NBC Removes Reporter from Gaza After He Witnessed Israeli Assault on Children (

Foreign Correspondent for NBC News, Ayman Mohyeldin, witnessed the murder of four Palestinian boys via Israeli airstrike on Wednesday. After providing a firsthand account for NBC, he was contacted by the network’s executives, and was told to leave Gaza immediately.

NBC insisted that their decision to remove Mohyeldin from the region was due to “security concerns.” However, according to Journalist Glenn Greenwald, they quickly proceeded to replace Mohyeldin, who is an Arabic-speaking, Egyptian-American with experience reporting in the region, with Richard Engel and an American producer who has never been to Gaza and speaks no Arabic.

Mohyeldin’s account of Wednesday’s events in Gaza weren’t just limited to NBC – he also shared them with social media. On Twitter, he reported that he had been playing and kicking a ball with the young boys, just minutes before their lives were ended.

As previously reported, NBC executives chose to remove Foreign Correspondent, Ayman Mohyeldin, after he witnessed and provided a firsthand account of the murder of four Palestinian boys via Israeli airstrike on Wednesday.

Today, NBC News announced that they would reverse their decision, and would be sending Ayman Mohyeldin back into Gaza on Sunday.

Nice to see Glenn Greenwald jump to this guy's defense

Not to mention Ben Swann.

he's been reinstated.

They can't fool us though. The main issue is not being addressed

The question of WHY the Palestinians keep lobbing rockets into Israel is NEVER asked by the mainstream media.

This is because the mainstream media outlets are owned by Jews who know that if they asked that question, it would expose what they don't want exposed.

Because it all goes back to 750,000 Palestinians being chased off their lands in the 1940's.

A couple days ago that RAT Medved (along with Allen Derschowitz) were busy bashing the Palestinians on national radio when a caller brought up the history of the region.

Medved lied and said "Oh no, that's not what happened... Israel "PURCHASED" that land" (which the Palestinians were kicked off of).

When the guy tried to argue it, Dershowitz started calling him a racist and other assorted names.

The apologists for Israel will stop at nothing (including supporting violence) to rid the world of Palestinians as well as the TRUTH about it all.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."

Why? Like you said, Let's go back to the 1940's...

The Israeli-Arab conflict erupted in 1947-48 because the one-time Muslim majority refused to live peacefully alongside Jewish emigrants and re-emigrants, pouring into Israel from Europe after the Holocaust, when no other nations (including USA) would take them in. These Jewish emigrants were not only refugees fleeing horrors in Europe, they were returning to their spiritual, G-d given Biblical homeland, looking for a new beginning after many of them losing everything and everyone they ever knew in the holocaust.
The Muslim population living in what was called Palestine, for years lived 'relatively' peacefully alongside a small Jewish minority before that time, as they had (and still do sometimes) in several other Islamic nations. Typically, Islamist nations will only tolerate a minority population of "infidels", and only so long as they exist as 2nd class citizens under Islamic rule. When the Jewish population rapidly began to rival and become even greater than the Muslim population in Israel, in the mid-late 1940's, the radical Muslims attacked Jewish emigrants. There were attacks and retaliation, and brutality on both sides.
The British, who controlled the area at the time, did not want to get involved, and could not keep control. They abandoned the Jewish refugee emigrants, the already local Jewish minority, the Muslim population, and the whole country.
Surrounded by hostile Islamic nations, and a hostile population in their own neighborhood, the surviving Jews were expected to be wiped out by Muslim nations.
(This may have been all part of Hitler's "Odessa Plan", to round up all Jews in Palestine post-war, and have his Islamist ally The Grand Mufti, wipe them out. Iran, once named Persia, the name translates to "Aryan". Iran today, backs Hezbollah, and Hamas. Also, there were many powerful British, American and globalist individuals who secretly were pro-Nazi, or sympathized with Nazi ideas. They influenced the creation of the U.N. Keep in mind also, that while the USA did not allow Jewish refugees in America, the MIC did import the Nazi brain-trust, via Project Paperclip, and gave them the keys to run many top-secret military and intelligence programs. And there were even British Royal family members who were open supporters of Hitler.)
However, the Jews in Israel had secretly built crude small-arms weapons manufacturing plants underground, hidden from the British, who would have confiscated and arrested them. This allowed enough weapons to be distributed for the Jews to arms themselves, and take whatever gear the British and others had left from WWII, defend themselves from the hostile Islamists and resurrect the nation of Israel.
Over 180,000 native Arab-Muslims chose to join with the new Israeli state, stay on their land, and become citizens. Today their children enjoy equal rights and citizenship just as Jewish Israelis.
However, the majority of Palestinian Muslims rejected joining the Israeli state as their Islamist beliefs refuse to allow them to live under a Jewish majority government. All the surrounding Islamic nations felt exactly the same way, as they still do today for the same reasons, and they simultaneously attacked the brand-newly re-founded Jewish nation. Without any help from the US, UN, or anyone other than G-d Himself, the new Israeli Army defeated the Muslim attackers, in the first Arab-Israeli war. This re-established the Nation of Israel.

