You won't be able to stop this...

Head to the link and start pushing your arrow keys and you will see what I mean.

The phrase 'Just...one...more...time...' comes to mind.

2048 . . . 4096 . . . 8192!

When I reached this point in the game, I knew I'd REALLY won.

And I did:

And I just kept rolling, until this happened:

120700 points.

I think I'm finally cured. Can I gloat, just a little?

I already beat it so I think

I already beat it so I think I'm done with it for now. Was fun, though.

...

4096: Done!

Double the fun: keep playing until you reach 4096!! It CAN be done:

Wonder if I can make 8192 . . .

Finally!

Okay, that was exciting. What a time hog, though. I figure to win this game, you need to make upwards of 7000 additions. Compare that to your average chess game?!?

Done.

And I'm never playing that stupid game again. Ever. At least for a while.

2048

Well I'm a sucker for puzzles and puzzle games.

This morning I turned that game on and on my forth try I managed to win and reach a block that said 2048

Yay! My final score was 20516.

Not sure I'll ever play again as I've conquered that mountain but it was fun and challenging so thanks for the temporary diversion.
:D

Yeah, I imagine when/if I can get to the 2048 tile

I'll pack it up and be done with it. I am getting closer and closer each time, but still not quite there yet. I prob won't quit until I get there though.

Well, congratulations to you.

I solved this this weekend

Why do you think I wasn't here? lol

The key is put your biggest number down in the lower right corner, and don't let it move. Keep adding to that one big number down in the corner. Just keep feeding it, but don't let it move!

To wit, always keep that bottom row stacked with 4 numbers. Once you get set up, never use the up button. Only side to side and down.

Sometimes you're forced to move it, because there is no side or down move. In which case, every time I've lost my position, I've lost the game.

With this method, I find I can win about every 1 in 4 games.

But the tradeoff is that it is really boring. You're just executing a system.

Heard of Flappy Bird?

I've never played it, but there was an article in the Rolling Stone about it.

Interesting article.

This game reminds me of the elements I read about in that article:

Extreme simplicity. Easy to learn, difficult to master.

That was interesting & fun. Thanks.

I never played it. But the

I never played it. But the developer apparently was earning $50,000 per DAY in advertising and for whatever reason decided to shut it down.

5728

That was my high score.

It is in that article why he shut it down. Apparently he's brining it back.

He may not like that stress, but he likes that money!

Good night John.

Gathering information on Coachella

and browsing the DP and now playing a number game.

And thinking of a new spotlight artist and a jam of the day, then looking for the Jordan Page concert so I can write about that.

What are you doing up?

I was playing that game, too. Fun. Addictive. But I'm going to go to bed.

Renato says I should go to bed early, and get up early. He says I'll be more productive if I get up at 5am to meditate! I doubt I'll make it up in another 3 hours, but I he's right. Whenever I get back from Asia and I'm jetlagged, I get up early and go to bed early and I feel better. Get up at 5, and four hours later it is only 9 and all that stuff is accomplished!

But by nature I'm a night owl.

I had a good meeting with the men tonight. A men's meeting. He keeps telling me I should do the Men's Weekend.

https://www.sterling-institute.com/sterling-institute-menswe...

He's also done the Landmark forum. There is also a woman's weekend. Do you know anyone who's done it?

Goodnight kiddo. I'm looking forward to reading what you learn about Coachella. The first time I heard about it was in this song. I don't even know where it is.

:)
