"Updated" Police Encounter Business Card Design...

http://files.wnd.vphosted.com/rest/objects/4a8438f1a546c70b0...

As soon as the police officer begins asking questions that you do not plan to answer; I would wait for a pause and then read the card (front & back). After reading it; look at your watch and say what time it is out loud. Once again you ask "Am I Free To Go"; I believe the police have so much time that he can detain you and then he must let you be on your way or charge you with something. If he ask for the standard stuff (DL, proof of insurance, & registration; give him a copy of the card you read...

What do you all think now???

Police encounters are becoming more intrusive for liberty minded people like us!!!

Also, are you suggesting not producing your license?

If you are suggesting not complying with the orders of the officer, you're putting your life in jeopardy.

on the back side

I am not a UNITED STATES CITIZEN I am a Citizen of the state of which I was born which is a part of the united States of America. So mine would be North Dakota state.

I know most would not know the difference. But the UNITED STATES is a corporation done in Feb. 21 1871. I am not a citizen of that corporation.

If your apart of their corp then you must obey all there rules under the original Constitution the u on unite is small not capitalized. the correct wording and spelling is the "Constitution for the united States of America"
that the states united.

Thanks
May GOD Bless each and everyone.
I pray that God may see that Ron Paul will not be hurt or wounded, that he may become our next full two term President of the united States of America!

I hear you...

but the typical cop would never understand.

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they attack you, then you win!"

"The belief is worthless if the fear of social and physical punishment overrides the belief."

"I'd like to go on my way now"

That is my preferred way to phrase my desire to leave.
As in...I'd like to go on my way NOW, am I free to go?

I don't consent to searches, or seizures of any kind.

I'm properly invoking the law and shall remain silent.

I like referring to rights as the law because it preempts their "I'm just upholding the law position" that they are so fond of.
You want to uphold the law? Then uphold the supreme law and protect my ability to remain silent.

I Don't See The Point

Police are not going to bother reading any literature you hand them. Speaking the words on the card seems to be a simpler and mote effective way of communicating the same thing to them.
I like the idea of checking the watch and announcing the time though. I wonder what a reasonable amount of time is to have to wait for a K9 unit to arrive and false alert for them so they can then begin their searches?

this is exactly what will happen.

Barry Cooper is an expert witness for cases involving a K9 "false alarm". He trained K9's for the police, and freely admits that they do teach the dogs to false alarm on command so they can perform searches on uncooperative drivers.

I'd rather have a bottle in front o' me than a frontal lobotomy

Minor grammatical correction

On the first side of the card, the last phrase should be "in which I have an interest."

Some cops will shoot you for using improper grammar. Just kidding. I think. Actually, not so sure . . .

"The belief is worthless if the fear of social and physical punishment overrides the belief."

Great Idea!

If you make any others, as mentioned below, please post.

Did you create the card?

I would consider changing the font and the backgrounds.

Maybe include the Civil Peacetime Flag of the United States.

I use Blue Wave, but don't expect one of THEIR silly taglines.

Thanks again...

A corrective change will be updated here by tomorrow morning...

"The belief is worthless if the fear of social and physical punishment overrides the belief."

Sweet!

Can't wait to see it.

I like to use of scenery shots but you need something that has...a little more "Continuity of Liberty".

You know what I'm saying.

Peace

I have made corrections to the wording and plan...

to explore different background scenery that matches the message. Any help from the community would be greatly appreciated. Work in progress!!!
