Operation American Spring: Militia Plans March On DC To Call For Removal Of Political Leadership

“They have all abandoned the U.S. Constitution, are unworthy to be retained in a position that calls for servant status.”

By Cheryl K. Chumley-The Washington Times Wednesday, May 14, 2014

A group of self-described revolutionary-style patriots with a million mobilized militia members are heading to downtown Washington, D.C., this week to bring a simple message to political leadership, from President Obama to House Speaker John Boehner: Get out.

What ever happened with this?

Any news on what happened? Final tally on the numbers that showed up, what happened, etc...?

Photos from yesterday

Not much on updates but here are some nice photos from yesterday.

Best page so far

Here's a good page also from yesterday. Where's the news? There must be thousands of cameras in that crowd.

Been looking for updates on this and not finding much. Links to photos would be nice.

Eagerly awaiting what happens over the weekend

Seems odd that you would claim up to 30 Million expected turn out. This was in the Washington Times. How do you calculate that?

The weekend will show if this has legs but it seems if people are working, how does this work. No donors to sustain a crowd of even a few thousand. Praying something significant happens in our favor. More decent only makes these thugs fall apart.

Instead of going to talk trash about rand.... :*** )

What a bunch of jackalopes.

As in, pretend patriots. They sound like of bunch of Tea Party morons.

If they also were going for Boehner, Lindsey Graham, McCain, etc... then I would give them some kudos.

It is all just a stunt.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

Pretty sure Boenner was mentioned

maybe you should use do diligence and pull up the list.

Nothing wrong with stunts for public consumption either.

Is anyone else noticing the stong presence

Of "anti-tea party" trolling on almost all articles today having to do with this event. I have followed a few of the characters from site too site and it's the same group of people trolling this and almost all the news sites. Good things peoples names are attached to either a facebook or twitter.

The government posters are out in full-force today or this country is seriously starting to show stress cracks. This is almost unreal.

This event like the bundy ranch in my eyes reveals a larger anger in the whole of the populace. It's more and more that people seem willing to cause conflict.

Yea I noticed

was watching U stream earlier of the "reporter" in the travel thingy and the comments were mostly trolls calling them rednecks and racists. Even the phone calls he was getting were messy.

"A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself within" W. Durant

It was like that

All day when I listened probably 1/4 of the callers we're talking like the teaparty is the most racist thing since george wallace blocked the doors to brown high school.

But I cannot understand why they would spend all that time unless I should really be pitying them. He did as much eventhough deep-down calling people racists is hurtful. I don't care who you are.

Be careful. Stay away from this. I smell a false flag attack.
1º) There is no chance this could end well.
2º) They could be government officials acting as "patriots" just to end up giving some racist rant to discredit the real patriots.

Agent Provocateurs?

That;s exactly what I was thinking.

...."Emperor"....Is this barrack obamas profile?

Be careful

If the feds plant someone to start shooting innocent people, make sure the militia grabs them first to get to the truth. If the Feds get them first, then the guy will get suicidal all of a sudden.

Not worried about that for once.

First of all, this action has been in planning for over a year. The organizers are permitted for actions to this point. This I know but can't exactly specify how.

Second, something I can tell you is a little trick we call the porta potty count. See part of what we happen to know is how you get permits for those specific locations. One part of greasing those wheels is we have to take care of our own crap. Literally.

Third, the organizers clearly put out their internal word about no guns. And apparently so far no camo. I see some people in BDU type stuff but as of recent there's a new awareness that camo is "uniform" under flag law, in other words it's "turnout gear" in other words it's the costume men at arms put on when diplomacy fails. In a sense, as unorganized militia we declare ourselves to be combattants by donning field colors. I labor this point because this standard is really about protecting non-combattants from the cost of war. The reflexive is that jeans and sneakers are a new symbol for "I am not here to hurt you, I am here in my role as a civillian".

