What? Hawaii Cops Allowed To Have Sex With Prostitutes

In a quick Felony Friday Pt. 2 edition, an exemption to state law in Hawaii that allows undercover police to have sex with prostitutes during sting operations has come under fire by legislators.

Authorities say they need the legal protection to catch lawbreakers. Critics, including human trafficking experts and other police, say it’s unnecessary and can further victimize sex workers, many of whom have been forced into the trade.

One would have to be monumentally naive to think that thousands of taxpayer dollars haven’t been written off for fun romps by Hawaii’s detectives (the Feds do it after all, so why wouldn’t locals?).

Let them rob banks so that can catch bank robbers? Blow bridges so they can catch terrorists? Sell guns to drug dealers to catch drug dealers? Oops, I guess they already tried that, LOL. If it's illegal for the citizen, it should also be illegal for the cops. What ever happened to "serve and protect"?
