McCain to 'Young People" on NSA spying: “Something You’ve Got To Accept”

As reported by Eric W. Dolan in Raw Story, May 5, 2014. Young people of the Daily Paul, what do you think about this?

- - -

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) recently suggested that young people were upset with the National Security Agency’s surveillance operations because they had forgotten about the September 11 terrorist attacks.

During an appearance Friday morning on the Dan Patrick Show, he said that the NBA was right to punish Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. He also dismissed concerns that the racist comments made by Sterling were recorded without his permission.

“It’s the world we’re living in, you don’t like it, but everything I say I expect to be recorded,” McCain remarked. “It’s just the way we live. It is something you’ve got to accept. I don’t particularly like it, but it is what it is.”

The Arizona Republicans said many Americans wrongly believed that their telephone conversations were being recorded by the government, but he admitted the NSA had committed some surveillance abuses.

The Establishment is just going to have to accept

the fact that I am simply not going to accept tyranny. They are just going to have to accept the fact that nothing matters more to me, and that I will go to war to protect our freedoms if they don't back down. They are just going to have to accept the fact that if they continue to press against us in this way, their lives will be forfeit.

Somebody with time should make a John McQaeda vid

Something that shows McQaeda's B.S. comment about "accept N.S.A. illegally spying on you because 9/11 & al-Qaeda" contrasted with his Senate speech about "we have to support al-Qaeda in Syria" and other related imagery of al-Qaeda fighters McQaeda supports in Syria.

Here are a group of those al-Qaeda fighters, in a new vid, burning their passports and vowing jihad against nations outside the Middle East. Notice how many Saudi nationals there are, like what 9/11 Families & US Congressmen have said, that Bush & Obama have helped to protect.

The Independent, April 18, 2014 ⎯ Foreign jihadis in Syria pledge their own 9/11

It is only a matter of time before jihadis in al-Qa'ida-type groups that have taken over much of eastern Syria and western Iraq have a violent impact on the world outside these two countries. The road is open wide to new attacks along the lines of 9/11 and 7/7, and it may be too late to close it.

Effing P.O.S. McCain.

We don't have to accept anything just because he says so.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Looks are everything.

John Sidney McCain is not only a slime ball for what he did to his first wife, he also was made a "natural born" citizen by none other than Hillary & Barry. Two other people with similar qualities. Kind of like an exclusive club. The "citizenship" proceedings were done between April 10 & the 30th of the same month, 2008, so as to make him eligible to run for president. You know Obama knows a thing or two about becoming eligible for that same office he now holds. Hillary too. That's why she became a N.Y. senator & Secretary of State. Got to fill up that resume. Make it look good so that the sheeple will bite.

It's the blue haired country club republican retirees

that keep him in office.

Arizona is filled to the gills with over medicated country club republicrats that swill from the public trough for their medicare and social security checks.

Perhaps I see the logic of creator in making our lives temporary.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Out of touch old man he is

He really thinks that continually pushing the 9/11 button will get him anywhere in an increasing awoken America.

Hell, I can't even remember the name of the other guy who did that; running for President and all that ever came out of his mouth was "<noun> <verb> 9/11."

Ron Paul 2016

I would bring up the name of "I survived 9/11"

IF I could remember some of the very amusing nicknames that were made up. I know that here in the big ole city of Ada, Oklahoma we got to rally up about 20 people with huge Ron Paul signs and 'demonstrate' outside a visit from the '9/11' POS. He actually told the owner of the cafe he visited, also the employer to several of my buddies, that everywhere he went he was being mobbed by Ron Paul people. Good times.

But Mr. McCain...

Suppose we don't accept NSA spying? What if instead we accept a world without people like you holding any power? That would be viable alternative, and actually one that I'd like to start make happening yesterday.

Government by surprise...

“What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, little by little, to being governed by surprise; to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if the people could not understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Each step was so small, so inconsequential, so well explained or, on occasion, ‘regretted,’ that unless one understood what the whole thing was in principle, what all these ‘little measures’… must someday lead to, one no more saw it developing from day to day than a farmer in his field sees the corn growing…. Each act… is worse than the last, but only a little worse. You wait for the next and the next. You wait for one great shocking occasion, thinking that others, when such a shock comes, will join you in resisting somehow.” – Milton Mayer, They Thought They Were Free, The Germans 1933-45

McShame is not very convincing as a propagandist.

He is pro-war, pro-big budgets, pro-drone attacks, and now pro-surveillance of citizens. He is a national disgrace.

and I Do NOT Consent! McCain is wrong, disregarding the Founders and what they stood for, and has no knowledge, apparently, of why the Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution.

The Republicans sent me a request for donation

They made it out to be from McCain. I sent them a copy of an article about where the Arizona republicans censured him. I know they won't get the hint but it was worth a try.

That said McCain is a Demublican shill.

Good job!

I really enjoyed sending Ron Paul super brochures to Romney & the RNC in their postage-paid return envelopes.
