Let's remember that Beck and Ingraham helped unseat Cantor

That means a helluva lot in my book. They not only SAY they have changed their minds, they are also MAKING the change.

Actions speak louder than words, and they are proving themselves, in my opinion.

Suggestion for a new Liberty strategy (only if we want to win)

For everyone who is insulting and demeaning Glenn Beck... I don't give a crap what Glenn Beck thinks personally. I do care that he reaches millions of Americans every week, who don't know that they already agree with us on many issues. Many are still asleep, but more and more wake up every day. What good does it do our movement to insult people who FINALLY agree with us? I was a Neo-Con once, too.

What might happen if you praised and supported influential people and media types every time they agree with liberty principles and policies—instead of mocking, profiling, and insulting anyone who doesn't agree with you on 100% of the issues 100% of the time? What might that accomplish?

We cannot win without growing the movement beyond the DP or the Libertarian party. We cannot. We MUST reach out to people who are sympathetic to ANY of our positions instead of rejecting everyone who isn't sympathetic to ALL of them. Many of those people are currently GOP voters and Independents. Another big chunk of them vote Democrat. Millions of them listen to Glenn Beck and Rush and watch Fox News. Some of them read Jezebel or the DailyKos. A couple of dozen of them watch MSNBC.

It's not their fault that they don't know they're being brainwashed. Please stop punishing them for it. You were probably a clueless neocon or an ignorant socialist once, too.

Ron Paul builds coalitions with people, praises them when they see the light, and treats them with respect (even when he disagrees with them). In that way, Ron Paul has brought millions of people into the Liberty movement.

Why isn't Ron Paul's strategy good enough for any other so-called Liberty promoter?

Just wondering.

The Daily Kos

is the blogfather of the Daily Paul, FYI.

He's the man.

I've listened on and off

for years. I listened intensely through the 2008 campaign and into 09' when Beck showed his true colors. I guess you just can't explain it to people. They have to see it in real time for themselves but every time i tune in now and all i hear is "HEY look at me! the TRUE leader of Liberty/freedom movement! who embodies the virtues of the founders! But Ron Paul is a nutjob!" or "Don't support this grassroots liberty organization over there! Support this Neoconservative think tank funded astro-turf organization over HERE!" or "Don't support Debra Medina, support Rick New world Order Perry!" The list goes on and on and on....

The guy has operative written all over his face....and he still has yet to apologize for calling RP supporters "Domestic terrorists"....instead of apologizing, he basically adopted ALL of Ron Paul's talking points but with his Neo-con lies mixed in- and continues to bash the man....

You want to follow these think tank subsidized divide and conquer propagandists then knock yourself out.

Dog whisperer: Follow Cesar

Dog whisperer: Follow Cesar Millan/s advice and become a pack leader.

When part of the pack (e.g. Beck) behaves properly you can give this member a treat (dog food or a compliment in Beck;s case).

If the pack member misbehaves and bites back you make a correction and move on.

This is simple:
Good behavior deserves a reward, bad behavior calls for a correction.

So.....

You won't allow a guy to change?

How about we cut the 8th grade drama, and stop holding endless grudges.

How about when a guy agrees with us we praise him, and when he doesn't we correct him.

Agreed. Some of these people

Agreed. Some of these people are just as bitter and hateful as the people they attack. I occasionally listen to Beck and his rhetoric has changed, I'm not saying he has, or hasn't. But I changed. For years I was sympathetic to neocon beliefs but I woke up one day. If I can, anyone can. Do I know if he believes what he says? No I don't. But I do applaud you for giving another human being a chance.

______
"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."

First of all....

Thank you for the ad-hominem attack....comparing my intellect to that of an a 8th grader's...I might not be the brightest person here, but at least I know when I'm being pee'd on while everyone else is telling me it's rain...

Why stop with Beck then? Do you ever listen to HANNITY? Every other word out of his mouth is "freedom and Liberty" or "The founding fathers!" or "The ConstaTOOSHIN!" Same with Mark Levin...I guess they must have woken up too! Woooo-hoooo! Think of the tens of MILLIONS of listeners that are now part of the true freedom movement!

There's Limbaugh too....same deal, as soon as Obama got into office he just completely embodied the soul of the founders, much like Hannity and Levin...Heck he even wrote a children's book about the founders and Paul Revere- where he put his (limbaugh's) head on Paul Revere's body...It appears Limbaugh has woken up too! Hallelujah! There's another 20 million foot soldiers for the liberty movement! I'm sure they are all reading the Dailypaul now...

There's also Laura Ingraham, who literally put's "THE DEFENDER OF FREEDOOOOOM" in her opening segment! Laura Ingraham has woken up too! Look at all of these awesome, powerful, influential people who have "WOKEN UP"- i mean combined they must have 80+ million listeners! We're sure to win the Whitehouse now!............

Now obviously, I'm being sarcastic, but do you see a pattern here? Do you GET IT??? ALL of the A.M Neocon talking heads, at the same time, in unison- became "Born again Constitutionalists" and "Defenders of freedom" ...saying things that Ron Paul has said for 30 years but not ONE of them will give him a SHRED of credit...what does that tell you? I'll let you figure that one out for yourself but it tells me plenty and anyone who has paid close attention since the 2008 campaign knows exactly what I'm talking about...

So best of luck to you and next time lets try to have an open dialogue without the ad-hominems, ya? Fin.

He hasn't "changed."

He's just being what he's told to be, when he's told to be it. Just watch. When the time comes, he'll be back to saying Ron Paul is a nut and Rand Paul too and Aqua Buddha etc. Just watch. He'll probably try to tell his flock that Rand is bad and Ted Cruz is the man to support.

I dont give Beck a free pass

But I watched the video 3 times, and to me it seems they're coming out in support or Amash, Cruz, Lee and Senator Paul.

They even suggested that (neocon) Senator Hatch is whispering in powerful ears that these libertarians are bad..

Did I miss something here.... WTF?

Ugh

I understand Beck says some good things, (when he's mixing truths with lies usually)...and maybe this is one- idk, i didn't watch the video because I get sick to my stomach when I hear that Liberty movement hijacking, Teocon Ron Paul ripoff, divide and conquer, demagogue propagandist speak. I don't know how many times people have to be Beckstabbed before they realize he is an enemy of Liberty.

I think he's alright.

He was real good to Greg Brannon recently. Had him on the show 3 times and said Greg was the best candidate he ever interviewed, never stabbed him in the back like everyone was predicting. If you listened to Beck's show on a regular basis I imagine you would not say the same thing.
