The challenge: staying grounded in a virtual world.

It helps knowing that most of what we experience could be gone in a flash. Don't give up on face-to-face communication. Try having a conversation with someone everyday.

I enjoyed this

He's the man.

Wait watch it once then throw away your phone and get everybody else to do the same!

Great now nobody is communicating. Now we need phones. The iPhone5 is coming out! Which is awesome because I can subscribe to this guy's youtube channel so he can tell me not to watch it anymore.

Heck, he has an aristocratic Brittish accent, it really doesn't matter what he says, it just sounds good.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Who will be our next President?

Holy phreaking cow!

27M????? OK I guess this is a meme. No surprise though.

At Paulfestival in 2012 we did something pretty rare: we actually had 3 days of actually living together, eating together, camping together and I realized our young people like the liberty philosophy but what they really are hurting for, without really knowing it, is a LIBERTY LIFESTYLE and TOGETHERNESS IRL.

This is a need all people have, to dwell together in harmony but it's getting more pronounced with all this electronic communications and distance.

Think about how we put that to work.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

The Sheeple prophecy

is being fulfilled.

Start them young with iPads, standardized testing and Common Core.
And when they are old they will no depart from it.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

Loved it!

I am Ron Paul

Great video

I think the message to take away from this is moderation, something a lot of people in society lack.

If ignorance is bliss, Washington DC must be heaven.

I agree with ya 100%

I agree with ya 100%

What bs

How many people here were completely isolated and abused by this system before we could find each other?

If he is trying to say go outside to meet people.... What does it matter - our brain doesn't see the difference. However going outside to get treated like shit to most of the world is just downright bad for us. (To be fair I had to explain to a diversity class last week that the n-word is so offensive that I think it shouldn't be said at all becuase of it's negative power.*not banned* I was roundly shut down and called tacitly ignorant, and explained to why it's ok for ONLY black people to use the word. Yes, I tried saying making something exclusive on the basis of skin color is racist, and to crickets none-the-less. Why in the world unless I'm forced would I want any part of this system, most people are just on average not that bright)

Go and join a group, and definately do not think for yourself.

I can see why you feel this

I can see why you feel this way I have many times felt the same way.
One thing I could say is, if you physically went before your peers and proclaimed what you did,
There is no way you didn’t plant the seed of common sense and justice in at least one of those people.
Maybe many more than you realize. You definitely exposed their ignorance and their F.B. mentality.

Congrats to the girl in

Congrats to the girl in pink...she has a chance...the others, not so much.

The girl in the pink just ran

The girl in the pink just ran out of battery is all.

Back in the 70's,,,

when I was young we as in everybody watched everybody else. It was pretty good "real time" entertainment. Also was a great way of meeting

You were also more aware of what was going on around you.

As a kid

being taken to malls too, 'people-watching' was (and remains) great entertainment with human interest, indeed

They leave themselves open

They leave themselves open for damn sure!

I would

Not say that people who spend all day looking at their phones are dumb. Im also watching this vid on my iPhone.

Watching this reminded me of

Watching this reminded me of a few people I worked with in regard to the part about social eye to eye interaction skills. This one young man came to mind that was extremely intelligent with facts and information.
He grew up fully immersed in the computer world. He didn’t have much exposure to other kids and interaction that you learn social grace and consequence for being insulting to others. He had no chance of carrying on a conversation eye to eye that didn’t condescend or insult anybody he spoke with. No one liked this man at all. He was a lonely soul for sure. I use to tell him, don’t be so insulting to the people around you because they may not know the answer. I said many times, “you are a smart young man but, you failed sandbox”

I knew a man just like that, except it was books, not computers. Kind of reminded me of Henry Bemis and how he loved books more than his own wife, into he broke his glasses after he was alone from nuclear war. Sorry, been watching too much twilight zone

That is a classic.

He was alone on the library steps but could not read any of the books because his glasses were broken. I too would sometimes rather read my books than interact with people but then, I found the Daily Paul.

a little ironic

He should do tours to deliver this message in person.

“The welfare of the people in particular has always been the alibi of tyrants.” — Albert Camus

I know,, it's like

telling people not to eat cake while you have a mouth full of cake.

Not really

His message is targeted to those that are heavy into social/new media. Using youtube is the best way to target those people.

In contrast, if his message was that increasing the use of smartphones and new/social media is important, then in-person speaking engagements would be the most effective way of reaching his target audience.

Huh What... lol

Good vid

Really Good
