Smart Dog Escapes From Kennel And Lets Friends Out - Video

http://youtu.be/rXpjX4l0hRg
Strange things were happening at the Battersea Dog And Cat Home.

Every night, after the employees left, someone or something was breaking in and wreaking havoc. The shelter was a disaster zone the next day!

So, they set up cameras and caught the culprit red-handed.

It’s a classic case of “Who Let The Dogs Out?”!

Watch!

Finally someone gave a fuller explanation....

I saw it many years ago on CBS and it shocked me. I think after many years it has settled in my mind-- The dog must have been trained to do something similar before it went to dog jail. I had a labrador that would jump up and ring the doorbell when he wanted to go back in the house from the yard. I helped train it with food rewards but came to regret it, especially in winter when he would lean on the doorbell.

Cats

Walking in my neighborhood in the evening, I sometimes see a cat sitting at a front door saying "Open the door." I've always wanted to ring the bell for them.

Initially, my cat wasn't always sure whether to push or to pull a door when it was open just a crack, but she did learn it on her own.

We had another cat that would leap up and hang from the doorknob if you didn't get the hint to open it for him. If it had been a lever doorknob, he probably would have opened it.

There's no doubt they all have their own agendas. Good thing they can't vote!
