That guy is freaking awesome!!!!

That was fantastic! I can't

That was fantastic!

I can't believe all those people surrounding him basically had a free ticket to watch that performance and many of them seemed to act as though nothing amazing was going on.

Wow! Quite an impressive performance!

...

Piano 2.0

This kid is the next level (didn't even break a sweat)

He could give Jerry Lee a run for his money

Booogie Wooogie you`ve been wrong to long ----------

Get right tonight. Uptight and outta sight.

It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people that pay no price for being wrong.
Thomas Sowell

What is his name?

Does anyone know?? He is amazing!! :))

Text from the page:

"Henri Herbert, keyboard player with the Jim Jones Revue (a high octane rock and roll band from London), gives an impromptu performance on the concourse of St Pancras International station, London.
He cites Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Albert Ammons and Pete Johnson as having influenced his style.
The piano he is playing in this clip is one of several that were placed around railway station concourses in London last summer, for any member of the public to play. Henri decided he would give an impromptu performance to help promote an upcoming boogie woogie festival

Jerry Lee Lewis is that you

Jerry Lee Lewis is that you ? lol

"If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin."
Samuel Adams

I love it when the younger generation discovers

their musical heritage. Time weeds out, the best lives on.

Notice how many times the greatest American music comes from an amalgamation of the races.

God was havin a good day when he created boogie woogie!

Sweet!

That dude can play the Boogie Woogie!

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

That was Unbelievably cool!

I loved the whole concept, "Play me, I'm Yours"

Fact:

the greatest talent on this planet will always remain lost lest it be consumed by the institutions that claim to promote and uphold its integrity of purpose.

Father - Husband - Son - Spirit - Consciousness

Amazing how virtuosity is in peoples face and they don't notice.

Jesus could be standing there and these idiots who are so predisposed with catching their train or whatever superficial pursuits they have would not even notice. Our society and world is so lost they can not even recognize elevated experiences. Maybe the world would be a better place without selfish ignorant humans.

That was great

But what's up with the people standing around. No smiles,no foot tapping, backs to the piano player.Very odd.

Thanks for sharing. I hope

Thanks for sharing. I hope Simon Cowell got a listen too.

How fortunate...

How fortunate there was a camera man handy at the time to capture the event.

The camera man even happened to catch him as he approached the piano, how lucky can you get?

I wonder if Mr. Herbert had anything to do with the piano being there in the first place?

May Be

But talent is talent.

Bump "...talent is talent..."

Note: It is explained the musician promoted himself for an upcoming festival and to promote the Local Community's idea for having the piano's set in public places.

It seemed a bit staged when folks wouldn't face him

Thanks for adding that note, oceanoz, as it confirms to me what it appeared to be. Nice promotion of a worthy idea!

Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them. - Frederick Douglass

Wow

That was awesome of him to share his talent with everyone....especially those who appreciated it.

Thanks for posting this!!!
