The Real Enemy - The CIA - it's who we're fighting

Heck, thought we were fighting the media, not so, it's the CIA. The CIA is running this nation and our congress.

Yesterday I watched live on cspan the waterbording hearing with Mulkasey , attorney general, When asked by the senator, "Why aren't we making a resolution to ban waterboarding and make this illegal?" His response,

"We don't want to send a message to the CIA that we will investigate their agents." I might add he was just as nervous and acted exactly like Alberto Gonzales.

No wonder it's been so hard on all of us. The CIA probably has a gun to the heads of the media too OR they are part of them.

My observation.

Eishenhower agrees with RP on foreign policy!

In US military and foreign policy, you don't get any higher authority than Dwight D. Eishenhower. From his “Cross of Iron” speech given in 1953, it is obvious that he and RP are in total agreement on foreign policy. RP would do well to ask the other candidates why they don't understand the wisdom of Eisenhower's foreign policy.

Is the best way of life to be found on the road the world has been taking? This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, is a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities.

It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population.

It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals.

It is some 50 miles of concrete highway.

We pay for a single fighter with a half million bushels of wheat.

We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people.

Addition Key Excerpts:
Any nation's attempt to dictate to other nations their form of government is indefensible.

No nation's security and well-being can be lastingly achieved in isolation but only ineffective cooperation with fellow-nations.

Any nation's right to form of government and an economic system of its own choosing is inalienable.

Deserves its own thread!

This is great! It deserves its own thread.

The powers work through many groups

if you assign responsibility for "power over humanity" to one group you are spreading disinformation.

Some folks blame it on CFR, zionists, cia...etc etc...the alphabet goes on and on.

The small group at the top hides behind these groups....the cia is just a bunch of lackeys. Don't bother to give them credit.

As far as the term "conspiracy" I have this to say. It is used by propagandists like Murdoch and Sulzberger to marginalize the truth and people who try and bring it to the rest of the world.

These men are not a secret. Their plan is not a secret. Their history is not a secret. If it is a secret to you, then, shame on you.

The implication of some is that this truth is a story made up by a paranoid fool.

Research will help you understand and make your own conclusions. Calling someone a conspiracy freak just indicates your own lack of research or your unwillingness to do the same.

Please refrain from calling someone a name for working harder at a subject than you.

I will repeat the cia is just a bunch of lackeys serving their masters. But what the hell do I know? I've been studying it for 40 years and am able to affirm my conclusions and the conclusions of 100's of thousands of others on a daily basis.

Appealing to Voters

You missed my point.

This material drives new RP supporters away. Knock it off. If we are to help RP, we've got to appeal to mainstream America, and they are repelled by these "conspiracy" rants.

There is a difference between winning an argument and making a sale.

Where it started.

In 1983, a plan, hatched by CIA Director William J. Casey, called for raising private money to sell the administration’s Central American policies to the American public through an outreach program designed to look independent but which was secretly managed by Reagan-Bush officials.

The project was implemented by a CIA propaganda veteran, Walter Raymond Jr., who had been moved to the National Security Council staff and put in charge of a “perception management” campaign that had both international and domestic objectives.

In one initiative, Raymond arranged to have Australian media mogul Rupert Murdoch chip in money for ostensibly private groups that would back Reagan-Bush policies. According to a memo dated Aug. 9, 1983, Raymond reported that “via Murdock [sic], may be able to draw down added funds.”

Operation Mockingbird did exist

And it was investigated. And George Bush senior pretty much closed that investigation. So say what you want about conspiracy, the fact is, these things have happened and it's not just an internet rumor. History is replete with these things and I heard about them long before I ever got on the internet.

I don't doubt the existence

I don't doubt the existence of Mockingbird, and other CIA transgressions. The CIA desperately needs to be reformed -- full, serious, top to bottom reform.

However, I do doubt the wisdom of driving new RP supporters away with these foamy-mouthed rants. Acting like kooks isn't helping Dr. Paul get elected, folks.

  • Has the CIA broken US laws? Yes.
  • Should the CIA break US laws? No!

It's worth noting they also do good and valuable work on our behalf. The CIA is a mixed bag, folks. Spying isn't a clean game, and an intelligence service is a necessary evil in this dangerous world. Dr. Paul does not espouse disbanding them, he has stated that he wants to reduce their budget, reforming them, and bring them to heel.

