Another mass-shooting and AGAIN the shooter is on psychotropic drugs

The man behind Wednesday's deadly shooting at Fort Hood had mental health issues and was being treated for depression and anxiety before he killed three people and wounded 16 others.

Hours after the shooter opened fire, U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul of Texas identified the suspected gunman as Spc. Ivan Lopez. However, officials did not say what might have motivated him to kill fellow soldiers and then himself.

"We do know that this soldier had behavioral health and mental health issues and was being treated for that," said Lt. Gen. Mark Milley, head of the Army's III Corps at the Texas post.

Lopez was being evaluated for post-traumatic stress disorder, but had not yet been...

These shooters are always under the influence of EXTREMELY STRONG PSYCHOTROPIC DRUGS.

This will get worse before it gets better.

"OFFICIAL RESPONSE MORE MEANINGLESS RHETORIC", by Devvy Kidd

"While millions were shocked there was another slaughter at Ft. Hood, Texas, April 2, 2014, I wasn't."...

"The response from some pompous jackasses in the Outlaw Congress was the same vomit coming out of the sissy males on CNN, MSNBC and print media who constantly carp it's the guns."...

"Many American don't know it, but two months before 9/11 and without any explanation, a 40 year old FAA rule that allowed commercial air line pilots (many battle hardened military veterans) to be armed was rescinded. That's right. Oh, I suppose it's just another one of those coincidences about 9/11. Why wasn't that rule rescinded two years before 9/11 instead of two months before the slaughter?"...

"What we do know is that once again, another human being went off the deep end while taking those evil SSRI anti-depressant drugs like Ambien with endless side effects. I can't think of one school shooting where the child killer wasn't on Ritalin, Prozac or in the case of Columbine shooter, Eric Harris, he was on Luvox. I know because of [I] obtained a copy of his autopsy from the coroner's office. Dylan Klebold's is still sealed to my knowledge. While the big pharmaceutical houses claim those drugs are perfectly safe, nothing could be further from the truth:

"Just a year after fluoxetine was introduced, Bill Forsyth of Maui, Hawaii, had taken it for only 12 days when he committed one of the first murder/suicides attributed to any SSRI.

"In the same year Joseph Wesbecker killed eight others and himself in a Louisville, Ky., printing plant where he worked, after 4 weeks on fluoxetine. Yet as early as 1986, clinical trials showed a rate of 12.5 suicides per 1,000 subjects on fluoxetine vs. 3.8 on older non-SSRIs vs. 2.5 on placebo! An internal 1985 Lilly document found even worse results and said that benefits were less than risks. Such documents were released into the public domain by Lilly as part of the settlement in the Wesbecker case. Fifteen more “anecdotes” of murder/suicide, three with sertraline, were listed by DeGrandpre."

From Devvy Kidd's great new article on this subject!...

This is like blaming cancer deaths on chemotherapy.

Psycho's usually take psycho drugs. Sometimes they work, sometimes they make it worse, but to imply that the drugs themselves are the cause is just ridiculous. You guys are drawing a correlation between the drugs and the killings but you ignore the millions of people taking those same drugs who never kill anyone.
Think about how many people on chemotherapy die. Its likely a much higher percentage than the general population but that is obviously because EVERYONE on chemotherapy has cancer which was likely to kill them anyway.
People using psychotropic drugs likely commit mass murders at a higher rate than the general public but the underlying issue is that most of them were already psycho, thus they were using the drugs.
Its currently impossible to know who will react poorly to the drugs and who wont. Do you guys suggest outlawing these drugs which millions of people seem to think are helping them and have not caused millions of people to kill?

Free market capitalism isn't right for America because it works better. It's right because it's free (and it works better).

Thank you

The "legal" prescription drugs ARE the problem. And the gun rights groups will not make this the issue.

RAND PAUL or NOT AT ALL

time to look into the funding

the banksters have always put their people in positions of power in seemingly juxtaposed groups.

if there's an organized group, there's a bankster manipulating the talking points...

I've never researched it, but I'd bet a bunch of federal reserve notes that there are some big-time banksters who make giant contributions to the NRA and other similar groups.

At their inceptions, the #Liberty, #OccupyWallStreet and #TeaParty movements all had the same basic goal... What happened?

IF... the "Shooter-Soldier" Had Survived..

....and gone to trial, he had an excellent legal precedent to aid in his defense:

...guess what drug she "mistook" for thyroid medication?
ANSWER: AMBIEN
http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20791921,00.html
From the People article:
"She said in the course of trial testimony that she had mistaken her thyroid medicine for a generic sleeping pill."

Although the fact that she is a Kennedy, once-married to "Prince Andrew Cuomo certainly assured her of "royal treatment", one thing is certain today:
AMBIEN is being widely criticized, and its use scrutinized.

