my mother

my mother

I am just conventional and ordinary, a mediocrity, and I don’t mean anything as an individual, who embraces ancestral heritage, collectivism, and social responsibility.

so many things.

Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In short. The Truth. What you doin, Mike? We need your voice. Steer us captain, oh my captain.

To be worthy of what was given me.

I have been thinking

about this for some time and for me it is Balance, be it with nature, others or with myself.

Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.

short answer

I should give this more time, but I don't have the time to give it. Let me try to hit it hard.

1. This is similar to your post on "what is love."

2. It's really important for *individuals* to have an idea of what is most important and what love is (for them).

3. At some level, my view is that our objective here and in relations with others in the broader anonymous society (to be specific, anyone you don't see every day or have meaningful face-to-face fundamental interaction---like growing food together), our objective here is to figure out foundations for interaction which leave the determination of two things that seem to be your preocupation (love and ultimate goals) out of the picture.

Does that make sense?

I have ultimate goals. I'm happy to discuss them. But I can't imagine that they will be shared by very many people. They are not even shared by my closest family. But I have to (or at least desire to) interact with many many people who don't share my notions of love and ultimate goals. This means I have to find a reasonable framework in which that interaction can take place.

It seems to me, you (Michael Nystrom) seem to keep searching for a framework built on those two things (or those kinds of things) that I view as "out of practical reach."

Am I wrong?

Most Important

1. Ending the U.S. culture of War, perpetual Warfare, and the idea that War is somehow an act of "strength".

2. Monetary Reform, and real accountability and prosecution for Wall Street.

3. Getting the requirement for money (bribery) out of political campaigns and elections. For any system that is based around bribery cannot possibly serve anyone but the elites (oligarchs).

----

Without doing these things, there is little chance for an improved economy, or an improved standard of living, or anything else that would improve our quality of life.

These problems remain a noose around the neck that strangle the life out of Americans.

Paradise Restored

No more evil, no more death, no more pain.

"The wolf shall dwell with the lamb,
and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together;
and a little child shall lead them.
The cow and the bear shall graze;
their young shall lie down together;
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra,
and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den.
They shall not hurt or destroy
in all my holy mountain;
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea." ~ Isaiah 11:6-9

All Seven And We'll Watch Them Fall

There will be a new city with streets of gold
The young so educated they never grow old
And a, there will be no death 4 with every breath
The voice of many colors sings a song
That's so bold
Sing it while we watch them fall

Everyone's got a right to love
Everyone's got a right to lie
But the choice you make
It ain't no piece of pie.

Usually it jumps right up in my face and screams "YOU WERE RIGHT!!!"
followed by an overwhelming sense of fullfillment.
cool song.

To walk amongst the flowers and see wildlife again

as it used to be. To see bumble bees forage amongst the clover fields, and watch the honey bees forage for nectar in the yard and wonder where it came from. To see humming birds once again forage for the sweet nectar. I wish I could see the Monarch butterfly again if only for a short time.

It seems only the simplest things in life I seem to miss the most.

Why do we need so much death to make profits, seems everyone is full of greed these days.

It is disappearing

We love butterflies, and monarch butterflies are called “monarch” for a reason. They are grand. All that fluttering orange and black display on a winged scale built to impress. To charm. But monarch butterflies are in trouble. This year saw the smallest migration ever recorded to their winter retreat in the mountains of Mexico. And if you are looking this summer for monarchs, they’ve been hard to find. There’s a reason, and it goes back to genetically-modified crops, say my guests today. This hour On Point: monarch butterflies, beautiful and in trouble.

Freedom is not: doing everything you want to.
Freedom is: not having to do what you don't want to do.
~ Joyce Meyer

I seen 1 Monarch butterfly this year so far, I am afraid it will

be the last I will see. The vast green deserts around my farmstead are to far for the Monarh to cross, death is the only thing I see for this one Butterfly! Even the nectar in the flowers next to the corn fields are poison to all that visit them.

I think we are witnessing a historic event, an extinction of a species we all know and love! Maybe it will wake us all of the horrors in our future!

ABOVE ALL

somebody has to carry my bones to lie with my ancestors or I shall wander homeless in the afterlife. Everything else is a second prioriity.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Does that mean

someone has to bury your relinquished body properly into the earth at a certain place when the time comes?

If needing help, I'm sure someone would be willing, even myself

Providing my children with

Providing my children with real life skills that will enable them to navigate effectively through this world.
Although they will have eyes that see and earl that hear, I do not want them to be cynical or afraid to trust and love other people.

From that foundation I will hope & pray they find their right path and purpose.

Then I hope that my wife and I will be able to follow right behind on our path, once the girls are on theirs.

Liberty = Responsibility

Take it from me

I am the fifth of six girls, the 7th of 8 kids. My father lost my mother when I was 13, she was only 50 and she was the center of our lives, she was the most virtuous woman I have ever met and I am 44 years old. My father always planned to spoil her until we were grown.

Don't wait to spoil and enjoy your wife - let your daughters see with their own eyes how pure love is, they will carry that with them and give the same to your grandchildren.

Thank you for the wonderful advice

The most important thing a man can do for his children is to love thier mother.
No matter what.

I was fortunate to have two granddads who demonstrated this example for me to draw on though i will never stack up to them, in anyway.
I will die trying.

Wow, glad you appreciate it

It all goes back to basic instincts anyway.

Unlike the commercials on TV that humiliate men and make women look smarter. Women are nothing but consumers these days so it is a no-brainer for advertisers and it doesn't take an Einstein to figure out what their stupidity does for men. On commercials, I mean.

Especially on this website, I'm surprised I didn't see this answer over and over.
Libertarianism is centered on the principle of Freedom.

Ron Paul began his adventure into politics and is driven to this day for 1 single purpose:
To Spread the Message of Freedom.

It's what this country was founded upon.
It's what made us unique in a world of Monarchs and Dictators.
It's what the United States is truly supposed to stand for above all else.

Freedom.
Pass it on.

Undoing my public education

All of the books that I am currently reading have to do with history and what the intent on history should have been. This will help me keep my children informed on what really happened, as well as fill in all of the holes that the public schools are currently creating.

I would also suggest you

refer to public schools as government schools. It clarifies the problem.

Being true to myself and true to my God!

I really find it shocking that most people don't eventually realize that Government is a band of theives writ large, and that no matter how one tries to justify them that they are just completely unjustifiable! The schools all teach this evil religion(even though they blatantly lie and say theat there is a seperation between church and state as if the worship of the state isn't a religion), the churches all teach it(heaven forbid they get kicked off the tax exempt status), and lord knows what problems one can cuase oneself in the work place if you say you don't beleive in this evil religion! This being said, I find it harder to live my life in the way that I would choose when I have this diabolical gang of thieves which thinks they can list my few rights on a piece of paper, they can indoctrinate my kids, take what ever property or money they want, they can limt ones movement, limit ones choice of vocations, limit ones speech, and who has the nerve to after the fact look at me or others with suspicion if we don't sing them praises, worship the gods of their patheon, nor bend a knee and salute this church before every sporting event or when ever they feel the need to haul out their emblems of worship.
