Why Are Americans Paying to Be Searched, Spied On, Shot At and Robbed Blind by the Government?

By John W. Whitehead | The Rutherford Institute

“To force a man to pay for the violation of his own liberty is indeed an addition of insult to injury.” —Benjamin Tucker, 19th century advocate of American individualist anarchism

The State Department wants $400,000 to purchase a fiberglass sculpture of a camel looking at a needle for its new embassy in Pakistan. They’ve already spent their allotted $630,000 to increase the number of “likes” and fans on their Facebook and Twitter pages. The NATO ambassador for the U.S. needs $700,000 for landscaping and gardening, the National Science Foundation would like $700,000 to put on a theatrical production about climate change, and the Senate staffers need $1.9 million for lifestyle coaching. Also, Yale University researchers could really use $384,000 so they can study the odd cork-screw shape of a duck’s penis.

I promise this is no belated April Fools’ joke. These are actual line items paid for by American taxpayers, whose tax dollars continue to be wasted on extravagant, unnecessary items that serve no greater purpose than to fatten the wallets of corporations and feed political graft (such as the $1 million bus stop, complete with heated benches and sidewalks which can only shelter 15 people and provides little protection from rain, snow, or the sun).

Case in point: despite the fact that we have 46 million Americans living at or below the poverty line, 16 million children living in households without adequate access to food, and at least 900,000 veterans relying on food stamps, enormous sums continue to be doled out for presidential vacations ($16 million for trips to Africa and Hawaii), overtime fraud at the Department of Homeland Security (nearly $9 million in improper overtime claims, and that’s just in six of the DHS’ many offices), and Hollywood movie productions ($10 million was spent by the Army National Guard on Superman movie tie-ins aimed at increasing awareness about the National Guard).

This doesn’t even touch on the astronomical amounts of money spent on dubious wars abroad.

Real Law already has an answer for this

Maxim of law:

"No one is bound to arm his adversary"

Lawfully no process in law can bind any man to arm his adversary.

Legally a "taxpayer" or a "citizen" is bound to pay taxes to the entity they have obliged themselves to and a judicial process must uphold the contractual obligations of a "citizen" of which law created through those contracts are also derived directly from other maxims:

Consent makes the law. A contract is a law between the parties, which can acquire force only by consent

The contract makes the law

He who consents cannot receive an injury

Consent removes or obviates a mistake

There are many more applicable maxims. Most do not realize that the courts are interpreting applicable law based on consent of the governed. Where is consent usually issued to subjugation to code applicability? When they ask "do you understand?". When one says yes they understand they have consented to being the "citizen" capacity regulated as a "taxpayer" required to pay "taxes" because the facts presented are that you stand under all claims of that capacity with obligations to pay for government.

If you do not understand because as a man or woman it is your understanding that the out of control criminal gang of men and women falsely claiming to be 'government' are operating under color of law and are in fact your adversary you are therefore not lawfully bound to arm this criminal gang in any way. This fact presented is a different fact than being a "citizen".

So in law we are not bound to arm them in any way. This is real law but everybody wants to play politics as citizens while they continue to feed monsters who will eat us later.

By law we are not bound to arm enemies. We can also use this fact in law to find out if any "court" is actually a court of law by simply stating the real facts as we understand them to be and seeing if they uphold the law. If they don't uphold the law then they are part of the criminal gang who should be short listed for action IF they initiate warfare against us.

The very fact that their easily provable ongoing criminals acts and obstruction of justice gives us reasonable belief that they may initiate war against us and in some cases already have, means that we have the necessary evidence to demonstrate beyond all reasonable doubt that they are indeed an adversary who must not be armed, aided or comforted in any way.

See how real law works? It's all about the facts of the case. What is your "understanding"??

The most powerful Law of Nature is Time. It is finite and we all will run out of it. Use this Law to your advantage, for it offers you infinite possibilities...

16th amendment ratified?

This could be easily remedied. If everyone didn't pay their taxes on April 15th, there would be action for sure. What would it be? I know one thing for sure. We outnumber them 10,000 to 1. Is that why the nation's police departments are being militarized? Does anyone know who Bill Benson is? Google: Thelawthatneverwas.com.

