I am alone!

To all the souls here driven to liberty and for it, this day finds me alone. I've come to realize a great crossroads when considering liberty. That crossroads is my children. Maybe I have been controlling for some time now when it comes to the protection of my children. Maybe I have been controlling for some time now when it comes to the future our representatives are destroying for them.

For those of us here who are privileged enough to have shared some or most of our lives with another; in health, in sickness, in poverty, in uncertainty, in desperation and in love, let me tell you I write this a lesser prided, humble man this evening. The last thing I ever want to be is controlling, or think that I have the ability to control others. Liberty has taught me better! When it comes to your own children, all of us here would agree that everything we discuss here, everything we vent about is for their future, their chance to have a betterment of society and the liberties we hope such society will foster.

I have come to realize this night that I only have complete control over my own body, my own spirit, my own health. Try as I may to influence those things in my children, I must recognize there is another person who has their utmost protection in mind...even if such views do not align with my own. You see, in marriage you come to realize through many vital and pivotal moments that even though compromise isn't always possible, surrender is.

I feel it invasive and unnecessary to expand on the details of what it is I'm sharing with you all. I hold far to much respect for my wife to share the details, but I will tell you all this: liberty isn't always how we wish it to be. Liberty is the ultimate concept of compassion and love, but it CANNOT be confined to what it is we believe alone or defined by what we view as ultimately right. I am man who would take a bullet without thought if it meant saving my children, but I've come to realize there is another who is willing to do the same.

This night I share with you the most heart-wrenching thread I've ever shared. I do not share this but for the benefit of all of us to recognize that sometimes our view of liberty isn't exactly the same view of those who hold a stake in the lives of those we've created together; through love, trust and spirit. Sometimes you must let go of those you love most in order to entrust that those you love most also hold intentions that are true, genuine and for the best of intention.

For all that will come to pass, remember this: you ONLY have complete control over your own choices, health and mind. You do not have complete control over those you love most, including your own children. Complete control is not aligned with liberty and there must always remain the sacred understanding between those you cherish most that your opinion is not the only opinion there is and that your view is not the only view.

I love you all and I wish you all the greatest life you could ever hope for, but recognize that those you share your deepest abysses with will never see the world with your eyes...they cannot see but with their own. And maybe that is the point of liberty...for those who mean the most to us and those who we do not know, that in communication of ideas comes the true emancipation of liberty, which is the emancipation that each of us must always be right, in control and above all others. People do not want to be told what to do and whether they are being told to submit to the State or to Liberty we must recognize that submission is not the path by which Liberty is sparked. Liberty comes from the delicate balance of empathy, realization and surrender. In surrender there is an immense liberation in knowing you fought as long as you could and that what comes will tell if your fight was worthy or not.

We should all recognize by now that our fight for what we believe and hold as principle is not lost by our surrender of it to the consciousness we share in common. Together, we are never alone. We all come into this dimension, this Earth through the understanding that those we blessed with our conception were those we also understood were in need of a great inspiration, a great impact. Let those who have impacted us most find their own way to liberty, however they may.

Peace and Love always and forever.

Thank you all for your input..

but let me clarify a little more. This thread is something to be remedied with time, with patience and with trust. When I wrote and spoke my vows I put complete trust in another. As of two days ago I am realizing that I must actionably trust in order for those words to mean anything. Saying that you trust without actionability is like saying your Vegetarian while eating meat.

Family is everything! Liberty can be found in family nd we all must be willing to surrender to the things we may not be able to completely control. Love to all.

Relax!

Your job as a parent is to see to it that your kids don't Darwinize themselves while they learn to not Darwinize themselves by their own devices, and then let them sleep on the couch for the rest of their liveslet them go off to make their own way, as you maintain the "home front" in case of dire emergency.

And always trust your gut.

