I'm sure some folks out there tune in 'for their news' not realizing that they are supposed to take the opposite view of what is being said -- I say that because some people believe everything they hear, everything they read.

It doesn't take a lot of smarts to realize that the humor is in the opposite the man says AND AT THE SAME time it should also be understood that when our government speaks (as in there are WMD in Iraq) we should listen carefully and then take the opposite to be TRUE. Nearly in everything they say -- the opposite of that will be the unvarnished TRUTH.

Thanks for the clip, I enjoyed it.

This is basically an endorsement. The way he does it is crafted in a way that only Colbert could get away with. Eh, maybe Jon Stewart could too. This is by far the best endorsement I've seen. I laughed my ass off. Thankfully someone else can see Dr. Paul's pure logic.

He is satire. Ron Paul clearly is not a crazy kook, clearly he is the only logical voice, and Colbert is making fun of the establishment for always making fun of Paul.

I think when Colbert says, "It's sad" he means that nobody is voting or supporting him. And then he says he doesn't vote with his brain (Ron Paul), but with his gut (Media). Again, a reference to the retarded American public who votes for McRomney.

First he said he's the most conservative, that the other candidates are laughing at him, etc. Then especially when he said "you should look at your guy...my brain's not on strike" and then he cracked up! He couldn't dis Ghouli too much with neocon POS Frum sitting right there, but he definitely stood up for Dr. Paul as much as he could have. Frum is such a sh*t! Why does Stewart even have people like that on his show? There is nothing entertaining or funny about a neocon! They are the ones destroying America.
