I have a suggestion. Maybe precinct leaders in states that have had their primaries/caucuses could help out elsewhere. I've seen a bunch of people say they would donate more, but are maxed out. I've seen people say they want to help but their primaries are over. Maybe you could phone bank for someone in a different state?
Maybe you could donate to another great fundraiser that would support Ron Paul.
Make stickers and give them away for free!
Buy a billboard add on your major highway! There's plenty of ways you can donate not directly to the campaign if you're maxed!

If anybody is close to the campaign, please get this message out:

Make the precinct leader signup part of the donation process. Just get people on board right when they donate.

Also, HQ should be sending out emails to all donors asking them to logon. Just pre-create a password and tell folks their account is already created.

supporters today in my one precinct (pretty small) and have turned them into VOTERS. Did it take effort? You bet - we had to make calls and hit the pavement, we've sign bombed, we've emailed, we've myspaced, we've craiglisted, we've done lots. But we feel we have our precinct in the bag! We'll know in 2 days for sure.

Yes. I have been to my county court house and for $26.00 purchased the names of the registered voters in my voting precinct. The cost is per name so you would need to ask you county clerk how much it would be for your precinct.
There are over a thousand people on this web site almost every time I check here and I am sure some of those people are only on the site 20 or 30 minutes at a time.
So that means that a lot of other people keep logging on as others log off so, even if we do not count the visitors and the people from other campaigns. There are enough people that actually want to elect Ron Paul that we can make it happen.
We each need to buy our own list of registered voters in our precinct.
The list has all the names of the registered voters and there political party if any, and their address, and phone numbers.

We canvass the precinct and campaign for Ron Paul. Suggestion;

Have some literature in your hand. (I feel the slim jim is all you need)
If your are broke and do not have any slim jims or anything to hand them use this approach;

Hi I am campaigning. Have you ever voted for someone for congress or president that did not increase in taxes?

Washington now has a record 9 Trillion dollar deficit.

Have you ever voted for someone that never voted to increase the deficit?
Have you ever voted for someone that has never voted for a congressional pay raise?
Have you ever voted for a candidate that has never taken a government paid trip?
Have you ever voted for someone that does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program?

This year I am voting for a good man and not for the lesser of two evils!!

This is a door to door campaign not a campaign of the rich for the rich!! This year I can vote for a 10 term congressman Dr. Ron Paul!!!
I believe in Ron Paul because he has already been elected to congress for 10 terms, and he has never voted for a tax increase. never gone on a government paid vacation, never voted to raise the pay of congress and does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension plan. He has a good track record of keeping his word dosen't he !?
In fact he believes in freedom and the constitution so much, that none of the thousands of lobbiest that wine, dine, brib, and twist the arms of congressmen and senators even go visit him because he is not for sale.

I just signed up to be a precinct leader this week. I'm a busy person, as I'm sure most of the people who read or post on these forums are. I was holding off registering for a precinct because I wasn't sure if I would have the time, but then I decided that so many precincts (seriously - a bunch!) have no one taking even the tiniest initiative to get the word out...thus even if I can only spend a few hours calling, mailing, or visiting people in the 2 weeks leading up to my state's primary, it would be a heck of a lot better than nothing.

It was with that in mind that I went online and took the plunge - registration takes less than 2 minutes (for those not receiving the password confirmation email, check your spam folder, because that's where mine ended up). I was very pleasantly surprised to see that my precinct of 300-400 people had less than 30 registered Republicans. Yes, you heard me correctly. I only have 30 people to inform and (politely) harass over the next two weekends, which is do-able for ANYONE.

All of the contact info and instructions for each person is online, as well as sample mailings and phone scripts, and tips on targeting individual people on your list with issue-specific literature. I cannot stress enough the impact of ANY help you are willing to give to this aspect of the campaign. We're not asking you to donate 40 hrs a week to the cause - give what you are able to, and the campaign (plus me...plus the country) will thank you for it.

BTW - this is my first post on DailyPaul, after many months of "stalking." Glad to be a part of the revolution, even if in a humble way.

Dr. Paul's HQ can easily run a query and re-allocate passwords to primary email addresses, forcing them to at least the opportunity in signing up...

Target and market to individuals who have not signed up as a precinct leader with endless emails.

We need to keep this forum subject at the top of the list, it is too important!!! GET OUT ON THE STREET!!!
