Press Release: University Silences Scientist After Dinosaur Discovery

07/23/2014
Los Angeles, CA—A scientist was terminated from his job at a California State University after discovering soft tissue on a triceratops fossil, and then publishing his findings. Pacific Justice Institute filed suit, yesterday, with the Los Angeles County Superior Court, against the board of trustees of CSU, Northridge, citing discrimination for perceived religious views.

"Terminating an employee because of their religious views is completely inappropriate and illegal," commented Brad Dacus, President of PJI. "But doing so in an attempt to silence scientific speech at a public university is even more alarming. This should be a wakeup call and warning to the entire world of academia," he continued.
While at a dig at Hell Creek formation in Montana, the scientist, Mark Armitage, came upon the largest triceratops horn ever unearthed at the site. When examining the horn under a high-powered microscope back at CSUN, Armitage was fascinated to see the soft tissue. The discovery stunned members of the scientific community because it indicates that dinosaurs roamed the earth only thousands of years in the past rather than going extinct 60 million years ago.

There's plenty of fraud in

There's plenty of fraud in the "evolution" community. I will also admit that there's some fraud in the creation community. Personally I believe in creation because it answers more questions for me and makes more sense than "everything evolving from one cell". The chances of that occurring is astronomical.

Beware the cult of "government"...

Something to ponder...

DARWIN'S PUZZLE

"Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?" (John 18:38a)

How do you know that what you think you know is really true? Charles Darwin wondered just that, and the answer to his question sheds a lot of light on the origins debate today.

Since Darwin had no formal training in science, he made his case for evolution from philosophy, not from science. Philosophy and theology, after all, was the area in which he was trained. This background led him to ask a very important question. In Darwin's own words, "...the horrid doubt always arises whether the convictions of man's mind, which was developed from the mind of lower animals, are of any value or at all trustworthy. Would anyone trust in the convictions of a monkey's mind, if there were any convictions in such a mind?"

In other words, what Darwin was saying was that if his theory was true, it was the product of a mind not much greater than a monkey's. And who, including Darwin himself, could trust such a mind? The only way in which human thoughts might be separated far above the animals is if creation is true. Either way, the logical conclusion of Darwin's puzzle is that creation is true and evolution is untrustworthy!

It is no accident that as the teaching that man came from lower animals has grown, the number of people who act like animals has also grown. Darwin's own statement seems to show the twisted logic that results from evolution.

Peer review is there to check assumptions

Did he really need to publish this online before publication in a journal? Universities rarely treat such a thing well. People I know would be concerned whether it counted as previously published data. Although its a weird story-- he says theres fossilization which means the bones are old but there is still some soft tissue. Or reminant of it..

Liberty. Get some.

could be both are true.

Fossils exist and thus show proof that these animals lived millions of years ago. Also, if these finding are true, then these animals may have not gone extinct when we imagined they had.

And remember people, there are many countries in this world and many different views. So just as some look to keep a certain view of history, there are those looking to portray another view. If this soft tissue is real, it wont be the first nor last case of it.

How many times has soft tissue been found in dino bones?

The video suggested that this can be proven to be the norm rather than the exception (as if an exception would matter).

I recall a video from a morning show in the 90's where scientists had found soft tissue for seemingly the first time ever. The scientists were baffled at the elasticity of the tendons recovered. Then it seems we hear nothing more about it till now.

Why trust anything coming out of state sponsored education when they are constantly caught corrupting children and changing the facts. Now they are caught once again trying to get rid of people with theories that dismantle their lies.

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

I believe only once before

and she is still working in the data. She proved its soft tissue and you can see red blood cells but the DNA is thought to be has broken down by now. Still, very cool. What the scientist did was melt the bone in acid to remove the hard minerals that replaced the bone and found some soft tissue inside. This isn't done very often for obvious reasons, and has some poeple thinking there could be a lot more bones like that. It shows that we rotting process inside these bones is not very well understood.

mushroom spores are the only thing to survive space.

yet science thinks life came from a big bang. (a giant bomb blew up and out came life)

I for one tend to separate imagination from beliefs in discovering evidence.

Let's not forget mushrooms are more akin to animals not plants.

Permaculture...

you always have some really off the wall things to contribute, but I sure do enjoy reading them. I also think the truth about our origins and the reason we are so conscious (compared to other animals) is stranger than we know. Things have definitely been hidden from us about our past, and the role of "magic" mushrooms on early human society is definitely one of them.

