MSNBC: Benghazi doesn't

MSNBC: Benghazi doesn't matter, rah rah rah
FOX: Benghazi matters, Clinton lied, people died, rah rah rah
Truth: Benghazi was an arms deal, there is no consulate, America is at war, shouldn't be there to begin with

Southern Agrarian

Nice.

In place of the word "Truth," you could have put the DailyPaul.

BooM!

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Trey Gowdy, political expediency.

I do not trust him one bit. Please feel free to share.

Well,

The NSA-holes had better track down who sent those threats!!!

When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign: that the dunces are all in confederacy against him. ~J. Swift

+1 for NSA-holes

Now we need shirts. :)

GOOD! Gowdy is a little worm and I've seen him in action on...

...C-CPAN several times.

The trouble with these rat bastard republicans is that they were all good with Obama attacking Lybia in the first place - with no declaration of war - and NO CONSULTATION WITH CONGRESS.

THAT is what Obama should be taken to task for - not for a retaliatory attack in Benghazi.

I'll guarantee you that if any country sent a billion dollars worth of cruise missiles into the U.S. that we'd attack their embassy and kill a bunch of them too.

The GOP is full of Arab-hating, Neo-Con, war-mongering HYPOCRITES.

They're using Benghazi as a political football only.

They could not care less about a loss of human life (which they seem SO "CONCERNED" about in Benghazi) as evidenced by the lives lost in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan etc due to GOP policy and GOP-led attacks on those countries.

Their dear leaders Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld are responsible for tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of deaths.

They're silent as a church-mouse on that though.

The NSA must not

have enough incriminating emails, texts, or phone calls. I like Trey Gowdy, he needs to be careful.

Perhaps look at his record.

The link is in my above post.

You believe everything

Freedom Works puts out? You've provided nothing but talking points.

Take the first three votes. I know the government isn't going to eliminate the Dept of Education, Commerce or the EPA (for starters). Harry Reid and his band of thieves would stop anything like this in its tracks. The government isn't going to stop with barricades around Memorials either. The government is coming after Social Security, Medicare and veteran's compensation. Social Security, Medicare and veteran's compensation represents trillions of dollars in unfunded liabilities. With the baby boomers retiring and all these wars, we should be able to see where this is going. Social Security and Medicare use to represent the third rail in politics, it doesn't anymore.

I don't know enough about the farm bill to comment.

Start reading articles on currency wars and the means by which the Chinese manipulate the Yuan. Start a currency war and consumer's won't be paying higher prices because there won't be much left to buy. As long as China can manipulate their currency, the United States is over a barrel. This is the "global" economy in action.

Do you believe your own ears? See how this makes you feel

Washington D.C., May 11, 2011 - Bruce Fein testifies on behalf of Campaign for Liberty before the U.S. House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security. The hearing was named, "USA Patriot Act: Dispelling the Myths". In this video, Fein fields questions from Rep. Trey Gowdy (SC-4).

During the full committee markup of H.R. 1800, by a vote of 22-13, the House Judiciary Committee voted in favor of extending the "business records" provision and "roving wiretap" authority until December 31, 2017, and to make the "lone wolf" provision permanent.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (SC-4) voted AYE to the extension.

Freedom is: not having to do what you don't want to do.

Yeah MC - Gowdy is a RAT P.O.S. and not a friend to the...

...Constitution. He's a traitor in my book.

Bruce Fein is excellent.

During the Rally For the Republic in 2008 I volunteered and was assigned to Bruce Fein as his assistant.

He gave a great speech that day, a few hours before Dr. Paul gave his historic speech in Minneapolis.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

We are listening to a debate on the 4th amendment

between Bruce Fein who represents the opinion of Justice Douglas who authored the dissenting opinion in Terry v. Ohio:

"To give the police greater power than a magistrate is to take a long step down the totalitarian path. Perhaps such a step is desirable to cope with modern forms of lawlessness. But if it is taken, it should be the deliberate choice of the people through a constitutional amendment."

And Trey Gowdy who represents the majority opinion authored by Justice White in Terry v. Ohio:

"There is nothing in the Constitution which prevents a policeman from addressing questions to anyone on the streets. Absent special circumstances, the person approached may not be detained or frisked but may refuse to cooperate and go on his way. However, given the proper circumstances, such as those in this case, it seems to me the person may be briefly detained against his will while pertinent questions are directed to him. Of course, the person stopped is not obliged to answer, answers may not be compelled, and refusal to answer furnishes no basis for an arrest, although it may alert the officer to the need for continued observation."

Terry v. Ohio was decided in 1968.

There are exceptions to the 4th amendment. Does one have an expectation of privacy when entering a public library, using a public computer to send private information or in the example Trey Gowdy used to download child pornography? In other words, is it reasonable for me to believe that if I'm in a public place, using public property, I have no reasonable expectation of privacy?

Do I think National Security Letters and Sneak and Peak warrants present violations of the 4th amendment? Yes, I do.

Articulable suspicion

and hunches don't count.

Freedom is not: doing everything you want to.
Freedom is: not having to do what you don't want to do.
~ Joyce Meyer

The liberty movement

started with reasonable suspicion and hunches. We've been debating it ever since.

Trey's record speaks for itself.

His freedom index is below 95%. It is below 90%. In fact, it is only 80%, which means 20% of the time he has dropped the ball.

Freedomworks and The New American seem to agree:

Lessers of evil?

Vote the record, not the rhetoric.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Sounds like democrats are freaking out...

.

Mark my words:

this is political theater. Lerner won't get a trial, nor jail time.

She's with the status quo.

I hope I'm wrong.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

You're right,

not the way the House is going after her. Eric Holder is in contempt of congress, big deal. Holding Lois Learner in contempt, and expecting Eric Holder to prosecute her isn't going to happen.

HOLDER!

I haven't forgotten about the too fast, too furious attorney-at-large.

General Perjurer

Executive Privilege needs to die a horrible death.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Interesting

that the only person who can claim executive privilege is the President. Was he named in the documents that were protected by executive privilege? He would have to be...

Obama "ordered it" for Holder:

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2012/06/20/president-obama-g...

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Which means

Obama had to be aware of the situation. As Judge Nap states, if this is the case, Holder perjured himself.

And boom

goes the dynamite.

I heart Judge Napolitano.

You know he would win all of the south/southwestern states if he ran...just sayin...

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

The good judge

has my vote.
