School Science Project Reveals High Levels Of Fukushima Nuclear Radiation in Grocery Store Seafood

By Michael Snyder, on March 27th, 2014

Fukushima Radiation - University Of New South Wales

A Canadian high school student named Bronwyn Delacruz never imagined that her school science project would make headlines all over the world. But that is precisely what has happened. Using a $600 Geiger counter purchased by her father, Delacruz measured seafood bought at local grocery stores for radioactive contamination.

What she discovered was absolutely stunning. Much of the seafood, particularly the products that were made in China, tested very high for radiation. So is this being caused by nuclear radiation from Fukushima? Is the seafood that we are eating going to give us cancer and other diseases? The American people deserve the truth, but as you will see below, the U.S. and Canadian governments are not even testing imported seafood for radiation. To say that this is deeply troubling would be a massive understatement.

In fact, what prompted Bronwyn Delacruz to conduct her science project was the fact that the Canadian government stopped testing imported seafood for radiation in 2012…

I'm getting tired of this

I really love the DP crowd and enjoy the vast majority of articles on all topics. The anti-nuclear bent that the community seems to be on is really getting frustrating.

The fear surrounding nuclear power, the FUD around the Tepco plant at Fukushima, and the whole scariness associated with the evil word "Radiation" are making fools of so many people.

Learn the science. It's not secret knowledge. It's available for free for anyone to study, and there are great knowledgeable people who can help explain it. I don't mean that a few people will tell you that it's simply "nothing to worry about".

There's a massive distance (undirected radiation loses 7/8 its energy every time its distance from the source doubles) and a short exposure time (fission STOPPED when the tsunami hit, because the reaction was impossible to continue) and a ton of safeguards (such as concrete, dirt, steel). How about the fact that plain water blocks most of the harmful range of the radio spectrum? Besides those facts, what would it do to you to eat fish that has been exposed to radiation? Is the fish radioactive? If you're worried about that, then you'd better stop eating other foods that have also been radioactive since the beginning of time, such as bananas, milk, coffee. . . .Careful, that radiation in your mamma's milk might cause you to mutate and grow a third arm!

I don't mean to criticize any post regarding radiation. Please, though, I beg everyone to do their homework and learn about it. Don't be afraid of guns, radiation, fire, freedom, strangers, etc. Just learn about them!

A great primer, and I hope you do sit through the whole thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9M__yYbsZ4&list=PL9p3Ws-jom...

Emalvini, I have great respect for you and follow so many of your posts. Please, don't take this as a personal attack or anything. I'm just desperately trying to bring more information out there.

Michael Nystrom's fists can punch through FUD.

SHTF.... what happens?

When a massive breakdown occurs, what do you think will happen to the power stations?

How many shifts will the workers remain on the job and not go home to their families before a relief shift comes?

When will the relief shift come? 4 hours? 8 hours? 1 day? 3 days? 1 week? 2 weeks? never? Let's say 1 power station shuts down in an orderly fashion. Will the next one? Or the next one?

When the preppers "bug out", do they know the downstream fallout coverage from the local power plants?

In a longer term scneario even if you escape the cloud, what about water sources and soil saturation for when preppers start growing food?

Very few people will survive a longer term SHTF scenario as a result of this and the TPTB know this. It's probably why they are building massive COG bunkers.

The network of plants is like a giant can of Raid pointed at the people in a SHTF scenario. No matter where you go, no matter how well prepped you are, there is a high liklihood of one or more upstream powerplants from you ending up with a fallout scenario that will affect you.

If you swallow something giving 140 counts a minute

that's 140 opportunities for mutation or cell death every minute. I don't think people are worried about gamma waves from japan, they're worried about contaminated material being brought near them, passively or otherwise.

The government has the answer...

The government has the answer for this problem, raise the limits on radiation allowed in food. Problem solved !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at how spin doctors presented the radiation in food story.

No implications, and not even a hint of anything important.
Here is a picture of the student that broke this story wide open:

Only the roaches will survive.....

so make friends with them while you can.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

What is in the water will be in us!

We are at least 70% water based to start with. The food chain will certainly absorb these toxins.
