My son has cancer

My 5 year old son was recently diagnosed with fibro sarcoma. After much unnecessary delay he has finally been admitted to a good hospital, but its also 30 miles from where we live, and traveling back and forth has taken its toll on the little savings we had left.

On top of this, I also just recently lost my job and health coverage. My wife was lucky enough to get him added to her policy, but now she is just working to pay for the insurance, and all of our bills have fallen behind.

I'm normally not one to ask for help, and have always been independent and able to support my family with ease, but under the current set of circumstances I feel a need to reach out for help before we get too far underwater.

I have setup a donation page for my son, along with a bit more detail on our story at the link below. I would be honored if you could possibly share it on your Facebook or twitter account, and ask others to share it as well. Every single donation no matter how small will help in a tremendous way. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you pray for us and add us to any prayer lists you know of.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

God Bless

and start to garden indoors, you can utilize what you produce and sell what is left over, people always like locally grown stuff. Look into it. God bless you and many prayers for your family.

remember also

it is gonna suck a bit, but try to go on an all raw food diet of all veggies for a bit, nothing cooked, nothing GMO, which means meat will be out of the question. You may be able to supplement a couple days of organic rice and beans into the mix and can add some really good organic veggies to it for a cooked meal, it actually is really delicious if you use some black beans and rice cooked with some organic cold fresh romaine lettuce, cucumbers, onions, and whatever other veggies you want to add to it. Definitely stay away from fast food or processed stuff. Rice and beans can be a great meal with alot of organic veggies added to it, as your son is young it may be a little rough on him to change his diet up so extremely as kids should be able to be kids and consume whatever their hearts desire while young. Meat is a definite must to pull out of the diet though I believe because it will take his body alot of energy to digest meat, so you want his body to not have to digest meat and to focus on healing itself. Digestion I heard takes 75% of our bodies energy, so if you can give your son's digestive system a break, it will allow his body to focus on fixing the problems inside of it at this time. Meat is very rough on the body. Go raw organic food as much as you can but supplement some cooked rice and beans in the mix and ride it out for a bit. Hope that helps and I hope it is worthwhile info based on my limited understanding and my lack of following what I am preaching, but if I am faced with the same dilemma I will do the same. God bless you and your son and family, many prayers for you all.

Wow, I am truly humbled,

Wow, I am truly humbled, honored, and amazed at the number of descent people out there in the world. Words can not express my deepest gratitude and love for each and every one of you, as you have restored my faith in humanity, and I can not thank you enough for the hope and support you have given my family and I.

Many of you have also caused me many sleepless nights as I pour over every word of the vast amounts information you have provided, and the more I read, the more hopeful I become. I have decided to give the CBD oil a try, and already have some on the way.

Quick Update: My son was released from the hospital yesterday for the next 14 days, but is scheduled to head back after this for more chemo. He is eating, but still weak and must be kept in a sterile environment for awhile. My goal/hope/desire is that this oil will rid him of the tumor, or at least have a severe impact on it before the next appointment. I will begin keeping a detailed log/photo journal of his progress in between chemo treatments using only the CBD. I am both hopeful and excited about this, and cannot wait for the oil to get here.

Again, thank you all for everything you have done. It has really made a tremendous difference for us, and I will keep you all updated on his progress!!

Thanks! God Bless!

There is gene therapy

Hi there,

I have been studying gene therapy, which reprograms the anti-bodies to detect the cancerous cells. Basically since cancer cells is a mutated cell, the body thinks there is no problems. Anyways it might be an option. Some people it has completely cured them without radiation or surgery.

Anyways keep in touch with your story. I'll let you know if I find anything else that might be helpful.

Thanks Smither! Yes, I

Thanks Smither! Yes, I believe Dr. Berzinsky(sp?) in TX was working with something called Antineopeptides.. which seemed to have an amazing affect on certain types of cancer. I have not had a chance to contact him yet however.

He has age on his side

Children heal much better than adults and it sounds like you are now at a great hospital. My two cents of medical advice is that your earlier experiences are not a fluke. Avoid local hospitals--always go to university hospitals and for something serious, always the best university you can find. The smartest doctors are at the better university hospitals. Also remember you are paying your doctor for mainly 4 things: diagnosis, treatment, disclosure of risks, and prognosis. A good doctor will document and imagine the current state of the disease in your son (diagnosis), know the treatments of the disease well enough to put together and answer any questions you have about a treatment plan, and to do the risk assessment of each treatment and discuss that with you. They should also know their disease well enough to know what the usual prognosis is. One of the tools they use for all this is dynamed http://dynamed.ebscohost.com/. But its not free.

