UPDATED:This Is Accurate And Now 100 Percent Confirmed: Hijacked Ibm Engineer Successfully Dialed Out Of Diego Garcia

I find this interesting. I have no idea what is going on.
I do think that every avenue should be researched to find the truth.

Can anyone debunk this?

RUSH UPDATE: The story below is NOW CONFIRMED 100 PERCENT TRUE.
The blindfold:

The man claimed to be blindfolded when he sent the message. When the American military blindfolds someone, it is accomplished by putting a bag over the head that is locked so you can't get it off. This left the engineers hands free. This would have made it possible for him to pull his Iphone 5 (a fact confirmed by the Exif data) out of his butt as stated, and use the voice command ability of the Iphone to just talk to it to log in and post the message. This explains why he sent a black photo, he could not see what he was sending, he just knew he snapped a photo and sent whatever got taken.

The coordinates:When the coordinates are added to the fact that the photo's exif data does not match the Google coordinates or any other coordinates for Diego Garcia that are posted online, but is still within the boundaries of Diego Garcia, it proves that no one just pulled those coordinates off the web. It helps confirm that this was not just a hoax because the coordinates are exact to wherever on Diego Garcia the Iphone was when it took the photo.

exif data is editible

why is the title crossed out?

Because it is bogus

That's the update.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet, even if (or especially if) it claims to be "Accurate And 100% Confirmed."

Surely you jest!

I just learned on another topic that Abraham Lincoln was quoted as saying 85% of the quotes on the internet were made up. Are you saying this could be a lie too! My life is a sham. Sham WOW that is!

Interesting band and title

It's official: DG has 100% global satellite broadband coverage.

Here is their web-ad with contact info. If this supposed communication by Philip Wood is a hoax, the infrastructure at DG does at least exist for such a text/pic.
-----------------------------------------------
http://www.ts2.pl/en/US-Army-Base/Diego-Garcia-%28Air-Force%...
Contemporary military operations, peacekeeping and stabilization missions require from the armed forces to take actions in unknown and very often distant areas. An example may be the mission of the Armed Forces in Diego Garcia (Air Force), Diego Garcia, BIOT. Military operations are carried out in vast areas with poor telecommunications infrastructure. In such circumstances only modern systems of satellite communications may provide fast, reliable, interference- and interception-resistant information transfer in command centers, operating units and other sub-units (logistic, engineering, etc.).

Due to the way the Armed Forces are involved in mission operations in Diego Garcia (Air Force), Diego Garcia, BIOT or the areas of poor telecommunications infrastructure, there is practically no alternative to the satellite communications.

Our satellite products YahClick, Hylas 2 (unlimited), Intelsat 10-02 (unlimited), NSS6 satellite (unlimited) and Global Personal Service (Mobile Internet) are available in all US bases, including locations in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Middle East. This broadband service offer two-way high-speed internet access with no phone lines, no cable, no dial-up modem. It's always online, available virtually anywhere, and affordable.

Portable Internet BGAN (Global Coverage) is available in all US bases, including location of Diego Garcia (Air Force), Diego Garcia, BIOT. This broadband satellite service offer two-way high-speed internet access with no phone lines, no cable, no dial-up modem. It's always online, available virtually anywhere, and affordable. The value of BGAN terminals is that unlike other satellite Internet services which require bulky and heavy satellite dishes to connect, a BGAN terminal is about the size of a laptop and thus can be carried easily. The network is provided by Inmarsat and uses three geostationary satellites called I-4 to provide almost global coverage.

Satellite phones provide 100% global coverage of voice communication — making them an ideal solution for soldiers from Diego Garcia (Air Force), Diego Garcia, BIOT, in any situation or next locations.

Blogger claims to have uncovered the mystery surrounding the disappearance of flight MH370
Tuesday, Apr 1, 2014 at 11:39 AM MST

It has been nearly one month since Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 disappeared. After weeks of data analysis and false leads, it is unclear if authorities are any closer to solving the mystery of the missing plane. But one blogger is confident he has uncovered the truth.

I think the bigger question here would be...

Why the hell does AT&T have a cell tower on Diego Garcia?

LOL! This is about as crazy as it gets. The guy manages to sneak his phone in and then get it out and take a picture but apparently isn't smart enough to use the flash or has his finger over the lens? Oh and then he just happens to get a signal hundreds of miles away from any tower? Or maybe Diego Garcia has a guest wifi network for him to use? LOL!

All he needed was wifi.

Hi Steve, Re: the

Hi Steve,
Re: the black/blank photo from the IBM tech on the lost Malaysian jet. The
photo was taken inside a building just off the runways at Diego Garcia. I
put the photo into my editing software, grabbed the GPS point and here it
is. Try this: go to: itouchmap.com , choose #6, go to the
bottom right box and input the info
-7 18 58.3 LATITUDE
72 25 35.6 LONGITUDE

Click on: SHOW POINT
zoom in and you will see where the photo originated. Wow. You'll probably
recognize the heavy aircraft parked nearby.

This website is infested with domestic IC peeps, who are using various techniques to seed mistrust, paranoid ideas and provocations.

