I'm sure this infographic is skewed toward or against certain countries, but still very interesting. Its a comparison of how kids of different countries compare in different areas, such as safety, freedom, health, etc.

The most striking stat to me was the suicide rates

They are the highest in the colder areas of the world.

I also found it ironic that US was listed 2nd most "free" country but yet today I find out that Snowden says our government spies on us more than our enemies. Go figure.

As a result, there are very high rates of alcoholism, depression and suicide.

But the summers are short

All those people up there need to be educated on the health benefits of Vitamin D absorption, it comes naturally from the light the sun shines on our bodies.

I guess freedom means having access to that knowledge? They surely don't.
