Texas Republican congressman Blake Farenthold refused to ask Eric Holder questions during a Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday, saying the attorney general should “be in jail” for ignoring congressional subpoenas instead of testifying before Congress.

Farenthold’s turn for questions came towards the end of a contentious hearing. The lawmaker explained that he would not exercise his right to question the witness as a protest against Holder’s refusal to comply with congressional subpoenas for documents related to the IRS’ Tea Party targeting investigation.

“I’m committed to maintaining the constitutional balance of power and the authority this branch, this legislative branch, has,” Farenthold said. “And I just don’t think it’s appropriate that Mr. Holder be here.”

I get it

He should be in jail for ignoring subpoenas from congress, but not illegal gun running or for murder?

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

I think Mr. Farenthold was saying Holder should be in jail

for ignoring the subpoenas relating to Fast and Furious for which he was held in contempt of congress but with no consequences. Therefore, Mr. Farenthold declined to ask any questions relating to the IRS allegations as Holder as no credibility.

Isn't that

what the subpoenas are for? The illegal gun running investigations or lack thereof. If so that makes them the same.

Now, That's A Real Man!!

Boom!

Wrong, he took the place of a real man after redistricting.

You better look closer at this dude. He`s my new congress critter after the retirement of Dr. Ron Paul who IS a real man.

It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people that pay no price for being wrong.

Yes, Ron Paul Is 'The Man'
