PHARMOCRACY

There is a free market solution to today’s artificially inflated health care costs. Congress can amend the law to allow free market forces to drive down sick care costs, better enable the prevention of diseases, and facilitate rapid development of improved medical therapies. A just-released book titled Pharmocracy provides factual documentation to reform the broken health care system that plagues the United States. It is more than 300 pages long because there are at least that many underlying reasons why medicine costs far more than it should. Until now, no one has identified and amalgamated the plethora of illogical regulations that cause health care to be so overpriced.

William Faloon has been sounding the alarm bell since the early 1980s about the devastating economic consequences of overregulated medicine.

On March 20th 2014, I had the opportunity to meet Mr. William Faloon. He came out to speak about health care and it's many problems at the Broward County Libertarian Party monthly meeting. I also recorded some footage from the event...

What Obamacare is really about.

"...Obamacare is a stealth handout to insurers and Big Pharma. It is intended to force more healthy individuals who went uninsured into the pool, and it also allows insurers to fatten their profit margins from pre-Obamacare rules. Big Pharma benefits from a prohibition on drug reimportation." Naked Capitalist Dec. 5, 2013

An example of pricing differences for a Crohn's medication:

Entocort EC 90 capsules in the U.S. sells for $2250.27. The same medication from India made in an FDA approved facility sells for $144.67 for 100 capsules.

God bless you Reggie for posting this information.

My company has been involved in the fight for affordable medications for over twelve years. What Mr. Faloon says is absolute gospel. The Life Extension Foundation has a very libertarian approach to medicine. They offer naturopathic, homeopathic, and mainstream (allopathic) approaches for treating both the root cause and symptoms of disease. It's all about choice and what works for you, as it should be.

After all, it's a free market for them, not for you.

thanks!

...for the additional info. the more people realize they are paying inflated prices to support an illegal monoply, the sooner many will wake up and get Obamacare repealed!

Label Jars, Not People!

The

Mark up is insane. some prescription drugs that cost pennies to make sell for hundreds of dollars. And the taxpayers are forced to pay it...At least those who sign up for this medical ponzi scheme.

Label Jars, Not People!

This just happened today

One of the ladies who I work with just filled a prescription, the pharmacy screwed it up and mistakenly gave her the wrong meds, she noticed it and brought it back. Because of the error they gave her the right med, "at cost". What normally costs $16.00, they charged her .14, that's fourteen cents! What kind of markup do these pharmacies have?

will never sign up for forced medical

just say NO to Obummercare
