It’s interesting to draw a parallel between Thomas Piketty’s new book Capital in the Twenty-First Century and the economics of John Maynard Keynes.

-Uniform global taxation, specifically a global wealth tax
-Confiscatory tax on inherited wealth
-80% tax on annual incomes over US$500,000
-Total elimination of financial privacy
-Overt use of inflation to redistribute wealth downwards