I do remember that back in 2007/2008 election cycle, one of TLA agents was on fishing expedition here by recruiting knuckleheads here on DP, by recruiting patrioticly minded hitmen. TLA is a three letter agency.

Now this thread, reminds Nigerian letter scams, the ones that FBI are dealing with on a daily basis. Nigerial letters intentionally give fantasmagoric situation and reward in order to weed out 95% of those who are rational. So for those azzholes who have fun creating stories about an iphone pulled out of the azz we should be applying much stricter standards.

Mr Nystrom does tollerate free speach and variety of ideas, but we should have a certain standard and it does makes sense to weed out some lunatic ideas.

We do appreciate fellow members bringing this data, but i would expect to see very little discussion behind such a post.

If you do not agree, I know a royalty, a Nigerian prince who has $20 Million in US Bank, and would be happy to give 20% commission for little administrative help, should not take more than 1 hour of work.

You don't get it?

People I have followed and dialogued with for 6 years have tested the claims made.

So far someone has yet to prove it is impossible.

As you pointed out, it is outlandish.

But if someone asks about it I can say with confidence that it can be hoaxed. To me, this is valuable.

Skeptic.

I just got a picture message

It's from one of the passengers who says he's locked up by some sort of military personnel! http://oi61.tinypic.com/2urmt5y.jpg You can save this image to your desktop and see the EXIF data which shows the coordinates of the photo taken by right clicking->Properties->Details. This is legitimate since EXIF data CANNOT be faked without some highly sophisticated software! You can see the coordinates are 7 degrees 18 min 58.32 sec South, 72 degrees 25 min 35.58 sec East. When you plug that in, it shows as being at Diego Garcia! This is BLOCKBUSTER!
On top of that, this is a picture of a clock made by Karlsson who has recently gotten contracts with the US and Israeli governments as the sole provider of clocks for the their militaries! There were only 10 of these clocks made and they were all shipped to DIEGO GARCIA! These are FACTS that are 100 PERCENT CONFIRMED!

10 seconds to pull up the

10 seconds to pull up the wikipedia for Geotagging:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geotagging

Another 10 seconds to find a hex dump of the format exif gps coordinates:
+ [GPS directory with 5 entries]
| 0) GPSVersionID = 2 2 0 0
| - Tag 0x0000 (4 bytes, int8u[4]):
| dump: 02 02 00 00
| 1) GPSLatitudeRef = N
| - Tag 0x0001 (2 bytes, string[2]):
| dump: 4e 00 [ASCII "N\0"]
| 2) GPSLatitude = 57 38 56.83 (57/1 38/1 5683/100)
| - Tag 0x0002 (24 bytes, rational64u[3]):
| dump: 00 00 00 39 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 26 00 00 00 01
| dump: 00 00 16 33 00 00 00 64
| 3) GPSLongitudeRef = W
| - Tag 0x0003 (2 bytes, string[2]):
| dump: 57 00 [ASCII "W\0"]
| 4) GPSLongitude = 10 24 26.79 (10/1 24/1 2679/100)
| - Tag 0x0004 (24 bytes, rational64u[3]):
| dump: 00 00 00 0a 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 18 00 00 00 01
| dump: 00 00 0a 77 00 00 00 64

And in another 1 minute with a hex editor one could simply modify this data. So to sum up, exif data is nearly effortless to edit.

Question to you, Sir:

Why do you have 3 posts that are exactly like this?

Did you delete them after the fact?

Just want to hear your side of the story.

I'll understand if you don't respond.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

FACT, 100 PERCENT CONFIRMED, PROOF

This hoax provided by me after about 20 minutes of time, little computer savy, and no sophisticated software (unless you count the first program that I found via a Google search). Websites like that really annoy me. Why do people do this when they don't actually know what they're talking about? And why do people just trust things they want to be true even if it's less plausible than mainstream theories?!

You have proven that it can be hoaxed.

It is harder to prove that it can't be real.

If there are hijackers involved then there is a criminal factor of misdirection.

The other investigators here concur with your findings.

I did wonder if you were from the government here to help.

Yet, not a single typo (just one spelling error). Capital letters, punctuation, even includes parenthesis.

I know I couldn't do that! I can't even do that with my eyes open! Always have to make corrections.

LOL

No typing was needed according to website.

"This would have made it possible for him to pull his Iphone 5 (a fact confirmed by the Exif data) out of his butt as stated, and use the voice command ability of the Iphone to just talk to it to log in and post the message."
http://jimstonefreelance.com/phillipwood.html

Does an Iphone5 have that capability? It would have already learned the nuances of his voice.

Yes, could have been voice ...

... and maybe he could tell they wouldn't hear him.

Still ... does iPhone5 battery last 10 days? Can it be shoved up the backside and not come out (and not make him walk funny)?

This guy Philip Woods is also one of the only Americans, possibly the only adult American, and probably the biggest dude on the plane.

They would have REALLY checked him out. If he ended up there, he would have been strip searched, and probably worse.

Don't buy it, but finding crates and jellyfish in the ocean isn't cutting it, either.
