Obvious to you. Amazing to others.

Here is a short 2 minute video:

The point is obvious. Don't be selfish. Share your ideas. You never know what may turn out to be a hit.

Do you want to be great? Be prolific. I once read (I forget the name of the book) that what many of the widely recognized geniuses had in common was a high productivity. They all put out a large number of material. Was all of it great? No. But they had a few hits and they are remembered for the great stuff. So don't hoard your contributions for one great burst of brilliance. Practice titration. Contribute a little bit each day. Consistently put out stuff. Many things will go unnoticed. Sooner or later, though, you will produce a gem. It will connect with people. You may have no idea why. So do it. Share your thoughts. Create. And enjoy the process.