Matthew 19:24

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

This is off topic but I found it interesting the "art" the state department chose for the embassy. The authoritarians use this quote from the bible to claim that jesus was a communist and use it as propaganda against christians to justify the confiscation of "folks" wealth.

Yes, I agree.

Because the people condone it or call for it

Answer :

that's because the people condone it, or even, call for it.

This is what happens at some point down the slope from a republic down to a democracy, before even worse.

The Roman empire gave us a recent spectacular example large scale, of the same pattern, IMO.

The people is bribed to surrender on their only few true rights, by handouts devised from law makers creating their own fake money, with less and less risks to be taken accountable thanks to a proliferation of laws perverted used as a lever for expanding the bribing this sentence started with.

Aka... Full Circle.

The champions of this for the antique were called demagogues.

Today, the modern noun is "socialism", because they have also a professed and advocated theory to justify it. "Demagogues", though, still applies, at the core of it.

And by "people" I also include "corporations", for our era, btw.

You were warned, America :

You were warned, America :

"... a Republic, if you can keep it."

That's all there is to it.

Your founders already knew about the threat of the demagogues and their plans.

It was only up to you to remember their warnings, to reckon their wisdom.

I'm sorry, but it's merely the truth.

As ugly as it is.

answer...

None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

We must work so we can pay taxes. Taxes are spent as those who are spending them see fit.

As long as we have taxation with representation it is our own doing.

food for thought

Haha

I see what you are saying but realistically is there any "representation" happening; NO.

nice.. someone gets it

nice.. someone gets it

And a very simple answer presents itself

I pay because if I didn't they'd either throw me in a cell or kill me. Dead or imprisoned I cannot fight. Alive I can fight to effect change to make this a better world for my daughter.

I respect your decision.

I myself do not have children; so I made the decision to take a more direct approach through non-compliance.

My only question is this:
Can you really be "alive" if all of your actions are influenced by the coercive nature of government action?

Playing by a crooked set of rules

does not make you unalive ... undead ... a zombie ... BRAINS! Sorry, where was I?

Seriously, though, we are influenced by things around us all the time. Some of these things are fair and some are not. Think about the man or woman who was born into a body that was not formed properly. They have a far heavier chain than we do being simply coerced by the government yet they manage to be alive. So, I say, yes I can be alive even with a government who will jail or kill me simply because I don't give them 20% of what I make. The real question is how do I ensure my daughter doesn't have to face this same shackle and can be free without coersion?

Well

Most Americans do not have a backbone anymore. The spirit of rugged individualism and self-reliance has not been apart of our culture for quite some time. We have a culture of dependency and obedience.

I stopped paying for my enslavement a while ago and it feels fantastic. Let the goons come, I personally will never back down from this fight. The government has no legitimate claim to the product of your labor; to say that they do is to say that they own you and last I checked we "abolished" slavery because it was deemed an illegitimate practice. What is the Income Tax if not slavery?

I will die on my feet before I ever live on my knees.

Contradiction in one question?

"Why Are Americans Paying to Be Searched, Spied On, Shot At and Robbed Blind by the Government?"

If people are paying into an investment then each of those investors can be asked to accurately account for their interest in doing so.

If their interest is to be searched, spied on, shot at, and robbed blind by other people, then they may or may not be satisfied with the returns on their investments, each can be asked if they are, or are not, satisfied with their investments.

If the term "robbed blind" means that a crime was perpetrated upon an innocent victim by a guilty criminal, then that meaning behind that term can be explained as that meaning behind that term.

If a crime is perpetrated by a guilty criminal upon an innocent victim then that is how that guilty criminal defines government upon that innocent victim in that case.

That would be a case where government is defined as a crime in progress as the guilty criminal perpetrates robbery upon the innocent victim.

Government = crime.

How is that not a contradiction all rolled up into one single question?

How is that not a case of aiding and abetting the criminals by helping the criminals cover up their crimes with a false meaning of the word government?

Joe
