Why I fled Liberalism — and became a Ron Paul Libertarian.

Why I fled Liberalism — and became a Ron Paul Libertarian.

I was a classic California liberal. Once I was introduced to the fact that the fed was just constantly printing our money and found Austrian economic everything made sense. Although I believe money is better of wasted here in the USA by forms of SNAP welfarism, and housing aid. I understand it doesn't work. But no one should be for sending or giving money to corporations like the military industrial complex, and others. Or buying weapons and tanks to destroy other nation that is not at war against us.

I was never sure about the life issue. All I knew was it's not my kid so I don't care. Most libertarian in California are consider as pro-choice. I would never kill my own if I ever have one. But after hear the logic of Ron Paul's defense of life, I was sold! "How can you defend liberty if you can't defend life". This statement repeats in my head when ever I think about the unborn even when they are not mine.

How about a Rand Paul libertarian?

Would Californians ever go for Rand?

I love in the poorest area

I live in the poorest area of California. Here it's hard to change ppls mind about how welfarism does not help them. I think before they come over to our side there has to be an effort of educating them. However I think rand paul would have a shot in ca just with the drug policy. Ca has illegal pot farms everywhere.
