MeshNet: A free, decentralized & open internet

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

Net Neutrality is NOT the solution

Nows the time to start educating people that you wouldn't need the government to regulate ISPs with "net neutrality", if the government didn't make ISP monopolies legal.

Yes, we can't expect Time Warner, Comcast, and Charter (etc) to keep internet lanes open. Too bad the FCC restricts who can provide an internet service, making extreme entry-barriers. Ensuring most towns are dominated by one ISP. If the FCC didn't restrict who could provide service, everybody would have a lot of ISP options. The ones slowing down or blocking access to certain sites would not survive.

Alas, the people are begging for a government solution to a government created problem yet again.

I agree but ending ISP

I agree but ending ISP monopolies is equally important and needs to happen at the same time as ending net neutrality for the whole thing to work out well.

did you catch the end of the video?

without intervention MONOPOLIES WILL FORM! Call your representatives. more regulation! Break up the timewarner/comcast merger.

how about get rid of that whole notebook altogether and allow the free market to bring people the services they want without government control? I would like to see that.

WOW....That's how it works...!!!
