"Who is Ron Paul?"

And I win $200 and get to choose next category. I figured a comment with a title like this will get noticed here.

It was a $1000 question.

Those are the hardest kinds of questions in life.

Yeah, a $1000 question is

Yeah, a $1000 question is supposed to be more obscure than a lower value question, that says something.

The first guy answered Romney, how very very wrong.

Final Jeopardy the very next day - check this out

If you are a Ron Paul supporter you will probably know the answer to this question, and you can pat yourself on the back and feel smart about yourself since none of the other three contestants were able to give the correct response. Interesting that this was the Final Jeopardy on the very next episode after a question about Ron Paul.

yeah I couldn't believe no one knew

the answer. These Jeopardy contestants are usually super geniuses and it was so obvious to me I thought it had to be some kind of trick question or something. So I was shocked when I was the only person who was able to give the correct answer, that has never happened for me before, rare enough that I ever get Final Jeopardy right, lol.

Super geniuses, I don't know

Super geniuses, I don't know about that, more like super book smart. Book smarts and street smarts are very different. I knew the answer to that one even though I was born in '81 and have no idea who the guy named is.

When a person that has great book smarts can't figure out something simple, street smarts wise, that is when you tell them they are the dumbest smart person you know, lol.

yeah...

they've all been wiped from youtube...

Kudos to Katie for knowing: Who is Ron Paul?

Spreading the message anyway we can.

Watch it again.

She just guessed.

Mitt Romney?

How does one get on Jeopardy and know that little about politics? What a moron.

Wonder if Detective Darren will read the book?

God grants liberty only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it. – Daniel Webster

I was wondering that myself:

Who is Mitt Romney?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I love my country
I am appalled by my government
And just as important..
And just as important.. What's a "Mitt"?
Who is Mitt Romney?
Who is Mitt Romney? Derrrrrrr
The right question would be, WHAT is Mitt Romney?
This guy was first with what he was sure was the right response, and FAILED Big Time, eh? The lady who correctly replied, "Who is Ron Paul?", seemed a bit hesitant to say so, or do you think not?
She was SO right on at least two levels. First, she knew to connect the ONLY consistent Republican bold enough to have a firm opinion on the subject, with balls enough to write a book centered on that focus, and titled that plainly.
That guy didn't know what Mitt Romney was, is, or will be.
She, on the other hand, might have barely paid enough attention to get her facts straight, and win the money; only to lose the contest in the end to him :(
Who is Ron Paul? The right reply might be a plain-spoken Husband, Father, Brother, Friend, Neighbor, Public-Steward and Statesman, who simply does justly towards everyone, everywhere, as equally as he knows how; loves mercy as a holy pardon, not a compromise of what is right; and walks humbly in the presence of a God who knows us all so intimately that He weighs our very heart's and mind's intent, and wants more for us than we can even imagine!
Happy Father's Day, Ron Paul! May your fine example help ignite brush-fires in the next generation, as you've faithfully passed the torch on to all of us in this one.
Unfortunately,
"Who is Mitt Romney" Darren ended up winning. :(