Thanks Mark! Yeah I wish I

Thanks Mark!

Yeah I wish I would have known that in the begining. The difference between where we are now and the places we've been to before is night and day. I only wish I would have gotten here sooner. But, it is what it is, and we have to move forward from here.

Dont overlook the dynamed resource

I hate to keep pushing a branded product but it will save you hours on the internet and it does have a 30 day free thing (I never tried the competing software). Signing up for free worked for me but if it doesnt work for you I will give you the username and password I set up. Dynamed is the google of medical standards, practices and drugs.. just google your disease and it should walk through all research on the topic. Some will be scary and some will be relieving. But bring your research as questions to your doctor if hes really good he'll have thought about it already or have a good response to it.

Thank you for opening up about your situation, I feel for your family. My good buddy recently passed from Cancer of the Stomach, unfortunately he was in Stage 4 before he could explore the wonders of THC, CBD, and the entire Cannabinoid system. He reached out to me a few weeks before to see if I would be able to obtain a caregivers license here in California to get him some Rick Simpson/Phoenix Tears Oil.

I ended up doing days upon days of research. I was astonished at all of the studies I have found, from actual research hospitals, and also the success stories of Rick Simpson Oil. After I obtained my caregivers recommendation, I found a company that makes it the real Original way that Rick Simpson Oil. This is 'Whole Plant' (Including THC) extracted with pure grain alcohol.

The place we found was actually a mail-order company, I don't believe they even sold any flowers or anything. The lady I was in Contact with was so very nice. I told her the entire situation and she bent over backwards to make sure we got the medicine for "whatever we could afford". This was amazing and much appreciated, as my buddy had no insurance whatsoever and at that point was only recently put on Medicaid.

I must warn you that an entire treatment is a VERY large amount of oil. In the range of 40-60 Grams. I don't know what you and your family's feelings are as far as psychoactive effects/quality of life (with the sleepiness), but i urge you to research this more. It is so promising and I have no idea how the Feds can still say this has no medicinal benefit.

Please let me know if I can help you with finding resources or anything as I know your hands are tied being in Florida with these types of alternative medicines.

God Bless

My heart aches for you and yours

I would never tell another what to do regarding a life threatening illness of themselves or a loved one. However, I would tell them my family's story. My six year old son completes Kindergarten with 100% attendance record (1997). Two weeks later he is diagnosed with APML an adult form of Leukemia. Straight from pediatricians office to Stanford hospital. The nightmare takes hold fast and hard. The battle lasts 5 long years in which his mother and I divest ourselves of our successful small business we started 14 years before. They almost kill him in the first 30 days. They don't pay attention to his symptoms common with a drug they have never used before. All that was required was a diuretic to prevent death. Life support in the PICU, all medication for his leukemia is stopped. Eventually he resumes his chemo and they tell us that he is in remission which we discover is not true. During this 'experience' we wake up quick and realize that we need to find out as much as we can about treatment options. The Chinese are having success with arsenic trioxide. Our doctor at Stanford gives us lip service but when the relapse is official he will only offer the standard chemo with 15% chance of survival. To top it off they threatened our parental rights.

We found a doctor/researcher in New York that has used the Arsenic on about 30 people and 3 children. Results are mixed but better than 15%. Arsenic puts him into remission in 40 days. He gets 5 more treatments in San Francisco and an autologous stem cell transplant. He is now 23 years old with a Master of Physics degree. Needless to say we Homeschooled him through high school. We consider ourselves nothing but fortunate. Worst thing and best thing that has ever happened to us.

I guess my point is to learn as much as you can about the disease, the treatment options, and the side effects of the treatment options. Go to your local medical library. Find out about treatment options. Call the doctors that are doing the research wherever they are. Believe me, they will talk to you. Never leave your child unattended in the hospital. He needs someone who loves him to be there at all times. Be strong, be positive, and take one day at a time. You have our best wishes and prayers.

Thanks for sharing that - it

Thanks for sharing that - it really touched me. I had not heard of the arsenic treatment and am intrigued. Glad you had a good outcome - I'm also glad that you were able to get through your parental rights situation - which could have also been another death blow to your family if they got their tentacles into you.

All good things..

and best wishes to your little boy~

Run from the cure! Don't walk

Allopathic medicine killed my son. I watched him be mutilated (surgery), poisoned (chemo) and burned (radiation). They scared me by telling me if I don't consent to these things now, he would die.