As for the role of the United Nations, they have done nothing but hinder Israel from the beginning. They invented the two-state solution, initially intended as a 3-state-Solution in 1947, one Arab, one Israeli, the other secular and controlled directly by the UN. This intended "solution" is what kicked off the first real major Arab vs. Israeli civil conflicts in British controlled Palestine in November 1947. When the Islamic states surrounding the country joined in, while all UN and western nations sat it out, the Jews were forced to defend themselves outright. The UN helped create Israel, but not the way they wanted it. They created the real conflict. And they kept instigating it by never allowing Israel the decisive victory, and putting pressure on Israel for the two-state "solution", that has led to nothing but unending conflict.

You need to become a ...

a Truth Seeker. Read "Against Our Better Judgment" by Alison Weir who also runs the webiste; "If Americans Only Knew." The subtitle to her new book reads, "The hidden history of how the U.S. was used to create Israel."

I couldn't put the book down. I read it in two sittings. More than half the book is footnotes at the end of the book. It is well researched and documented and gives us the real reason why the U.S. got into World War I. I urge everyone to purchase this book and learn the history that has brought us to the disasters in the Middle East.

This is such a horrible thing...

The little boys just wanted to play on the beach, after being cooped up for so long...

"The four Bakr boys were young cousins, the children of Gaza fishermen who had ordered them to stay indoors — and especially away from the beach. But cooped up for nine days during Israeli bombardments, the children defied their parents and went out Wednesday afternoon, the eldest shooing away his little brother, telling him it was too dangerous."

"As they played on and around a jetty in the late-afternoon sun, a blast hit a nearby shack. One boy was killed instantly. The others ran. There was a second blast, and three more bodies littered the sand..."

Now, I don't like the title the OP uses for this thread, despite horrible tactics Israel has used to defend it's own civilians from Hamas' rocket assault. It is not as if Israeli IDF is specifically targeting children. If they are then I would have no sympathy for whoever ordered such a thing. In this case, it is tragically most likely a case of mistaking the children for combatants. Someone saw some young males running around on the beach and jumped the gun and pushed the 'kill' button, before checking to confirm the target. It is reprehensible, and if I were in charge somewhere in the IDF, I would find out who f---ed up, because this kind of bad 'PR' isn't good for the Israeli cause, at all.

"The Israeli military acknowledged later that it had launched the strike, which it said was aimed at Hamas militants, and called the civilian deaths “a tragic outcome.”"

"The four dead boys came quickly to symbolize how the Israeli aerial assaults in Gaza are inevitably killing innocents in this crowded, impoverished sliver of land along the Mediterranean Sea. They stood out because they were inarguably blameless, children who simply wanted to play on their favorite beach, near the fishing port where their large extended family keeps its boats."

"The killings also crystallized the conundrum for the 1.7 million Gazans trapped between Israel’s powerful military machine and the militants of Hamas and its affiliates, who fire rockets into Israel with little regard for how the response affects Gazans. Virtually imprisoned by the border controls of Israel and, increasingly, Egypt, most Gazans have nothing to do with the perennial conflict but cannot escape it."

