Ron Paul says, "...disarm our bureaucrats...abolish the agencies."

Ron Paul made this speech on the house floor in 1997.

He expressed his concerns about,"a growing army of bureaucrats", and "resentment directed at the agents who come to eat out our substance".

How prophetic are his words now?

I love Ron Paul.

I really do.
I'd take a bullet for him.

But I believe Ron made the mistake of showing his cards.
He spoke openly about abolishing the agencies. And gutting foreign spending.

My generation was taught to learn from our parents mistakes.
I believe Rand has learned those lessons.
I doubt we will hear these memes from Rand...
Until he is elected as President.

That I believe is when he will show his hand.
And then Boom!

Some have criticized Rand for "playing politics".
I however, applaud him.

I truly believe that he will disband several federal agencies pronto.
And stop the flow of our money overseas.
Within a year, I predict Americans will have regained our wealth.
By retaining it. No, you can't have any more unaccountable money!

Concerns of welfare and social program spending will vanish.
A wealthy nation has no problem helping people.
As our wealth is restored, those dependent will become independent.
And the welfare/food stamp demand will decrease.

All we have to do is cut the wasteful, unaccounted for billions of dollars in "foreign aid".
And eliminate the wasteful, unconstitutional and useless bureaucratic agencies.
A huge part of our wealth is consumed by these two factors alone.
But we have to keep it hush hush. TPTB will not like this.

Rand will not spill the beans.
Rand will not show all his cards.

Stand with Rand.

We should follow those who

We should follow those who speak out of both sides of their mouths then?
I prefer clarity of speech and action in this time of universal deceit.

I won't waste my time debating with you. We've both made our case. Good luck to you and those who think like you.

God damn.

You guys seriously will not give up. Rand is going no where. It's not like we cannot all see what's going on. Go make Randpaulfaggots.com And see how many people come there.

Without Ron there is no Rand literally and figurtively. Ron won 11 elections count it. Rand has won 1. Ron has a fan base full of diverse activist, rand has a zombie brain trust. Ron has decades of evidence proving who he is, Rand depending on the year so far has been many different people. But most of all Ron wasn't trying to win - that was his mistake.

Ron thought we were all adult enough to not need a government teat anymore for us to be human. Ron demanded we accepted ourselves for who we are and to stand proud, not too relent just to play nice, but to dig your damn heels in and suck it up.

You will never win unless you become your enemy. That is their turf the faster you guys figure it out, the faster you will not become a target for debate on the merits of your politician. They make the rules -- the end. 2 elections down, and 0 lessons learnt.

without ron paul

there would be no movement, no website and no posts from you and me. he is a visionary and a revolutionary and history will recognize him as one the greatest of americans.

i have little or no interest in politicians who are part of the system, which of course is the problem. no, i'll save my applause for ron paul, the real deal.

and do you really think the establishment, the status quo, the MIC etc are so stupid that rand can trick them into thinking he's one of them? they invented the big con. did you watch the RNC? they will do whatever they like to have their way.

continue to spread the message of ron paul. think long term.

Hi davyc!

I Love Ron Paul.
I really do.
I'd take a bullet for him.

I too have little or no interest in politicians who are "part of the system".
I would like to believe that like myself, Rand Paul is not part of the system, rather an infiltrator.
(You heard the tune I wrote, "Politician"; you know how I feel!)

Are they so stupid?
Yeah, probably.
Nominating Mc"Aim" and Mitt was stupid.
Alienating the growing base of Liberty was stupid.

We elected Liberty members of the GOP are taking over.
Because Ron Paul said that's how we win.

Did we take over yet? No.
Did we lose the last round? Yes.
Are we ineffective, have we been quashed? No.
Because like yourself, we continue to spread the message and think in long term.

To all:
Join the real r3VELution.
Run for committeeman, county chair, state committeeman.
Join the ranks of those of us who are fighting the battle on the frontline.
The party is filled with former Liberty "Keypad Warriors" taking the challenge head on.
It's a numbers game. We need more numbers.

I'm not telling anyone what to do. (Liberty!)
I'm only suggesting. :-)
I love you all.

hi nomad

are you sure the GOP really wanted to win?

have you seen the latest power grab for even more old boy GOP establishment rules and cutting down the debates? rand seems okay with it.

i'm sure ron paul is pleased to see liberty candidates having some success, but when folks (especially youngsters) ask his advice on what they can do for freedom he always answers the same way/ i'll paraphrase: "Do what appeals to you. everyone has different talents. most important: continue to spread the message of sound money, personal freedom and peace.

i'm impressed with your optimism, and we are on the same page as far as spreading the message to everyone, but i feel the game is rigged and not until the majority of people get it, we're doomed. i see spreading the libertarian message to the masses as a long term goal. i'm not enthused with rand, although he does some good work in the senate, as for prez he's not someone i'd work, vote or raise money for. gary johnson (if he runs) sounds a lot closer to ron paul, while rand will be trying to distance himself more and more from his dad's ideas.

Let's take a quick trip
