Tell Fox/MSNBC to stop smearing Ron & Rand Paul with "isolationist" label

"Memo to Cable News: Learn the Difference Between ‘Isolationism’ and ‘Non-Interventionism’"

Mediaite's Andrew Kirell took Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett (and some MSNBC and CNN anchors) to task for REFUSING to learn the difference between "isolationism" and "non-interventionism," while trying to use the former title to smear/belittle Ron and Rand Paul.

I sure wish people would lay off Ron

because he most definitely doesn't deserve to be dragged into and Used for people's evil agendas.

Just in the last few weeks there was that horrible Conrad the Constitution episode the makers are in trouble for. Depicts RP wielding a semi-auto rifle, and the episode talks about assassinating Ogolfer. Uncool!

Then Liz Wahl at RT pulled her b.s. publicity stunt using Ron Paul.

And on March 17th, this article will come out in print in The New Yorker Magazine. It's supposedly an exclusive first interview with Peter Lanza, father of Adam Lanza the Sandy Hook killer, and it just has to say that Adam was a fan of Ron Paul. http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2014/03/17/140317fa_fact_...

Leave Ron Paul the hell alone!

My sentiments exactly - good post. Chris Wallace is a Ron Paul-

...hater from 2007.

He busted Dr. Paul at every turn.

The biggest piece of horsecrap in the media.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Better yet...

...just stop watching MSNBC/FOX NEWS etc.

Media smearing and the Paul family...does it matter?

I would rather have friends then enemies, as I am sure that most people would. Nevertheless, it it is time to wonder whether the idiot smears from the likes of Fox News or MSNBC etc. really hurt our people all that much.

The "mainstream" media (both "news" and entertainment)have now clearly seen better days, they are shrinking in every sense-size of advertising markets and revenue, percentage of viewership, especially among young(er) people, quarterly and annual profit reports, and so on...

I don't think that the only reason is their ideological disconnect from most Americans, Democrats primarily on welfare State and GOP primarily on foreign policy and war, but it helps that Ron Paul and (sometimes) Rand, articulate positions that more easily resonate with today's voters and taxpayers, then the dinosaur media/politician/corporate axis does.

Maybe more attention should go toward new and independent media and news outlets that aren't saddled with the ignorance and prejudice of "news" media which hasn't really changed politically since the '60s-"liberals", or the '80s- with our "neo"-conservatives.

The disapproval in the 2014 midterms, or the 2016 Presidential elections from such businesses and institutions will NOT have the same impact as past years, and we should avail ourselves of better and more contemporary media.

I just heard Hannity on the car raido

talking with a guest about Cruz having a difference with Rand and he referred to Rand as having isolationist views like his father.

Hannity just like Fox support the Military Industrial Complex!

The Neocons just love war. I also, heard on the radio Jay Severin from Blaze radio state that he wanted to see a celebrity such as Trump win. He did not like Rand or Cruz.

This guy doesn't want someone principled to win.

Fox News are hypocrites. They support every military intervention arising. Then, they appear to be concerned with the Wounded Warriors Organization.

Rand should say "I'll punch you in the nose, if you call me that

Would be a ballsy move

Poor Gregg Jarrett

I am truly embarrassed for this guy. He thinks that the few who still watch that old shriveled-up propaganda outlet, (Fox News) are sitting in their livingrooms thinking 'how brilliant' Gregg's insights are and 'if Gregg says there is no difference between isolationism and non-interventionism, then it must be true'. But I've always thought him a bit of a dumb stump. To the rest of the folks, this is just more ignorance on parade. Awww, poor Gregg:(

Some stupid b*tch on Fox did it this morning during a Mike Lee

interview, I was waiting to hear him correct her but he completely ignored it and moved on.

That Clayton guy did it too. Changed the channel.

You could also walk your own precinct.

Get to know your neighbors and explain things to them personally in a way that best matches the individual you are speaking with.

That's the most effective way to counter MSM lies.

So far no one has brought up a more effective way to communicate, campaign, recruit, get votes, etc, than walking one's OWN precinct.

ill give you this clue for free

they KNOW the difference.

The fact that "isolationist" is an inflammatory word right now is EXACTLY why they ARE labeling Ron and Rand in that manner.

I wondered how long the attack on Rand would take to happen after CPAC.

Yeh, like they're really going to listen to that advice.

Nope. Got to stick to the script.