Advice from "The Prophet"

I was watching the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson one night several years ago and he quoted from the following passage from Kahlil Gibran, a prose writer that I had not heard about prior to that introduction. Here I reproduce text with emphasis added to highlight the pertinent advice from Gibran:

On Children

Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them,
but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

You are the bows from which your children
as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends you with His might
that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,
so He loves also the bow that is stable.

hold on there

Don't do anything stupid.

Yeah...

I live a pretty intense life full of intense views. I cannot imagine living it any different. There was a short time ago when I would've never questioned the "professionals", but when you come to realize they have never cured a damn thing you've sought out remedy for, you cannot help but wake up to the fact that this nation is sick, and ever-increasingly so.

If someday all my efforts to educate and speak out are overshadowed by those who convinced enough people otherwise, then that is what will come to pass. At least I held true to my beliefs and my questioning of authorities. That is possibly all there is for me to do.

Have you tried...

I've been a seeker all my life. I've always had this insatiable desire to know, WTF!!! You know, stuff like, "If there is a God who has any power, then why are things the way they are?" It started from, "What's the secret? Howcome everybody is so happy all the time while I'm so miserable all the time?"

Anyway, long story short, my quest has led me to http://www.godchannel.com on the Spirit side, and http://rightuseofwill.com/ on the Will side.

And I'm really quite crazy. I believe I'm Jesus's crazy brother who got locked away in the basement and nobody's been allowed to talk about. Ever. And I've got a message from the Divine Will, the Great Yin, the Mother of Everything - Mother is coming out of the coma she got knocked into when Deity blew itself up in the Big Bang, and She's here to stop all the fighting. Spirit (which everybody up to now has thought was all of God) has finally realized he hasn't got a clue how to create a Universe, but Mother has known all along.

And the answer is Free Will. And, of course, Love. Unconditional Love is the raw material of the Universe. The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle is Free Will. Life is chaotic; stasis is death.

I feel you brother. My wife

I feel you brother. My wife says I take this stuff way to seriously and there isn't a thing I can do about it. Although she does see through the illusion now. She will just do the best she can on that day because she is not willing to accept that the world can fade into darkness. She says that technology will bail us out. It always has before, right? Ours is suffering, drudgery, and pain. It teaches and helps us grow. God Bless.

I do not see liberty as a philosophy or principle

I see liberty as reality rooted in congruent and never conflicting application of law. Perfect liberty would be nothing more than the law applied properly where no law can violate any other law and one cannot break the law to uphold the law. The implications of realizing that true liberty is nothing more or less than proper application of law means that it is not necessary to attempt to forcefully convince someone that liberty is a healthy philosophy that should be pursued because most political philosophy is rooted in confusion within an individual that can be revealed in the only circumstances that even matter; when facing an adversary in court.

When one discovers the confusion by so many of what law actually is and simply seeks the required perfect congruency in law upheld then one can defend liberty in the forum that decides facts of reality; a court of law. If one really thinks about it, it does not matter what political philosophy one has because if they are confused because they have chosen to ignore the law then that individual cannot defend themselves without violence and they can do nothing to protect themselves from tyrannical legislation applied to them that actually has no lawful application to them. Liberty allows people to live their life completely confused but if they ever face an adversary that has mastered the law to maintain their own liberty then the master of law will set the precedent because the congruent corroborated facts will form the precedent and enable their liberty to be upheld.

The confused are not armed with the protections of law and they can have all the opinions or 'education' in the world about what is law or what there 'ought to be a law for' and that opinion may even make it to passed legislation, but even then that still does not matter if that 'law' has no application to any man or woman and the individual facing enforcement of legislation knows how and why it doesn't within proper application of law.

