Boycott the Fed?

Say what?
Those gangstas was rolling dice for Federal Reserve Notes in the video. I guess those punk-a$$ homeys can't exchange constitutional silver dollars for 32-ouncers in the Hood.

When rappers start pumping silver in da rhyme, I'm down with that.

Excuse my feeble ebonics; I'm a novice.

hey they got the grill bro

silver isnt hip yet to the hip hop world, its gold grills that work for now. Silver grills, maybe you are onto something, but the fact that they are awake and obviously in the inner city, makes me happy. God bless these awakened ones and I hope they keep learning.

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!

I will never understand...

How the beautiful music of the past has morphed into something that makes me wretch whenever I hear it. How does one reminisce to vile garbage like this. To me, this noise only evokes anger and hate. It actually evokes evil and hateful thoughts in me that I normally never have. It makes me afraid that my sanity could so easily be manipulated by these terrible sounds. Don't think for a second that these low life animals in the Hood wouldn't disembowel in you a second just for being different than them. I don't care what their T-shirts say, they all seem to be filled with hate.

The language and images in this video has no place on the Daily Paul. Call me old fashioned.

Being Different

"just for being different than them"

And that, boys and girls, is what we call "projection."

Actually, they are just a

Actually, they are just a bunch of street kids with marginal talent that sold out to the rap industry and are doing nothing more than making tons of money for a bunch of rich white guys in a board room smoking cigars...

I do agree with you though. Once they killed Tupac and Biggie they had to replace them with something more culturally degrading.

I think Hopsin describes it best in his song:

There is still some awesome new hip hop out there like Atmosphere, Bother Ali, Sweatshop Union, Aesop Rock etc...

We all share this eternally evolving present moment- The past and future only exist as inconsequential mental fabrications.

I hate when people talk out of their butts

You don't know what you're talking about. At all.

Ok, explain to me the

Ok, explain to me the rationale for why rappers with little talent suddenly appear on the scene with endless hype and promotion and all have the exact same unintelligent content of clubs, parties and women over the same garbage candy beats other than to sell tons of records to mindless consumers who ride the hype and nod their heads without so much as looking into the lyrics or appreciate any sort of rhyme scheme.

When was the last time you heard Dilated Peoples, KRS ONE, Blue Scholars or Cunning Linguists on the Clearchannel controlled radio?

We all share this eternally evolving present moment- The past and future only exist as inconsequential mental fabrications.

uh....this is FANTASTIC.

Thank you. That shows real talent, creativity, smarts, a sense of humor (given as it's almost BRUTALL), this shows maturity and leadership.

Other rap I have always liked:

PUBLIC ENEMY
Diggable Planets
Arrested Development
Ice Cube

And I was around for that glorious moment when rap and punk rock collaborated. All the sudden we had punks and homies going to shows together. That's what I call a "thousand mile handshake". We all had to reach a LONG way to make that contact.

Again, thanks. You get my TOTALLY EFFIN AWESOME award for today.

You sound like a total moron

There's a lot to be said for

There's a lot to be said for that. You have to wonder how different the Black culture would be today if they didn't make this kind of music a centerpiece of their culture.

lol

Im sure Your parents said the same when they heard Black Sabbath.

OK so we have some cultural barriers here...

TMOT says african americans are kind of libertarian at heart?

I can see it in some black communities but not specifically urban ones. I'm not sure I accept the identification of the state as an enemy (which it certainly is to urban blacks) as libertarian, that's just apparent fact in some communities. You don't need ideology to resent abuse of police powers, that's pretty universal.

If there's any inherrant libertarian message here it's to the viewer. What I see is more glamorization of "the thug life" or "la vida loca", obsession with material wealth, objectification of women and intoxication. I feel bad that these young people weren't inculated with more of what we would term "self respect". However, to each his own. If this is the life they chose they are to some extent entitled to it.

Different spin on entitlement eh?

The front of the black and white shirt

at 1:18 on the kid with the bandana, is Aleister Crowley. Born Edward Alexander Crowley in 1875, Crowley was a pansexual, mystic, occultist, ceremonial magician, deviant, recreational drug experimenter, poet and accomplished mountaineer who was also known as The Great Beast 666. He founded the religious philosophy of Thelema which enforced an idealist, libertine rule of “Do what thou wilt.” The British press named him “The Wickedest Man in the World.”

When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign: that the dunces are all in confederacy against him. ~J. Swift

Crowley as I understand was

Crowley as I understand was into some pretty dark stuff. Jay Z has a line of clothing with Crowleys famous line on it. Jay Z is also know to be a puppet of the NWO agenda and pushes it in his music and videos. So they say.

TMOT has spent a lot of time...

TMOT has spent a lot of time in his videos explaining how the black community is really very libertarian at its core. I think if we could take the message of liberty to the hood, we'd be very well-received and find millions of new allies.

Another piece to bring up, the Nation of Islam also shares similarities with each group. Louis Farrakahn has given numerous speeches condemning the Fed.

At their inceptions, the #Liberty, #OccupyWallStreet and #TeaParty movements all had the same basic goal... What happened?

Not to mention...

That Farrakahn has actually said Ron Paul's name in front of his captive audience as the "lone voice in the woods".

Seen this vid a couple of times. Never caught the shirt. Good eye.

The message on the shirt was correct.