Looking forward, this idea of an encampment? A long term "occupation" in DC? Uh ok guys, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooope. Not gonna happen. First reason is they don't and can't get permitting for that and second, the folks that secure those properties? Not only do they secure them well but they really really try to make those properties available to ALL AMERICANS both individually and in groups and this is prime season for rallies in DC before it gets deathly hot and smuggy. Ughy. Like other people have time shares there. And this one just doesn't have the feel of long term encampment and resistance, sorry, not seeing it PLUS,

as you might notice there's no broader support, no coalition building, no real press relations, no real finesse like our explosive youth movement brings. So this one is in a glass bubble by our standards so far.

Hey, their real action is scheduled for tomorrow and footage I saw was in the hundreds, high hundreds of participants. Not bad for a pregame.

Watch and absorb and we'll huddle up at points throughout.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Bump for speaking and standing up for FREEDOM!!

It is NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kind people rock

I'm not sure of the details, but I hope...

that they don't intend to engage in any violence. Study the French "Revolution" - where I use the quotes because nothing really turned around, as they ended up with an emperor instead.

The reason why the American Revolution was quite a bit more effective lies in the realization that it is not war, or violence in general, that changes things. Minds must be changed for a true revolution to occur.

If there's one thing that the State is good at, it's engaging in violence. Leave that up to them. It will be their undoing.

We will win by winning hearts and minds.

They wanna oust mconnell

Isn't that our guy ?lol

Be wary

and consider this...

UPDATE: See the end of this article to read part of OAS’ rules of engagement as Riley lays out what the “patriots” can and cannot do against the “Communist forces” that are ruining our country: “Bring Bibles and constitutions” – you just can’t make this sh@t up. I dare you to even try.
“When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.”
Operation American Spring is upon us, being led by a war-mongering “Gathering of Eagles” organizer (Colonel Harry G. Riley, U.S. Army (Ret.)) and a pure fascist ultra-Zionist (Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely) who recently visited the terrorists in Syria to lend them his support. It is their stated objective to force a regime change in Washington.

"If this mischievous financial policy [greenbacks], which has its origin in North America, should become endurated down to a fixture, then that government will furnish its own money without cost. It will pay off its debts and be without debts. It will hav

Uh... While I share the warriness about gov't plants...

I'm not sure what you're problem is with labeling militia group members rallying against the corruption in D.C. as "patriots", or the labeling the tyrants in D.C. as "communists". Both seem like reasonable labels, on the surface.

As for your claim that some of the retired military leading it are "fascists", I clicked the link you provided, and you simply copy-pasted what the article in the link said. It did not provide facts as to why they are claiming these guys are "fascists".

The article then goes on to rip Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, and Jim Demint, etc...

As for labeling one of the leaders of this militia movement a "Zionist", so what? Literally, what is your point?
What is your definition of Zionism?
Is merely supporting the existence of the nation of Israel, 'Zionism'?
If so, then I am 'Zionist'.

I'm really more suspect of the intentions of whoever wrote that article, and whoever buys into it, than of this 'Operation American Spring' itself. Though I hold reservations on the intentions of this thing myself.

But calling people 'fascists' baselessly, and trying to make it seem like anyone who supports Israel is evil, is just plain wrong and inconsistent with the goals and principles of the liberty movement.

what a guy...

Riley: The Iraq war was won quickly; the problem was a bumbling clean-up. The follow-on was handled poorly, politics as usual got in the way of practical decision making. In my opinion, the Bush Administration had poor advisors, made faulty assumptions, fell into the trap that wars can be won on the cheap, fooled around too long cutting tentacles off the octopus rather than hitting the brain, and worried too much about “world opinion”.
We should have been much tougher with Syria and Iran, maybe even bombing their military sites, industrial, nuclear sites. Instead we are viewed as weak, indecisive, and are paying the price in blood and lives. American leaders have not learned the valuable lesson that war must be approached with decisive force, and the enemy, wherever he is, must be pursued, confronted and destroyed.” Col. Harry Riley, 2007

