Why the hell is everybody complaining about Obama?

The Senate SUCKS just as bad, if not worse!

The conservative news channels want to blame obama and, HELL YES, he IS to blame.

But lets don't forget the other branches of our worthless government. The other guys with the 12% approval, excuse me, 88% DISAPPROVAL rating.

The NOT so supreme court also SUCKS!

There are 545 people responsible for EVERYTHING WRONG with this country. Not just one although he sucks, clearly, without a plan.

I've noticed it too. Generally it's the old pesant menality - the angry villagers, who still look to a single leader or "king". When things go wrong or right all they see is one man.

It's called State Capture

State Captured---

Under this system, the ruling elite / big business / banking cartel manipulate policy and influence laws and regulations to their advantage. It’s often referred to as the Central Banking Warfare Model. IE.... Central banks print money, the military makes sure everyone takes it, while all along we extract natural resources for cheap. The economy becomes trapped when policy and reform changes necessary to improve governance are undermined by collusion between powerful business and state officials.

Once we all realize that the President and most of Congress are puppets, and that at the very core of the global economy there exists a "super-entity" of financial institutions that control an almost unimaginable amount of wealth and power. The Federal Reserve has made it possible to socialize the financial losses (bail outs) while allowing the profits to remain private. The sinister function of the Federal Reserve is the fact that it allows irresponsible and corrupt politicians to totally mismanage this government and too loot the bounty for themselves and their friends.

I would say that the Obama regime is definitely driving the car towards the edge of the cliff much faster than the Republicans. Either way, were going off the cliff if things don't change.

"State Capture" is redundant

The function of states is to protect capital from the market. That's all it does and all it can do. It exists for no other reason.

Of course the ruse is that it will use it's guns to take from the rich and give to the poor, but this never happens and is impossible in all events.

The rich get richer so they retain control of the state so the rich get richer and thus the poor must stay poor.

The saying 'the rich get richer and the poor get poorer' is simply a description of the state. That's what states do. How fast it does this is a variable. But it always does this.

In the rare cases the state will effect a wealth transfer away from the old ruling class or at least part of it. The state is revealed at this point as being pure force, but it will sacrifice part of the old ruling class so as to protect itself.

This doesn't change anything however. You just have a new set of rich and a new set of poor.

In simple terms all a state can do is violate rights. It lies, murders, extorts, steals, defrauds, kidnaps. It will always do this in service to the highest bidder, no exceptions.

It is however in the interest of the state, and the 'employers' of the state, to delude the livestock into not understanding the simple truth that they are the prey class.

In this enterprise it invents an endless array of problems, that primarily affect the prey class, that the state promises to 'fix', and insists only it can do so, and insists no one else be allowed to try.

Of course these problems cannot be fixed, because the whole point is to keep the livestock distracted, and in the happiest of all worlds, the livestock fight each other.

Well with the US being a net

Well with the US being a net draw on the world, the so called elites were actually able to use this as a way for both the US government and its citizens to be extended massive amounts of credit and encouraged to go out and buy/borrow. This debt based economy keeps the subsidiaries busy and their factories humming. We use our US dollars to buy their stuff, they use those US dollars to buy oil from IMF connected countries like Saudi Arabia and the original lenders (the central banks) collect interest on monies lent to all. The hierarchy created is a control mechanism. Money is sold to us as a convenience to trade services and products.

I think the single biggest obstacle for people who cannot or will not see truth is their own cognitive dissonance. Peoples belief systems are part of what they conceive themselves to be the truth. It can take years to make a shift from one view to another for many people. Hopefully the current revolution can do it. However, many people are still addicted to the very same media that serves as the primary weapon of social control against them. The media divides us and pits us against each other while passing through some underlying agenda.

Pre-approved prescription news.

And those factories built and kept humming based on debt will be revealed as malinvestment, and already are.

Every business decision based on a goosed economy created on some sort of Keynesian stimulus will be wasted resources. Every job created on that basis will have to be terminated when that person might have been employed in a sustainable job, but was bid away by a Solyndra.

Even if you're making business decisions with full knowledge, you usually don't have a choice. If your competitor is using cheap credit to invest in capital goods, just knowing that the investment is liable to have to be liquidated later doesn't help you. You have to compete now. So if your competitor is using cheap bubble money to buy machines to deliver product in 'green' packaging or whatever and you start to lose market share you don't really have much choice but to follow suit, even if you know it will all be a loss when the bubbles can't be blown anymore.

You can't just 'sit back' because you know in the long term your competitor will be hurt by the leverage, because he will clean your clock in the short term.

And yes, people are conditioned to accept cognitive contradictions. It can be undone, but when someone has a cherished belief, that there is a mystical parent figure who loves them and wishes them well, ie the government God, it's really hard for some people to let go. Especially if they may have killed in His name, they may accept subsistence living from Him, or may be habituated to worshiping His religious symbols, ie Old Glory.

I agree.

Replace them all with the Libertarian Party, Constitution Party, Green Party, and Independents. Then we can restore our Republic.

