I saw 8 RP signs on the way to work this morning, on the way home only 1 was left.

City workers took them all down, I know city workers they don't do anything without orders. So, what should I do?

Workers will have a hard time reaching them if you...

1. Place the signs very HIGH with ladders

2. Use cheap 8.5x11 and 11x17 color copy machine prints in the places where signs are vanishing. Cheap to replace quickly.

3. Or just print 7 large 8x11 letters in black and white (R O N P A U L)

4. Use LOTS of staples or glue

errr.. not that I am saying I have done this (I plead the 5th amendment)

We need a delete button for double posts. ;-(

I put up 5

I'm in S.F.V./L.A., CA and haven't seen too many of anyones?
I put a few just down the street from a couple hillary's, next day ALL were gone!?
I'll put up another one tonight. ;-) (and tomorrow night) (and the next night).
One on a freeway ramp was still there.

Put one on the street tree in front of MY House. THAT one WILL Stay!

I have a few extras and can make more on the laser printer at work if I need to.

"Stuffed" a newspaper rack too.

My signs in Maine are ALL still there for about 1 week now

I strategically placed them in high traffic areas where it's hard to pull over and cars are going too quickly to stop.

Ron Paul 2008

Same location, Ive had it!!

. I have a plan, I have been playing sign there, sign, gone for 8 days straight on a road that vees off and its always the same I put it out and its gone after work. That means who ever is taking these signs travels through there between 6am and 6:30pm, Monday is one day before the primary, Our meetup group in maryville Tn. has a sign waiving that day on Lamar Alex. Pkwy, i have decided to go solo and from daylight to dark I will be stationed at the famous sign disapearing with 10 ron paul signs all around me, Holding a sign saying "I WIN!" I hope the thief comes by at least they will know who they have stole from. I will have on my little radio so I can listen to Harry from am1470 and dare anybody to take my signs! ONWARD!!!!!!!

Go get 'em

Shake your fist at the sign thief for me.

Des Moines, Iowa

Here in Des Moines on my route to work, I have seen the same 4 Ron Paul signs since early December and they are still there! Large signs, I mean absolutley GIANT and they are in people's yards. Also I have one in my yard and one on the parking. Ron Paul, of course. And I've had them since December.

Also on the same route, there were a couple of Hillary, Obama and McCain, but they are no longer there. No sign of them at all!

Ron Paul is still standing here!

What state?

What State do you live in, legally in most State campaign signs are allowed for so many weeks before an election and must be immediately removed following an election (you didn't already have your primary did you??)

My sixty year old friend

..got a ladder and hung Ron Paul signs up on telephone poles in the very early early morning hours. :)

I work in Maryville, TN but

I work in Maryville, TN but live in Madisonville. There are about 6-8 signs on highway 411 that have been there for over 2 weeks. Madisonville is about to get another hundred this weekend.

Take the signs , use a long tie wrap put holes in both signs tie wrap looped to fit telephone pole. install on poll snug do not tighten tie wrap . take a long pole say 7 ft slot one end to hold the tie wrap end. slide the signs up the pole about 12 ft and twist the pole . Which tightens the tie wrap . can be done in 12 seconds and will stop most sign problems planing this in my precinct.

If you have signs in your yard and they go...........

Nip down to Walmart and get the camera hunters use to take a photo of deer at feeder. It snaps a picture (even in the dark) if something comes near. I put it 15 feet up a tree.
Took the photo of the guy and his car to the sheriff.

Watch and feel the power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watch and feel the power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Put it somewhere a city

Put it somewhere a city worker can't get it. Put it up high somewhere. Anywhere someone would have to risk their neck to get it down.

"But, indeed, no private person has a right to complain, by suit in court, on the ground of a breach of the Constitution. The Constitution it is true, is a compact, but he is not a party to it."

Property Rights and Regulations

Check the sign ordinances for the City in question. If on State property, check state ordinances. If on private property, did you have permission? And there may still be ordinances on size, number, design, etc.

Note that some cities don't allow signs, but they don't have the manpower to take them down unless they get complaints. Political signs may generate more complaints.

Lastly, sometimes supporters of another candidate will take them down. Your city may have an ordinance that prohibits that, too, but not much you can do unless you catch them.

Meantime, it's great that you saw 8 signs. Everyone else on the road saw them, too. That's 8 impressions. Good job!

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

I put a sign on an overpass last night at 10pm

It was gone by 8am. So i put up another one at 9am. It was gone by 11am. I think BIG BROTHER is following me.

Here in Massachusetts

The State Police have been order to remove all signs INCLUDING welcome home signs for our military. The American flag is removed if it is hung on an overpass! I have not seen anything last more than a day but for the last 3 weeks I have seen the same 3 Ron Paul signs.

When we were kids (junior high age) I knew some guys that collected political signs, put 'em in their basements. I don't know why they collected them. Maybe some of it is being done because of this?

I live in TN too. Taking down signs is an ole dirty trick that has been around here for ages. Here's what we do:

1. If need be, employ the help of our buddies from other states who have already voted and may have some left over.

2. Get that message out to the TN meetups pronto.

3. Communicate where exactly they are being taken down. I travel a lot and may be able to help in some cases. Communicate big time.

4. We all work together, we will seriously discourage these people ... they take down 7 signs, we put back 10.

Don't give these turds the satisfaction. WE ARE A PART OF THIS PROCCESS ... and we are growing support in TN.

Over the last week, three different polls have moved us from 2, to 6, to now 9% and leading among non-repubs who intend to vote in the Repub primary...

18% of Independents and 22% of Democrats. This is an OPEN primary folks. Signs are EVERYWHERE, Knoxville, Nashville, Franklin, and almost no others. The radio ads are running of 1510AM and TV ads as well. 14% of precincts have captains. We can do well here if we keep pushing. They (whoever they are) can go to hell.

Where are the signs?

You may find the signs in nearby dumpsters or woods. I have found some and put them right back. We also nail them high on telephone poles with the use of a buckets( Stepstools) and button nails. Keep up the fight. Actuall in Orlando Florida we recollected over 400 signs and sent them to Georgia and Alabama via a Uhaul truck. The two states sent someone to meet the Orlando rep. at the border. Be persistent and passionate. It is very contagious.
Viva Ron Paul and the rEVOLution!!!!.

Did you put them up? If so put them up again. Most cities will allow them, as long as they don't obstruct view of the road/intersection.

I would contact the city and find out what policy is on political signs, and then take it from there.

I live in a small town(about 5000 people) and RP signs are cropping up EVERYWHERE. The message is powerful, and I for one continue to fight for Ron's message of freedom peace and prsperity.

I see signs for businesses that are left up for weeks, RP signs

got about 6 hours.

How about

stake out a big bad ass dog by the sign. hee hee

"We can see with our eyes, hear with our ears and feel with our touch, but we understand with our hearts."

stake out a big bad ass dog

Better yet,

....how 'bout dog feces smeared all over the sign?

Nobody will touch the thing

There seems to be a pattern here... 3 people same state TN

Happens here also

Maybe it's a TN thing.... I'm in Kingsport

Put 'em back up, in different places

I travelled some rural Arkansas roads today, and I'm seeing a lot of Ron Paul signs!!! None for anyone else. I just hope this translates into votes.

Not only are they killing us with their chemicals they insist on killing me in the pocketbook trying to keep up replacing signs. I WONT STOP!!!