A most notable interview with retired Naval Commander, John Wells, who was once a military lawyer, aired on the TRU NEWS Radio show.

Wells touched upon the current military, that although practicing a policy of "diversity", has created a toxic environment for any active-duty soldier....yet retaining and promoting those who've never seen any "action".

We've got people serving today who normally would not make it through boot-camp.
But the AMBIEN will "make it all better", won't it?
Everyone seems to be jumping on the PTSD bandwagon these days.
...but if you're a Kennedy, or a Cuomo, it's expected isn't it?
Say a prayer for the last set of victims, and the ones to come.

...Everything CHANGED !!

He may well have been asleep!

Army Secretary John McHugh said "the soldier had been prescribed Ambien to deal with a sleeping problem".

Ambien (one of many brand names used for the drug Zolpidem) is well known to cause "potentially dangerous, complex sleep-related behaviors" such as carrying out tasks, having sex or carry on complex conversations while responding appropriately to questions or statements, so much so that observers may believe them to be awake.

Psychiatric side effects including cases of psychotic reactions have been reported in association with Zolpidem therapy.

Another report to ADRAC(Adverse Drug Reactions Advisory Committee) described a patient who woke with a paintbrush in her hand after painting the front door while asleep. had to slip that one in ;)

Those under the influence of this medication may seem fully aware of their environments even though they are still asleep, such as a patient who walked around the house like a "mad man" while asleep, and further reports which suggest the possibility of driving while asleep.

Some other side effects include:

Headaches
Nausea
Vomiting
Dizziness
Anterograde amnesia
Attack, assault, or force
Hallucinations, through all physical senses, of varying intensity
Delusions
Altered thought patterns
Ataxia or poor motor coordination, difficulty maintaining balance
Euphoria and/or dysphoria
Increased appetite
Increased or decreased libido
Impaired judgment and reasoning
Irritability
Paranoia
Increased impulsivity
Lack of feeling or emotion
Thoughts of killing oneself or changes in behavior
Uncaring
Uninhibited extroversion in social or interpersonal settings
When stopped, rebound insomnia may occur

What you are describing

What you are describing Swifty is called waking REM. It's also a side effect of SSRI's and is a lot more common than people know.

As someone who witnessed this firsthand in my BF who was prescribed an SSRI, an anti-anxiety med, and powerful pain killers all by the VA (surprise) for none other than herniated discs in his back.

It is very frightening to see and most of the time the person experiencing it has absolutely no memory of what they did while in waking REM.

It can come on any time and last for minutes, or hours. the psychiatrists that prescribe these meds in combo will pretend they know nothing about this side effect but are well aware it happens.

That damn gun ...

... put bullets into itself and then sneaked itself onto a military base and then took itself out of its hiding place and started firing itself at those people.

Oh, that dude attached to it who was messed up on psych drugs?

Don't pay attention to him.

Of course he was

They all are.

The answer is right in front of everyone's face - and the corporate media pretends its still some huge mystery that we "all have to band together to resolve" - by passing more regulations about guns etc etc.

I don't think its possible to perpetually keep telling people the sky is green when it is clearly blue - and expect them to never notice what you're doing ..

Is it? Are people really that dumb?

Well yes...

...yes they are.

I guess I'm not alone

Obviously that was meant to be a rhetorical question lol

All I do is turn on the TV for 10 minutes a day while I get my lunch, and it just gets confirmed over and over and over again.

There has to be something...

...more productive that you can do with those 10 minutes, like gaze out through the window to watch the grass grow or listen to a leaky faucet drip.

I guess I'm not alone

Now we know that its not combat

related PTSD. So we are only to conclude that it is either......mind altering drugs........or........

What I find funny is

That this very secure place filled with tens of thousands of trained men and women couldn't keep a gun off the property. You think he would have seen the sign where it said no guns allowed because that apparently works so well across our country.

How can soldiers not be allowed to carry on their own base. Shouldn't they be ready incase something big happens in their area. In my head I would think that our bases would be the best targets for other countries and terrorists to try and attack.

They should be armed just like every other red blooded American. One poor guy who was messed up in the head due to whatever b.s. they had him do to other people in other countries is all doped up on drugs and starts shooting his fellow men and women in uniform and all these people get told to do is to hide under their desks and HOPE they don't get killed.

Meanwhile

the DEA, whitehouse, OGERs and RINOs in Congress, and the "morally righteous" (who believe that they have some justification to legislate morality through force of govt.)....

Decry the the use of one of the most beneficial - natural - plants in the world.

This is just the natural outcome of pure corruption, you are witnessing it right now.

When

Will the drug companies be held responsible? Never?

when is never

.. very DEEP pockets, to BIG to sue.

Dude... don't you know? It's ALWAYS the gun's fault.

It was odd to see our trained killers at Fort Hood being ordered to "shelter in place" for their own safety.
