The Mind - Alan Watts

Been a while since I got a video up, thought I'd share it here at the Daily Paul, seen as some of you here enjoy my videos.

If you were only ever to watch one of my videos, I'd ask you to watch this one. Out of all the videos I have created this is one video which I think most people will be able to relate too, including myself. So many of us so easily get trapped in thoughts of the mind.

Its very professionally done but I don't see the point.

I have never observed the problem nor do I relate to the solution.

I've had this problem ever since I found Ron Paul!

Nice! It made me thing.

Crap! Now I'm thinking too much.

I hate when I "thing".

It hurts my head.

Awesome Video :)

Made my day. Thanks for sharing!!

"Take hold of the future or the future will take hold of you." -- Patrick Dixon

Is everybody really constantly worried?

I quite enjoy life and am only worried in huge bouts like three times in my life, school, a girl, and my dad's stroke. Tho I'm only 23. Otherwise I enjoy the grind, the chase and the relaxation comes easy after that.

Idk it's the best time to be alive. Sometimes it doesn't feel like that but we are the contemporaries of the greatest chance of liberty and libertarian values the world has ever seen. Imagine how frustrated Rothbard was in in the 70s or Ron Paul in the 90s when everything was going so well from the bubbles of Keynesian economics and he was the only one who cared.

Were doing well folks. I would say we only need to worry about developing your sense of humor because people like that and then we can win minds and have less worry.

Knock on wood about me not being worried.

The best way to calm the mind

is to sit, relax and concentrate only on your natural breathe, in and out of your nostrils. Your mind will wander, but you must bring it back to concentrating only on your breathe, and slowly but surely your mind will get calmer.

Another great video T&H!

"It’s not pessimistic, brother, because this is the blues. We are blues people. The blues aren’t pessimistic. We’re prisoners of hope but we tell the truth and the truth is dark. That’s different." ~CW

Another valuable

point of view on the topic of worrying:

"No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

This is why I tell you not to worry about every day life, whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They do not plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

Any why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

So don't worry about these things saying "What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today."

Matthew 6:24-34

If I need to still my mind and settle my thoughts I focus my mind on Almighty God and in an instant my mind is quieted and my cares melt away.

your videos are always a treat. keep it up

But the lips of knowledge are a more precious thing.

Awesome video!! Did you shoot most of this yourself? Or was it from stock video? I too am interested in making videos and was just wondering how you put it all together.

I think you could do

that with iMovie.

I use a program called

Power Director 12 :)

I've tried a lot of different programs and I have found this one to be the best by far. For the credits you see at the end I use Adobe After Effects.
