Good example of what can

Good example of what can happen when we all work together. I've heard men can move mountains once they set their minds to it.

Our grandpa is going to move our large barn w/ his wit. He's fun

How many grandpas does it take to move & bolt down a barn?

Grandpa is building another Stonehenge for us to play on. We can hardly wait; but, the wait will be worth its weight in time.

Moving barn shown @ 2 minute mark of our film. Please watch & see.

AAAAAH! The old pivot and cribbing technique

I too watched an old guy do it. He had a 2 ton bottle jack and a bunch of cribbing. He moved a house over 4 feet then raised it up to 5 feet, slid a trailer under it and moved it to another town. Took him 5 days of part-time, fairly relaxed work. And no snapping timbers!

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Looks neat but the audio.....UGH!

Unless somebody was driving a tractor through a copse of saplings just off camera...do you hear that hideous cracking and snapping of timbers? Some creaking and groaning would be normal but snap, crackle and pop?

Houses aren't supposed to sound like Kellogs Rice Crispies.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

How many Mennonites does it take to move a house....?

Folk-lift trucking, eh?

Nice to see a community full of folks, who,
each lifting enough;

was easily-enough done, as One.

Great Video

I love the Amish, Mennonite, Hutterite, and all other non-conformists. I wonder if they had the proper permits to do that! Was "boss man" certified?

I wonder ?

Oh that's right, we don't need no stinking permits!