It is indeed a horribly deadly conundrum the Palestinian people are caught between. On the one hand, they "democratically" elected Hamas to the Palestinian Parliament in 2006. Now Hamas has started another blood-bath for their people, where they are losing the conflict at a 200:1 ratio. Then again maybe the very goal of the Hamas attacks are to provoke an overwhelmingly one-sided victory for the Israeli side, in which many civilians are killed, as with any wartime scenario, to drum up greater international sympathy for Palestine, and support for the 2 State solution. The Palestinian people are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
This is why I support a one-state solution. 20% of Israeli citizens are Arab Muslim and many serve in the IDF. Palestinians should choose to join Israel. Israel should be open to this, and seek this as a solution.
And while I completely understand the sympathy and support for Palestinian civilians, I cannot understand why anyone, especially on DP would support Hamas, and their goals/tactics. They are getting their people killed, using them as human shields around their rocket sites.
Further, this tragedy is evidence that the type of 'drone' style bombing employed with the intention of maintaining "peace" in this two-state solution, not only doesn't work, but is counter-productive to the goal. A one-state solution, or all out World War are the only inevitable possibilities. Israel should have done a long time ago, what they are only going to do partially now. They should go into Gaza and annex back to Israel every inch of land that they keep taking rocket fire from, until it stops. Make everyone a full citizen. If you've committed "terrorism", you get a fair trial, and jail or execution if guilty, depending on severity of crime. Equal rights for all. Whatever you cannot annex, work out with Egypt to take control of it.

late news, he is being sent

late news, he is being sent back now. here is an article abuot it.

Security reasons? Only to replace with someone with less experience in the region? I don't think so.

This is not the fault of

This is not the fault of MSNBC, or the media, or anything.

This is the fault of the American people. Fact of the matter is, NBC is scared that if they allow any "anti-Israeli" information on their network, they will be accused of anti-Semitism. The other media outlets would rip them apart. The American public, which is incredibly supportive of Israel overall, would stop watching. Church leaders around the nation would lead boycotts. I can just imagine Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh eviscerating the network.

Nowadays, the news is not what we need to hear. It is what we want to hear!

"The American public, which is incredibly supportive of Israel overall, would stop watching".

Says who? I don't support Israel and neither do any of my friends or family. It's the mainstream media and our politicians that cheer lead for Israel on a daily basis. They are the ones that say the American people "stand with Israel" and support them. Never let the media tell you what the general consensus is. I wonder who controls the mainstream media.... hmmmmmm.

So, if I remember correctly,

So, if I remember correctly, it is like 30% of Americans think that Israel needs to be in Jewish hands for Jesus Christ to come back.

78% would not vote for a President that openly supported Palestine or criticized Israel.

66% of Americans believe that the Jews have a complete right to that contested land.

Something like 80% say that the Jews are the victims whiles the Palestinians are the aggressors.

71% of Americans believe that we have an "ethical and moral" obligation to maintain Jewish-control of the region.

Now, of course, there is the argument that Americans only believe these things because the media distorts the reality...but that is a cyclical argument.

Times are changing

Many people are learning the truth as a Christian it really bothers me.
How so many ministers can be leading people in false doctrines concerning the Hebrews that they think anything they do is ok it isn't.

Christ said the kingdom was taken from them Israel and given to another nation and that Jerusalem was Satan seat all the killing needs to stop.

At least now we KNOW about

At least now we KNOW about these stories and the other side due to the internet. Before the internet all we Americans heard was pro-Israel propaganda. But today the truth is much easier to attain.

It's also helping to reveal just how corrupt and propagandized the msm is, especially when it comes to Israel. Showing images of OBVIOUS Palestinians and saying they're Israelis in order to gin up the Israel sympathy... It's more obvious than ever.

Why do they hate children?

When discussing foreign media, people here in the States typically get a vision of state-run media but, for some reason, think "it's different here."

It's high-time to turn off the tube.

I get security as a concern

but not if they immediately put another reporter in the same zone. I'd even get it if they cited trauma for the reporter, but they said security was it.

Did you notice he mentioned the boys were next to his hotel? I didn't hear this, that the airstrike was next to an international hotel anywhere but his twitter. It makes me wonder who they thought they were going to hit and where he was from. Surely, they weren't aiming at a soccer game on a beach. Is an international target what NBC wants to hide?
