If the American people accept this and no one goes to jail...

and we don't demand Congress to do away with the income tax and move to a Fair Tax or Flat Tax (although income) to limit the power of the IRS, then we deserve whatever the government tells us we deserve and no more.

We all know these are lies

We all know these are lies because the IRS has a contract with an email backup company.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

Garan's picture

It's not a lie if..

..if you can get your employees to tell you something ..like the hard drive crashed, and you simply relay what was said.

..and if you "don't recall" verses "can not recall".
For instance, I'm not recalling anything right now.

..and "I have no information" is true if you search me now.
I don't have any.

..and.. just look confident and not guilty.

That's all I've got. I tried. :)

Looking to his left. Means

Looking to his left. Means he's lying. And he knows it. The whole IRS needs to be recycled.

Watch his eyes

Is it me or is he reading off a teleprompter?

buddy

This from Judicial Watch: Here's the law that applies to the IRS

In the first place, by law, the IRS is supposed to have a finite, failsafe methodology in place for protecting any and all emails sent by its employees. And it is all set forth in writing:

1.15.6.8 (06-01-2010) Security of Electronic Records

1. IRS offices will implement and maintain an effective records security program that incorporates the following:
A. Ensures that only authorized personnel have access to electronic records.
B. Provides for backup and recovery of records to protect against information loss or corruption.
C. Ensures that appropriate agency personnel are trained to safeguard sensitive or classified electronic records.
D. Minimizes the risk of unauthorized alteration or erasure of electronic records.
E. Ensures that electronic records security is included in computer systems security plans prepared pursuant to the Computer Security Act of 1987.

And email records, if they are official government documents, are supposed to be printed out so as to be preserved under federal records law. And if there is any destruction of records, it is to be promptly reported.

and evidence of mishandling, also from JW:

In April 2014, Judicial Watch released a batch of internal IRS documents (http://www.judicialwatch.org/document-archive/tag/irs-docs/) that broke the news that Lerner directly communicated with the Department of Justice (DOJ) about whether it was possible to criminally prosecute certain tax-exempt entities. The documents were dragged out of the Obama administration thanks to our October 2013 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit (http://www.judicialwatch.org/document-archive/judicial-watch...) against the IRS after the agency refused to follow the law and respond to four FOIA requests dating back to May 2013.

And in May 2014, Judicial Watch released a new batch of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) documents (http://www.judicialwatch.org/document-archive/irs-hq-foia-15...) revealing that its handling of Tea Party applications was directed out of the agency's headquarters in Washington, DC. The documents also showed extensive pressure on the IRS by Senator Carl Levin (D-MI) to shut down conservative-leaning tax-exempt organizations. The IRS' emails by Lois Lerner detail her misleading explanations to investigators about the targeting of Tea Party organizations. Those documents also came in response to our October 2013 FOIA lawsuit.

What happens when

What happens when an American citizen tell you all their "tax" data has been melted after their home computer's hard drive crashed?
This guy's face has total "bold face" lies written all over it, he's just making up crap as he goes along.
As far as I know....blah, blah, blah...
To the best of my knowledge...blah, blah, blah...
Congress sure knows how to waste their time, Action is needed in this IRS scandal...pronto.

He gets paid as long as his cover-up succeeds.

September 11 cover up -13 years.

JFK Cover-up 50 years.
Bay of Tonkin cover-up 49 years.
Waco cover-up 20 years.

There are more criminals in Federal Office than in Federal Penitentiaries.

Free includes debt-free!

SteveMT's picture

Correct. Just like Neel Kashkari was paid to do with TARP.

Both were very well paid spokesmen who once their purpose is fulfilled will disappear from the scene with a bundle of taxpayer money. However, I hear that Kashkari will be running against Jerry Brown in November. Who will the bankers be betting on?

Liar!!!

Investigate the servers and mandate the release from the NSA who stores every electronic tracking out there.

When if ever, will the Congress bring criminal charges up for all of the lying and treason that is occurring within all of these agencies and the President?

And another thing...

"Our IT experts said that no data could be recovered from the hard drive" !!!!!!

Are you kidding me !!!!!

Total B U L L S H I T !!!!

Even a first semester IT student KNOWS FOR A FACT that forensic recovery specialist can retrieve and re-create the data off of a hard drive...even if it has been demagnetized or even melted in a fire. The FBI uses this discipline all the time. It is almost routine.

Who the hell are their IT experts? Dumb and Dumber!

I would call in these so called IT experts and ask them some questions.

Ughughughughugh!

Heh heh! Government Experts...

X - Mathematical term for unknown.
Spurt - a drip under pressure.

And there you have it. A government expert =
An unknown drip under pressure.

But you are right.
HDD recovery may be expensive,
but it is a routinely provided service;
available everywhere.

99% of HDD failure is the controller, not the discs.
Recovery is simply attaching a working controller.
1% of failures are attributed to physical disc or drive damage
and few are unrecoverable.

But you and I know that is total bullshot.
What HDD? From the desktops? The local server? Remote? Back up?
We're not talking about her photos or docs anyway.
We're talking email, POP3 or HTTP.

It's out there, on multiple servers no doubt.
This goes beyond shenanigans.

They think an email is akin to a letter.
It is sent to their computer and they think that's it.
They have "it" in their possession.
It must only exist here! Like a physical letter!

I was talking to a friend on my cell phone.
I dropped it and it got ran over by a...um...let's say a police MRAP.
And that's why my friend has disappeared.
I had him on my phone, but it was destroyed...so...

I am

very insulted by this moron.

Do ya know what this guy did before he was head of the IRS?

He was head of FreddieMac.

The more incompetent you are, the higher you climb in the District of Criminals.

It's not just true in the the district of criminals

it's metastasized into every burg in the land

This man should be arrested

This man should be arrested on the spot. The most ridiculous lie I have heard to date. Who does he think is talking to? Zoolander???
Obviously he believes "the files are in the computer" The problem is too many of the American people are technical enough to know that is not how it works.
