Anderson Cooper Is Not A Man Of His Word.

Last night, Cooper promised Ron Paul an opportunity to speak about his record as a true conservative. I waited anxiously for this moment, but it never came. Being the gentleman that Ron is, he didn't make an issue out of this--but I'm going to.

The campaign should run with this. This, in my eye, is proof that corporate media cannot, and should not, be trusted as a credible source for political information.

We've heard all the lines--conspiracy, collusion, election fixers, etc. What I'm not hearing though is simple dishonesty--people who lie to the American public with no sense of shame whatsoever. How can people continue to trust the media for accurate news if they cannot even keep their word on something as simple as allowing a politician an opportunity to address an issue?

Wake up America!

that debate was a pile of crap

the moderators did a poor job. i noticed the above as well. the responses of candidates wasn't timed. mccain and romney went on and on about war. they basically ignored dr. paul. i watched a 1/2 hour of it and that was 1/2 an hour too much!

I don't get it

You guys act as if this is the first time this has happened. Every post people say that Dr. Paul was not given any time last night. Hello. It has been happening through, what 15?, debates. Every single debate this has happened exactly the same.

Only thing I can say is that it PROVES beyond a doubt just how powerful they think his message really is. They did it to a great extent to Huck last night too; but I think they choose someone else to ditz along with Dr. Paul so they can say that they "didn't single him out." They have done it- almost - to someone else at each debate. Like someone said. When it is just McCain and Paul, will only McCain get the questions?

I think Hillary has been chosen and they are letting McCain play the roll of competitor, but he knows it is just a roll.

For What Its Worth

Simple thought that I wrote to this guy Cooper after the so-called debate. Sure, it could have been written better!

A person could see how nervous all of you, the so-called questioners were until Dr. Paul spoke then you all were relaxed! Even your (the media's) favorites were much more comfortable! It was all planned out wasn't it! Amazing!
You all were trying so hard to get it over with, quickly as possible! Amazingly visible, I caught it! HERE IT IS: don't let Dr. Paul speak! Huh!

Time to push back. If Anderson is CIA and he were on our side he would remember the line from one of the best cold war movies, Russia house, "when your opponent is down, kick him in the [privates]."
If Huck, McCain, Romney are hitting their $ limits, kick them where it hurts. Prove the Dr. has staying power. Who gets TV time, even if it's an infomercial, the guy with the money. Do it now and keep doing it through 2/5. Stick it to them!!!!!

This 'gossip' doesn't taint Anderson Cooper but it does explain his position in society and perhaps why CNN chose him suddenly to move into the limelight.

As you may or may not recall Anderson Cooper abruptly replaced CNN reporter Aaron Brown (from 9/11 fame -- it happened to be his first day on the job with CNN) to cover the KATRINA hurricane damage. Seemed to me that CNN found it appropriate to replace one associated big-story-disaster reporter with another associated big-story-disaster reporter. Odd, but that's their business -- I just happened to notice the over-night switch. Suppose they didn't want us getting the two stories confused somehow. Go figure.

No more MSM for me, I don't care whether it's CNN, FNC, MSNBC, CBS, etc...They can all go to Hell. My main source for news from now on will be the Internet and that's it.
