Rasmussen Reports Survey: 53% of Americans Against BOTH Parties

Rasmussen Reports Survey: 53% of Americans Against BOTH Parties

Posted By Michael Minkoff on Apr 25, 2014

Drudge Report calls it a “shock” poll. Apparently it’s a real shock that more than half of Americans are fed up with both Republicans and Democrats. It’s not that much of a shock to me, though. The new Rasmussen Reports survey is causing a little bit of a stir—it found that 53% of Americans do not believe either major political party represents America. So 53% of Americans are apparently finally catching on.

Here are the actual numbers from the Rasmussen Reports survey:

Interestingly, 52% of Republicans and a plurality (44%) of Democrats agree that neither major political party is the party of the American people. But 65% of voters not affiliated with either party feel that way.

And yet ...

Let see how many of those same sheep say "But I don't want to be a 'Spoiler' so I'll just vote the way I always have" when they actually get in the booth.

Its like sleepwalkers that you finally wake up by shaking them over and over ... only to fall right back to sleep and walk out the door while you turn your back for an instant.

Whew thank god.

Rand doesn't heavily identify with party politics and instead choose the principled route. Man I almost thought... Well you know -- if people are now looking for a populist. There he is, just with a Republican attitude, history, beliefs, friends, and identity.

Man 2016 should of been a sweep. But the only sweep is the RNC sweeping our names, numbers, and wallets. Anyone else getting bombarded with MSM BS since donating to any of these folks? (It's becuase they sold your info - I know that becuase I used to work for the RNC dually while working for Ron Paul. Having a list of donors is worth 10000000x more than votes. Afterall you don't need to win an election for contributions. Open your fucking eyes. In fact the opposite is usually the case for the big two -- the bigger the loss for either side will usually respond in an "call to money arms") Case in point 2008 Franken Vs. Coleman. 25 million raised alone after the election recounts. 2 million is what we raised during the "election" we ALL knew he had no chance in winning.

My inbox has almost been rendered useless daily unless I clean out all the beggars ads from the RNC/C4l.

Taxation without Representation

When are people going to start chanting this?

This country is not of the people, it is of a misrepresentative system.

Systemized Misrepresentation.

Looks like this shell game is about played out

I am surprised it lasted as long as it did, the right/left media shills bought them a few elections cycles, but now even they have been found out. As this goes down the states will form coalitions as the federal government collapses from it's own weight, much like the Soviet Union fell apart.

In other words, 47% of people

In other words, 47% of people still wholeheartedly believe in enslaving 100% of the Non-Elite population. Yay!

Well someone

Has to pay for their food stamps. Are you going to throw out a bunch of healthy people into the streets and tell them to work and be productive ? Good luck with that. 1/3 of this country is too fat to even work anymore. Literally.

As The Good Doctor Said, We Are A One Party System

I have been blogging all over telling people about the One Party system, how they were the same party in the beginning (Democratic-Republican Party) but they split because they bickered on all the issues and they continue to bicker today. The One Party system also fights tooth and nail to keep other Parties out of the media, out of the debates, and have their media sounding boards discredit them in order to keep their power. This system keeps the people divided through the media by dividing the people on the issues, but Republicans and Democrats have one goal and that is to push us to a one world (economic) order and they need the people divided to accomplish their goal.
I have noticed "The People" waking up more and more. Our job, as Patriots, is to continue schooling the blind about this One Party system, until we defeat it. Blog everywhere, Yahoo, Huff Post, The Blaze, etc.... That is where you make a difference, and use this site to keep updated and debate the issues.

Agreed

There was a time in america that the democrats were the party of and the republicans party was the party of limited government.

As the years have gone by the democratic party and the republican party were infiltrated by members of David Rockefeller's Trilateral Commission. Founded by globalist David Rockefeller, Jimmy Carter and Zbig Brzezinski were members of the executive council. Under the globalist administration of hillbilly Billy Jeff Clinton, NAFTA legislation passed the house and senate thanks to many republicans...
It was these hand picked globalist of the Trilateral commission that began the de-industrialization of america.

The Oligarchs of banking and big oil bought off most of the career politicians in the house and senate and that is why no matter who we vote for things in america get worse and worse. Until we learn that voting republican or democrat is the cause of our troubles we will never be able to restore america to her former greatness.

the problem is

that most voters still vote straight ticket without even looking at the names of the people they are voting for.

Yeah but you can be certain, in the end, they will vote R or D

after the cable news networks instill the fear of "the other party" winning if you don't vote for who they claim the front runner is, and that you are only wasting your vote if you vote for anyone else, risking that "other party" winning.

And the sheeple will fall in line once again, herded back into the R and D corrals by fear, to the next same-old establishment "front runner" candidate that has been chosen for, and served to them by the media and rigged, bogus polls, to get their heads pushed into the fence and continue being violated by these self serving corrupt establishment parties yet again.

Or they will vote for the "I" candidate who is really only another neocon R or socialist and gun grabbing D in disguise because their research on candidates went no further than what the f'n Cable TV News said.

Great, but will they walk the talk

We shall see if this sentiment translates into substantial vote counts for any non-establishment/3rd party candidates. Not holding my breath.

I'd like to see the specific questions that were used

And a more detailed break down of people's party affiliations. Having read those a bit in the past helped me find clues and trends that the overall summary leaves out.

I wonder how many of the 47% remaining Tories are either IN government employment and the industries beholden to them, or just into their last desperate denial that the political ladder they've worked so hard to support, and climb, is leaning against the wrong wall.

Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them. - Frederick Douglass

OK, it might be

a step in the correct direction, but you know that 98% of those who actually go out and vote will still vote R or D. I don't think THAT much will have changed between 2012 and 2016. Even if they do, the electronic voting machines will do their thing and we'll get another Clinton or Bush type as president.

What Does This Mean For A Rand Paul Run In 2016?

It means he can win and win BIG....