Yes, CIA....

...totally owns the media, (along with the drug trade) and is directed by the power elite. This is not "conspiracy." (operation mockingbird)

Many "journalists" are CIA officers, especially the "embedded" reporters.

This is what we are up against, so don't be discouraged about the media because there are other ways to get the word out. They even did it in Nazi Germany. Google "The White Rose." Watch the movie, "Sophie Scholl."

Get the word out today. Don't ever expect MSM to be anything other than what they are

Anderson Cooper's CIA Secret

Radar | September 6 2006

Anderson Cooper has long traded on his biography, carving a niche for himself as the most human of news anchors. But there's one aspect of his past that the silver-haired CNN star has never made public: the months he spent training for a career with the Central Intelligence Agency.

Following his sophomore and junior years at Yale—a well-known recruiting ground for the CIA—Cooper spent his summers interning at the agency's monolithic headquarters in Langley, Virginia, in a program for students interested in intelligence work. His involvement with the agency ended there, and he chose not to pursue a job with the agency after graduation, according to a CNN spokeswoman, who confirmed details of Cooper's CIA involvement to Radar.

"Whatever summer jobs or internships our anchors had in college couldn't be less consequential," she added. He has kept the experience a secret, sources say, out of concern that, if widely known, it might compromise his ability to travel in foreign countries and even possibly put him at greater risk from terrorists.

"He doesn't want to be any more of a target than he already is," says one Anderson confidante. On the other hand, as Bob Woodruff and others have learned, American journalists are already prime targets in the world's conflict zones, and are typically accused of having CIA ties even where none exist. And by not disclosing his training before now, Cooper has arguably made it into a potential issue. "It creates the appearance of something smelly there," says a former CNN official who knows Cooper. (Particularly in light of the period Anderson spent studying Vietnamese at the University of Hanoi after college. Soon after, Cooper apparently gave up his Bond fantasy to pursue a career in journalism—except for a brief period when he starred as host of ABC's reality show, The Mole.)

According to the spokeswoman, Cooper told his bosses at CNN about his time with the agency. But even if he hadn't, says Walter Isaacson, who headed the network from 2001 to 2003 and is now president of the Aspen Institute, it's not the sort of thing that would automatically require disclosure, since the stint was brief and far in the past. "I think what he did was probably fine and cool, and I've got no problems with it," he added.

May our efforts in support of Ron Paul's Campaign For Liberty be blessed with supernatural productivity and success!

I have to say..

I have to say that I cringed when Dr Paul said he would get rid of the CIA the other week. Maybe I mis-heard him?
We all make mistakes though. I think he should clarify that point soon as every nation has an intelligence agency, - even Switzerland!
Perhaps he meant to say 'get rid of the CIA people who are not working in america's best interest. That would reconcile quite a few misunderstandings me thinks.
Please comment on this guys and if a CIA operative is reading this you can post anonymously if you wish to comment about your role in this field and what sort of improvemebnts, if any, would you like to see at CIA HQ... Thanks.

We have the DIA

The Defense Intelligence Agency, which is part of the military. Ron Paul has said that he would want to roll the CIA into this.

It's a good idea. The CIA has never been an intelligence agency which keeps the US safe. They were formed to be shills for the elite, manipulate governments and keep the drug trad alive.

leads inevitably to a parallel government. Self government requires transparency, otherwise 'in the know' elites are created.

Paul wants to combine the intelligence agencies with the defense department.

Did anyone else hear him say this?

Or am I dreaming it?

Which would lead to a lot more responsibility

And a LOT less duplication/waste. I mean, does the USA *really* need that many intelligence agencies? Why not get rid of the most murderous/poorly-run one as we turn over a new foreign policy leaf???

I think you can get this sort of information from www.globalresearch.ca or the links on there. It doesn't help the election of Ron Paul at this stage but it's good to know regardless what is going on.
What amazes me most, although this has happened before in other countries before, - is that the people in the MSM are ordinary folk with partners and kids, family, etc, and they know what they are colluding to & yet censor Ron Paul whilst knowing that he is the best chance for better change and for america's external image abroad. The collapse of the dollar is not only about dodgy deals it's about america's political image.
The tourism trade must be suffering too I expect.
When are these so called educated media types going to start thinking for out of the box and promote what is best for them when they go home of a night?