"It’s not pessimistic, brother, because this is the blues. We are blues people. The blues aren’t pessimistic. We’re prisoners of hope but we tell the truth and the truth is dark. That’s different."

Regarding your last point

I found Food of the Gods to be a good read and resource on the subject. This is the condensed version. Way cool!

Thanks man, I do have some wild cards.

this way I can write my own book of life without worrying about whose signature is at the end.

I went to business school and got a law degree on credit so I could know the law for other people, that is not the kind of justice system I trust. So I started long ago to transcend a mountain of normative credibility into a fountain of positive knowledge, and it just so happens I was laying a foundation to my soul.

Cheers to liberty, without it we would not know for ourselves.

Probably time I watch them with my kids*

The Jan Irvin video was very well made. I've posted bits of that one myself back when it was only available in parts [on youtube]. I listened to all of Jan's podcasts back when they were all free. He really did have the best, crazy-diverse list of guests ever.

I'm not sure if I've ever watched the second video, but I'm pretty certain that sometime in the next week I'll be clicking play with every intent to ride its entirety.

*My boys and I just watched a current Hollywood release called "Lucy". All three of us thoroughly enjoyed it, and we also quite enjoyed talking about it as we walked home from the theater. Our conversation developed many tangents into history, drugs, Christian gospels, you name it...

The second video is more revealing about "lucy" than the first

I strongly recommend purchasing the book "curse of canaan" and reading it more than once. It will arm you with more knowledge of the world than any other book on religion. This book does not leave room for speculation, it will unveil many things in your everyday life that directly effects your experience. The minds of everyday people will seem far more automated than ever before as you will be able to distinguish worldliness from self-awareness all the way back to the advent of the word "world"

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford

word "world"

Yeah, inserting that lambda in the word certainly makes a world of difference. :D

More and More

Evidence mounts that macro-evolution is the biggest fraud in the history of the world, they must silence the dissent. They need millions and billions of years or nobody would believe in macro-evolution.

There have been many fossils found with soft tissue not just this one, but there is also other evidence which suggests the earth is not that old, the moon, the magnetic field, the oceans not salty enough, carbon-14 found in diamonds ... but they don't want a debate, per the typical establishment form, call them crazy, un-scientific, conspiracy theorists, just like the did to Dr. Ron Paul .. thats why it is astounding how supposedly thinking people buy into the billions of years evolutionary "theory"

I am a creationist. I believe the world is 5000 years old

not the planet though, that is much older than we know. The advent of the "world" is a device of literature after alpha-numeric writing started 5000 years ago... why does everyone equate that to the planet?

I'm guessing if they can make people believe creationism and science are anti-thetical then they can make people believe anything.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford

The advent of the "world" and our planetary equation

The point you make in your comment was revealed to me by the book Ishmael some years ago. It was a good place to start.

That link you posted about the giant fungus is very interesting. Wish I could find a morel specimen.

If this is true wouldnt there be some C14 dating to substantiate

So.... Here it is.

Recent C-14 Dating of Fossils including Dinosaur Bone Collagen from the Hell Creek formation in Montana.

These Dinosaur specimens are all under ~35,000 years old.

Its time to rethink the sloths who've created our modern history.

____

"Take hold of the future or the future will take hold of you." -- Patrick Dixon

Ya know they always bring up creationism and science as if

they are anti-thetical. This gives them a basis to refute both physical and literal sides to any story such as this story. But in reality creationism and science are of distinctly different origins.

The "Planet" and The "World" are two different things for a reason.

Creationism is about the advent of the written "world" through the discovery of alpha-numeric writing 5000 years ago so that man could account and identify history without losing its oral traditions and having to start over again from word one. The evolution of language eventually formed the literal "world".

Science is about the advent of hypothesis to test physical phenomena in reacting to the literal worldliness already created.

At what point do these morons on both sides stop equating the physical with the literal?

Maybe this is Satan's hideout, the mothership of the modern cartesian duality..

A day is as a thousand years

and a thousand years is as a day?

Freedom is not: doing everything you want to.
Freedom is: not having to do what you don't want to do.
~ Joyce Meyer

So we have to wait one thousand years

for Jesus to be raised from the dead?

Yup,

Every day upon rising one only has to wait another day for it to happen again.

That's what I say to myself every single morning.

Heh. That's what I say to myself every single morning when I arrive at work.