I have found the political philosophies (even arrogance of applying 'law enforcement') fail quickly in our courts when one simply uses real law to enable others to realize their own confusions. So in the end it doesn't matter if your family, neighbor, 'judge' or bureaucrat has a different political belief because that is totally irrelevant to the law. If they don't understand the law then they will conflict themselves into embarrassment when the protections of law is revealed to themselves by someone knowledgeable in law enough to enable their path of conflict and confusion to be openly revealed. This is exactly why 'fighting for liberty' in politics doesn't make any sense and is only a different shade of the confusion. If we uphold the protections of law then liberty is realized and does not matter what other people think the law 'ought to be' or who is 'elected'.

This clear understanding of law means that emotion can be removed from the subject completely when dealing with others because one knowledgeable in law already knows how to access it's supreme protections and knows that those enslaved to the system are really only consenting to their own enslavement from their own ignorance of law. The sooner the liberty movement realizes this fact in nature that law has inherent fail safe protections if one has accessed its essence and scope, the sooner liberty will be exercised to its fullest potential. Until then those knowledgeable in law will enjoy liberty and those who choose to ignore the law will suffer the wrath of tyranny. Tyranny is only the lawful outcome for those who wish to ignore the protections of law, this fact is inherent to existence and is a law of nature. This is the lesson that is being taught to humanity and the only question is how much tyranny is each individual going to experience for people to learn this most important lesson of existence...

The most powerful Law of Nature is Time. It is finite and we all will run out of it. Use this Law to your advantage, for it offers you infinite possibilities...

Real Liberty

Freedom means laws are unnecessary. Government is an artificial construct, and is in opposition to the Laws of Nature.

Free Will is Good. Opposition to Free Will is Evil.

Freedom is my Worship Word!

You contradict yourself a little but I agree with your point

In one breath you say laws are unnecessary and then acknowledge the Laws of Nature.

I mostly agree with your statement but I don't think you understand what I mean by laws. I mean all law from Divine Law through the laws of Nature, common law, organic law, constitutional law all the way to statutory laws that individuals voluntarily consent to.

So I think we are essentially saying the same thing it is just that I think most don't understand how they consent to being an artificial person in an artificial system applying artificial legislation as law to themselves when this was never necessary with or without the artificial entity of government.

However, we can't have laws of nature and laws being unnecessary at the same time. Law is not about unnecessary, it is only about what is, whether real amongst nature or artificial within the individual's mind.

The most powerful Law of Nature is Time. It is finite and we all will run out of it. Use this Law to your advantage, for it offers you infinite possibilities...

That sounds...

...like a very rough thing to be going through there. It's hard enough to have extended family giving friction and pressure over stances on issues, let alone having it front and center between husband and wife, when both think they are doing what's best for their kids. Won't pry further into the details, but hope there might be some kind of middle ground you can find. Prayers for you...

You're not alone.

Have faith!

My wife was a progressive democrat when we married 25 years ago. I was a neo-con republican. In 2008, my eyes were opened and I learned about liberty. For the first time in my life, I read the US Constitution start to finish.

My wife thought I was crazy. Still does, to some extent. But like our government's encroachments upon our liberty, she moves a bit at a time. We discuss and occasionally debate and often disagree. But the more she is presented with facts about how big government causes unintended consequences, the harder it is for her to defend it. Today, she no longer is a registered D and has a more open mind.

My oldest son--a former navy guy who subscribed to the neocon POV--discovered in the last election cycle that Ron Paul gets the lion's share from military voters. That sparked his interest.

My teenage son who is now a college freshman--loves when I talk anti-establishment. Keep this in mind. Teenagers naturally want to rebel. You can leverage this. I do and my son accepts when I send him material about student loan problems that discuss the faulty economic practices the government uses. My anti-government bias seems to resonate with him.

The bottom line here is that some people will just dig their heels in and refuse to accept the reality of the direction our government is taking us. But don't think that nobody is listening to you. They may think you're nuts on some level. But the more that what you say is proven to be right, the more impact it will have on your family.

Good luck. :-)

Letting go with love..

It really hit me hard when I realized I couldn't make someone live the life I wanted for them.. I still struggle with letting it go.
