Vermont town to arrest Bush & Cheney?

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. - A town petition making President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney subject to arrest for crimes against the Constitution has triggered a barrage of criticism from people who say residents are "wackjobs" and "nuts."

I think we should show our support for these people and tell them that we support their efforts. Of course this is only a symbolic gesture but i think one that is well spent imho.

Ummm, then couldn't a Texas town arrest Ron Paul?

Do we really want to empower little towns to arrest anybody they don't like, for political reasons? A little town in Texas could do the same thing to Ron Paul.

Nevermind the fact that it's UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Ron Paul believes in the Constitution, not mob rule. The CONSTITUTION requires that the SENATE is the only way to impeach the President. Little towns can't arrest the President.

It's a symbolic gesture

If anyone thinks that the Brattleboro PD would actually arrest a sitting President, well, take yer meds.