Obama deserves plenty of blame

But of course everything wrong is not all his fault.

However, Obama is a terrible president all by himself. He's not anywhere close to being a good leader. He is a spineless puppet passively accepting age old agendas regardless of the outcome. I see him as lazy and narcissistic, counting the days till he can retire in Hawaii and he has little to no regard what happens to the people of this country.

No he's not the blame for all the ills of our society. But he certainly isn't helping and he is complacently allowing the sewage to back up and overflow and it's spilling all over us all.

I say blame Obama, and blame all the other lazy good for nothings and the not so lazy crooks in office as well.

Sure the people of this nation have gotten complacent but Hollywood and public school brainwashing has been thorough and effective. It isn't easy to wake up from all that.

People refuse to look exactly where blame is due

You want to know why

Its because Senate gets complaints all the time and they get major heat all the time for it. Obama.... NOPE.... The media backs him up every single time. They always try and find a way to help Obama. No one tries helping the Senators out. Obama gets the pass every single time. That is why we are complaining. Its quite annoying how a man like Obama can commit so many crimes yet never takes the heat for it.

Shoot they impeached Clinton for lying under oath.

I am pretty sure Obama lied plenty of times under oath.

Possibly. Or likely.

Possibly. Or likely.

The ($FAKE)1,000,000 question is... "How ?"

About 2 years ago, I jokingly commented somewhere on these forums that I'd be fine with:

"Burn it to the ground."

Yet, not just figuratively.

I guess time will tell if that eventually has to happen this way.

I remember that post. I hate to say it but it seems like that is the only way real change takes effect though out history.

I'm still waiting for the Martians to blow up congress. I'm not afraid, I have loads of Sons of the Pioneers songs queued up.

"You don't say."

Not sure if you meant it only as a joke, but here, I confess:

I surprised myself several times already wishing for an act of God (or, of nature if one prefers) to relieve us a little earlier, if it had to happen that way...

"Go figure."

i wouldn't count that out....

Well, well, well

Well, the POTUS, by his mere being - namely: a fraud - p:sses me off all the time.

But hey, so do all socialists and communists, and Congress is full of them, as well - I don't care if self-proclaimed or not.

If it looks and smells like a turd, guess what : I'm not going to try to taste it - 2 evidences out of 3 are enough for me, thank you.

I've had my dose. Double dose, by now, actually.

Credit goes to the french socialists I grew up surrounded with for almost 40 years.

Now, more on topic:

beyond being p:ssed off by liars and losers that I wouldn't expect less from anyway, whom I'd put the blame on, if I really had to?

Well, that'd be the people.

But I won't, because it's not even necessary - a simple refresher will do, instead:

the people just need to learn the lesson about what they have only asked for.

And they will - here's the lesson I'm alluding to, which really isn't original at all, btw, per history's accounts:

1) One can ONLY hope to get what they've really paid for - that is, in brain cell utilization - INCLUDED.

2) One will ALWAYS lose what they've neglected FOR TOO LONG.

Seen, and learned the hard way, many, many times. And all over the freaking place, at that.

That's all.

My only hope is in the people finally, possibly? ... getting it, but only after their getting spanked, first.

Just as, sadly, so many other countries.

Why do you think I care so much for language and history?

Hopefully some do know why, by now.

Thanks, and you're welcome.

Thanks, and you're welcome. Most of my comments on many topics are not meant to argue just for the sake of arguing.

I really try to share my point of view every time, as boldly as possible.

And I reckon I must be often biased.

And I think it's normal we all are somehow, at some point, more often that not.

But truth usually emerges from our individual experiences bias converging to the same conclusion, that your founders intuited about, and certainly wished to live long:

there are no acceptable supermen - kings or socialists - to rule others, if we understand liberty, and there's nothing more fragile than freedom, when it is being forgotten.

I have the weakness to believe that our memory is still way underused to defend it properly - assuming we really want to commit to it.

ExACTLY! Many of the issues facing us today are a result...

...of what Bush did...

Iraq War

Afghanistan War

Patriot Act

Homeland Security

50,000 illegal children due to a law which Bush passed allowing it

The housing crisis (because Bush forced the banks to lower their
requirements for getting a home loan)

And I blame every RINO, RNC, GOP and media rat who called Ron Paul's ideas "radical."

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."

I put the blame

squarely on the people.

50% do not vote at all and 98% of those that do vote, vote for tyranny. And yes, I know the media and the bankers, and the corruption in the political parties muddies the water, distorts the picture and confuses people. But ya gotta be smart enough to know when you are being schnuckered.

There never has been, nor will there ever be, a nation of people that is both ignorant and free.

Not going to vote our way out of this mess

Surely, the people were the ones who allowed this to happen. They started to allow it to happen as soon as they established the Central Government.

If insanity is doing the same

If insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, why do otherwise sane people here on the DP think voting is different?

The red headed anarchist guy, forget his name, was saying that the rulers are happy when you protest, because it means you validate their power. What they fear is when everyone stops paying them any attention.

Those complaining about Obama and the rest of them, are the ones creating the reality that those people matter.
