It's On! Boehner to Sue Obama

WASHINGTON — Speaker John A. Boehner announced Wednesday that he would introduce legislation next month allowing the House to sue President Obama over his use of executive actions.

In a letter to lawmakers, Mr. Boehner expressed concern with what he — and many in the Republican conference — considered the president’s unconstitutional overreach.

“The Constitution makes it clear that a president’s job is to faithfully execute the laws; in my view, the president has not faithfully executed the laws,” Mr. Boehner told reporters. “And when there’s conflicts like this between the legislative branch and the administrative branch it’s, in my view, our responsibility to stand up for this institution in which we serve.”

Representative Nancy Pelosi of California, the Democratic leader, called Mr. Boehner’s move “subterfuge,” and Josh Earnest, the White House press secretary, said that “it seems that Republicans have shifted their opposition into a higher gear.”

Boehner's trying to round up the cats

So, after holding hands and swaying to We Shall Overcome, they get off the stage and immediately file a lawsuit. What a joke, but they need to maintain the appearance of conflict in Washington.

There are too many cats running from the Republican party, if not in their voter affiliation, at least in their point of view. Too many are challenging the establishment. Too many are angry that, after voting out a majority leader, he was replaced with a clone. Too many are angry about the money and tactics used in Mississippi.

Boehner hopes to remind them that the Democrats are the enemy, not the GOP! Remind them that he needs their support to defeat the Democrats and change Washington!

I hope the cats keep running.

Shouldn't it read: "the House

Shouldn't it read: "the House to sue President Obama over his MISUSE of executive actions...not POWERS??? The wording seems tricky to me.

Nice diversion.

By the time the lawsuits are over, Boner will be ready to retire, and Congress will never have to grow any real balls.

Lol, ok....
