Glenn Greenwald Reacts To Winning Pulitzer Prize on Snowden info; Peter King says it's a "disgrace"

Glenn Greenwald told CNN's Brian Stelter on Sunday that receiving the Pulitzer Prize for public service was "really gratifying."

On Monday, Greenwald and other journalists at The Guardian and The Washington Post were awarded the Pulitzer for their reporting on the National Security Agency. The big question as the awards approached was whether the Pulitzer Prize committee would recognize their work, and they did just that.

Congressman Peter King, like other critics of Greenwald, reacted to the news less kindly, calling the win a "disgrace."

Peter King

I never heard of the honorable Peter King until he started running his mouth on the cable shows. Plonk.

Pulitzer Prizes Awarded for Coverage of N.S.A. Secrets and Boston Bombing

The Washington Post and Guardian U.S. on Monday won the Pulitzer Prize for public service, among the most prestigious awards in journalism, for their articles based on National Security Agency documents leaked by the former government contractor Edward J. Snowden.

Through a series of reports that exposed the N.S.A.’s widespread domestic surveillance program, The Post and Guardian U.S. set off an international debate on the limits of government surveillance. The papers also came under heavy criticism by the American and British governments, with lawmakers accusing them of compromising national security.

The Pulitzer board said that it gave the award for the “authoritative and insightful reports that helped the public understand how the disclosures fit into the larger framework of national security.”

Is King ever correct about ANYTHING?

If so I've never seen it.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Peter King would murder American ranchers, their children, wives

With drones. He'd call them terrorists. Him and Harry Reid would probably join hands and push the button.

I hope someone on the Sunday circuit hits him with that. That will shut his fat face up quickly.

King's face shows up in the dictionary under 'Disgrace'

He's a poster child for disgrace.

Disgrace to America, disgrace to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, disgrace to his oath of office and disgrace to humanity.

Oh the irony ..