Unless my guts are spilling out from my body, I will never ever go to a hospital or conventional MD ever again.

Seek out natural treatments for your son and save him the pain. There is a wealth of info. someone posted here awhile back.

As a supplement to your treatment plan, give your kid two drops of this every day, 1 drop 12 hours apart:

I know it's ridiculously expensive, but this is the stuff that works. It's basically Rick Simpson oil without the psychoactive effects. Many of the antitumorigenic properties of cannabis come from CBD (cannabidiol). It will help prevent metastases.

A few research articles on it:

With this stuff, you don't have to worry about your kid getting high. It does NOT have any psychoactive effects.

Don't go with the cheap stuff, you need a concentrate like this stuff.

If someone has 500 to donante, buy the guy a tube of this stuff and have it sent to his house.

I am seriously considering

I am seriously considering adding CBD to his diet. Not sure if it will interfere with the treatments he's already been given though. Anyone know of any adverse side-effects or interactions with chemo drugs?

I'm not a medical expert, but

I'm not a medical expert, but I do know that many cancer patients consume cannabis with their chemo because of its strong anti-nausea properties. Because of this, I highly doubt CBD oil will cause any adverse reactions.

It should be noted that Rick Simpson says the curative properties of the cannabis oil he produces are reduced when a person is on chemo.

If it was my kid, I'd give him the oil.

I am right there with you.. I

I am right there with you.. I can't wait for it to arrive.. If this works as well as I think it will, I'm going to become a huge advocate for it and try and help others. See is believing.

That's great news

That's great news to hear. I hope your son's cancer responds well to the treatment.

The first paper I linked noted that 10mg per kilogram per day was used and administered orally over a six week period, and resulted in preventing lung cancer cell invasion.

For a 50lbs kid, that's 220mg of CBD per day. Given the tube contains 1,550mg, that's only 7 days worth of treatment at that concentration level.

This kind of treatment is expensive, so I looked around on the web. You can order in bulk from Real Scientific directly for a better deal.

They sell higher concentration 6 Ten Gram 18% tube packs for $2500.

The six pack just happens to be the right amount for a treatment course. If your kid is around 50 lbs, that would be about a half gram every 12 hours, each tube lasting 10 days. So you want to use about 1/20th of the tube each dose.

If you are worried about toxicity, the paper notes:

"Its low toxicity is certainly a good starting point. CBD behaves as a non toxic compound; indeed oral administration of CBD 700mg per day for 6 weeks did not show any overt toxicity in humans [59] suggesting its possible exploitation for prolonged treatment."

At any rate, it's a hell of a lot less toxic than traditional chemo.

*disclaimer - I'm not a medical expert and this is not a medical recommendation, this is simply information I've obtained from a third party and I'm sharing it for informational purposes only.

If I had to do it again,

This is the way I will go, along with changes in diet, lifestyle.

Yeah, if you're an adult,

Yeah, if you're an adult, it's better to use high CBD regular hash oil with the THC included, because the THC also has antitumorigenic properties.

The pure CBD oil is good for those who can't tolerate being high all day, but it's not as effective.

If it was me, I would get myself a pound of high THC cannabis buds and make my own Rick Simpson oil, and then supplement that with CBD oil as well. Supplementing the THC oil with CBD oil also has the benefit of dialing down the psychoactive effects of the THC.

Like you, this would be my first line of treatment, not the last. I would do it and then monitor how the cancer responds to it. I would only turn to surgery, chemo or radiation if the cancer didn't respond to the cannabis treatment.

Hello Robbie's father

a parent's nightmare. My condolences.

I'm with ABBA. I would investigate shots, exposure to chemicals and heavy metals and THE FOOD WE EAT.

The 2 pictures of Robbie I saw were with processed, good tasting food. Popsicle and bread. And crackers. The fact that hospitals allow or support Popsicle in the building should be a warning sign.

I would also look at you and mom. The theory is our children "inherent" our nutritional deficiencies and a hair analysis would easily show that. I use Dr Larry Wilson.

Dr Wilson says we are almost all way deficient in minerals.

Iodine too.

Good luck folks.

Considering I just wrote

My ex basically what was left of my savings so she could pay off he credit cards. I think I might cancel that check. (She lent me 800$ from a credit card 2 years ago and never paid on it(3400 now in interest and 750$ minimum payments) - I'm a man of my word and a damned fool)

CC's are for pure idiots.

Keep this updated. I promise I will work next week and send you money. I have enough for myself and my family. I cannot imagine the pain, and I won't try.

All I would ask is to keep us updated.
