False Inflation Alert: Frontier Airlines to Charge Extra for Over Head Bin Storage

Frontier Airlines Monetizes Its Overhead Expenses by Charging for Overhead Bin Space on it Flights

Frontier Airline announced today that it will charge for overhead bin storage on flights.

The overhead bin surcharge will add to the cost of travel, but of course, it won’t be considered price inflation because the Consumer Price Index covers airline tickets only, even though airline are making an increasing percentage of their revenues from charges other than ticket sales.

Can only fly JetBlue or Virgin now. The coach seats are larger on JetBlue than normal planes and their first checked bag is free. Virgin's entertainment offerings are far better than any other and their planes are nice, clean, and newish.

I used to fly Southwest but they are the McDonald's of airlines. Their planes even smell like the Playplace ball-pit.

Ain't the pennies; tis the smoke!

When the smoke clears, tain't nuttin left.

I have an international

I have an international flight coming up on Frontier, and I can confirm that we have been advised about the $20 fee for carry-on's.

We also have to pay for each item of luggage we take.

This differs from previous international flights in previous years.

Typically they at least give you 1 bag for free if leaving the Country.

Apparently not now tho.

Thanks for the intel

Is it still cheaper with the surcharges than flying with other carriers?
