What are your priorities? I want to end the Rothschild's reign of terror. For that reason I do not pump ANY money into the political system now. I threw a big old pile of money at the RP2008 effort, and learned my lesson. Foo. me once, shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you.
Got money burning a hole in your pocket? Start a local bartering club, host the website. Hire speakers to come, but make sure they are speakers with IDEAS that get people INVOLVED. This business of sitting around preaching to the choir and patting each other on the back is asinine. Buy a little plot of land and start a community garden. Invest your money LOCALLY in things that support the LOCAL economy. STOP sending money to the politicians. Think that is cold and hard? Go to opensecrets.org and look for these names: Lew Moore, Maureen Moore, Carol Paul... Have a look for anyone else on the paid campaign staff. These people did not donate one dime to the RP campaign. Maybe they know something you don't?

I'm still trying to figure
I'm still trying to figure out how a person can know if he's over the limit. I sent in several contributions and have lost track...
I wouldn't do anything fraudulent, folks, even if the law is unconstitutional (let's face it, 90% of the federal government is unconstitutional). I don't think that is going to help the campaign as much as it could hurt it (especially, talking on a public site about it). You don't have to go through the official campaign; I don't even assume their spending will be as effective as the private efforts are. Put your money in meetups, chipin, and so forth.
I'm thinking it's a $2300 limit per person in the primary, and again in the general. Is that right?

It's funny, I can't imagine any Ron Paul supporter even entertaining the thought of bypassing the limit. Not so much because they agree with it, as you said, it's a crock. But because we know Dr. Paul would never want us to do it, and we'd be ashamed of ourselves!

By the way: I think it is ridiculous to forbid some individuals abroad like myself to donate, but to allow this Mitt Romney guy to lend his own campaign so much money. We`re not talking about Saudi princes here. Those big guys find other ways to "contribute".

I've considered this before. What about contacting organizers of MeetUp groups and sending them money via PayPal for supplies to be purchased via a 3rd party- or, better yet, purchasing supplies (if that would make you more comfortable in knowing where your money went) and having them shipped to a MeetUp organizer?
Would that be a workable solution? I know a couple of local MeetUp organizers that would most definitely appreciate the assistance!

Believe that married couples can donate $2300 from the husband and another $2300 for the lady of the house or a total of 4600.
NH TV spots and newspaper ads
Please donate to these causes if you have maxed your contributions to the official campaign. 3 PACs raising money for ad spots in NH in addition to other great ideas for spreading the revolution!

If you have already reached the limit, yet still have the ability to give more, here's a thought...
Give $2300 (or whatever amount you have) to a friend. Then they can donate it to the campaign (you know, if they want to ;^).
You're allowed to give your friends gifts, or did McCain and Feingold enact an unconstitutional law preventing that as well? What your friend "chooses" to do with that money is his business, not yours.

You can't give somebody money to donate to RP under current law. Of course you can give a gift, but not a gift with conditions..

John McCain co-authored the bill, and I would bet money that there are plenty of supporters in his ranks that will be doing this too. If you think this would be unique to Ron's campaign... Please!
The point is, Ron isn't responsible for the actions of his supporters if he didn't ask them to undertake the action. He'd have no liability in this at all, and you can bet this practice is rampant in every single candidates campaign.
On the larger scale, the law itself is unconstitutional, forget about unenforceable. It was one of those ridiculous bills that was introduced in good conscience, but without a whole lot of thought. The term loophole (in the context of this bill) should be upgraded to "black hole", because the gravity is so strong it's almost impossible to keep from going through it.

Yes, I have a item we should put on Chip in. Its the DIRECT MAIL Campaign to ALL THE registered Voters we can find in Iowa, NV, NH, SC,
Fl, Wy. In the DIRECT MAIL CAMPAIGN we send out a personal "chain letter" about Ron Paul and a RP flier. The Post Cards are cool too.
I have already posted up info about the Direct Letter campaign here, listed the websites to get all the zip codes and voter names and addresses, yet I fear its not being done. The idea is if each meet up just did a 1000 letters. But no one has responded back to my forum and event post. Sadly. And Direct Letter campaign is the best way to get something of Ron Paul in a real Voters hands.
Therefore me and my Tempe meet up are ready to do it all...
we will do all the printing, buy all the envelopes and do all the envelope stuffing, signing the personal letters, and so forth.
Cost is only for US Stamps. .41 cents each.... 1000 letters is $410 in stamps.
We believe there is 650,000 names in those 6 early primary states we can mail too. Thus stamp costs is $266,500
We even have a Post Card Company set up and ready to go. Cost is only .24 cents to mail the post cards out.

A Way to Give More?
I reside in Vermont with my wife and 6 kids. Between family, taxes and the high cost of living in New England, my money gets eaten up pretty fast, so I have not been able to give anything to the campaign. Could something be worked out so that someone with money could give that money through me and my family? If it is true that I can donate money on behalf of my under aged kids, that's a potential total donation of $15,000. Additionally, I could probably get my 2 older kids to allow me to donate for them, bringing the total to $20,000.
The only problems I see is that I would have to declare the additional income, which would increase the income taxes I owe at the end of the year - if there are any takers, I will need to discuss this with my wife, who takes care of the taxes. Further, some way of assuring fidelity to the contributor would also need to be arranged. I do not know the law concerning this, nor do I have any ideas on how to assure contributors that I'm not running off to New Zealand with their money. Anybody have any ideas?

It's definitely illegal to funnel contributions of another through someone else. Best thing to do is check Chowda's site for PAC's and groups supporting actions outside the campaign.

If you have reached your limit, start funding the operations of your meetup group. You meetup group needs funds to be effective by purchasing billboards, yard signs, bumper stickers, literature, etc.