Paul E. Vallely was the leading military analyst for Fox “news” during the run-up to the Iraq invasion. There was no lie this man wouldn’t make public just so long as it brought us closer to Shock and Awe.
He serves as the Military Committee Chairman for the Center for Security Policy , that’s a think tank founded in 1988 by ultra-neocon Frank Gaffney, Jr..
In 2003, Gaffney called on the United States military to “take out” Al Jazeera news network for inciting violence against the Western world by showcasing Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein‘s “calls-to-arms.”[16]
On March 12, 2009, Gaffney appeared on MSNBC‘s Hardball with Chris Matthews and accused former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein of being involved in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the Oklahoma City bombing, “There is also circumstantial evidence, not proven by any means, but nonetheless some pretty compelling circumstantial evidence of Saddam Hussein’s Iraq being involved with the people who perpetrated both the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center and even the Oklahoma City bombing.”

Back in 1980, Vallely co-wrote a paper called From PSYOP to MindWar: The Psychology of Victory. It is a credo dedicated to rethinking the means by which they employ psychological operations on their targeted audience, including Americans.
“shall rid ourselves of the self- conscious, almost “embarrassed” concept of “psychological operations”. In its place we shall create MindWar . The term is harsh and fear-inspiring, and so it should be: It is a term of attack and victory – not one of the rationalization and coaxing and conciliation. The enemy may be offended by it; that is quite all right as long as he is defeated by it. A definition is offered: MindWar is the deliberate, aggressive convincing of all participants in a war that we will win that war…”
“… Unlike PSYOP, MindWar has nothing to do with deception or even with “selected” – and therefore misleading – truth. Rather it states a whole truth that, if it does not now exist, will be forced into existence by the will of the United States…”
…Under existing United States law, PSYOP units may not target American citizens. 12 That prohibition is based upon the presumption that “propaganda” is necessarily a lie or at least a misleading half-truth, and that the government has no right to lie to the people. The Propaganda Ministry of Goebbels must not be a part of the American way of life. Quite right, and so it must be axiomatic of MindWar that it always speaks the truth. Its power lies in its ability to focus recipients’ attention on the truth of the future as well as that of the present. MindWar thus involves the stated promise of the truth that the United States has resolved to make real if it is not already so. MindWar is not new.” From PSYOP to MindWar: The Psychology of Victory.

Well, you make a good case...

...for not trusting these individuals as far and their pro-war stances.

I would say that is very good reason to distrust it.

However, I just wanted to point out that sometimes people just have a different point of view, or sometimes simply haven't 'woken up' yet, and not to judge someone's intentions based off of one issue.

Your post above does a much better job explaining your position, and giving reasons for it, that your original comment I responded too.

May these individuals be "fascists"? Very possibly. Any one who is a go-to analyst on Fox news is suspect I'd say, especially when pushing for war-mongering interventionism.

Could they be 'zionist'? Again very possibly, though that doesn't really mean anything in-and-of itself.

Best to know whom you know

And well. This state has fed sponsored militia, they go against the others around them
These will show up,and be your worst enemy.

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

Do you mean...

embeds? How could anyone tell?
I'm reminded of the original "Terminator" film..."...the first ones had rubber skin, they were easy to spot...but these are new..."

"The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them." - Patrick Henry

I know I can not be there but...

I plan to be by a major highway protesting the overreach of the government in support of "Operation American Spring" beginning May 16th throughout the weekend and maybe more...this should be done nationwide.

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they attack you, then you win!"

My Plan Would Include An Another Million Man Militia....

This was a similar plan of mine, with the exception in that I would have another million man militia ready to move in to replace the first group of one million after a few days to two weeks. They would alternate every so many days in a quiet non-aggressive way, demonstrating and milling around peacefully.

Personally, one million militia men are going to be enough and so I don't think the numbers are there now to make this work out, but one never knows.

My only fear is that government thuggery might instigate hostilities to ruin the peaceful assembly...
