At my son's Birthday party this weekend he bragged,

"Oh yeah! I'm making them a ton of money. Fast, efficient and error free. Four out of four offspring found their way by being productive and honest.

It's the only way that can pay benefits for both parties.

Good job, Mike. Thanks!

Free includes debt-free!

Mike is the best!

He picked exactly the right passage from Atlas Shrugged to read. You could tell he was holding back tears because the words are true and our country is on the wrong side of Ayn's wisdom. A country and it's money are only as moral as it's people.

The last half century has been the age of the self proclaimed victim. People who don't know the difference between being enraged and empowered. Empowerment is a gift you give yourself, that benefits your community. Enragement is a momentary rush of righteousness that comes from being angry at a perceived wrong. A high you can only get when you are a victim. Its a vicious cycle. It's like a hit of cocaine. Just ask Al Sharpton. He has alot of experience in both:)

I sat my 8 year old girls down and had them watch some of the Hidden Secrets of Money series and they started to get it. There is a new generation coming that won't be fooled, because they see the evil for what it is.

It takes courage to speak the truth

Tolerance and mutual respect are clearly the ingredients for such a system which permits man kind to engage in a free and open market place. What happened to these in America?

I almost teared up along with Mike because I thought of my grandfathers and great uncles who were all entrepreneurs. They were taught this from their fathers. It hit me hard because I was not taught the entrepreneurial spirit by my father. It was killed somehow, somewhere along the way before it could be transmitted to me though I don't know where, when, or how this happened.

I'm so thankful to have the Daily Paul as a vehicle for the truth. So much of what we were supposed to have been taught is provided here. It is almost as if the American system is one giant re-education camp intent on moving into extinction the idea of liberty. We carry an enormous responsibility in being provided with the truth.

And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

What happened? I can tell you what happened.

What happened? I can tell you what happened.

The same which happened to my country, and is shoving her down the drain faster, because, unlike America, she wasn't as firmly rooted in liberty for the individual from the start.

Here's what happened and your country was warned against :

The same happens to most countries. It's a slow, destructive process, of peoples afraid of liberty.

I'm sorry :(

You don't need to love money. You must respect earned money.

You don't need to love money. You must respect earned money.

And you better fight the destroyers of money : for your own sake.

The destroyers of money are the same who claim that money, or the love of money, is the root of all evil.

That's the lie, defaming the creators of wealth - as a rationale to steal from them.

The destroyers of money are also the same who breed materialist looters, to replace money with their arbitrary force as planners :

Thank you Mike

Another great addition

No, money is not the root of all evil.

The LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil.

And since the original statement is from the Bible - here is the actual text:

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

The love of money

(...)"you say it’s the love of money that’s the root of all evil? To love a thing is to know and love its nature. To love money is to know and love the fact that money is the creation of the best power within you, and your passkey to trade your effort for the effort of the best among men. It’s the person who would sell his soul for a nickel, who is loudest in proclaiming his hatred of money–and he has good reason to hate it. The lovers of money are willing to work for it. They know they are able to deserve it.

“Let me give you a tip on a clue to men’s characters: the man who damns money has obtained it dishonorably; the man who respects it has earned it.

“Run for your life from any man who tells you that money is evil. That sentence is the leper’s bell of an approaching looter. So long as men live together on earth and need means to deal with one another–their only substitute, if they abandon money, is the muzzle of a gun."

--Ayn Rand in Atlas Shrugged (Francisco's "money speech"

Money is an indispensable tool of trade. When love and charity are not enough to get you whatever you want from life, you must either trade -- or coerce. If you regard money and trade as evil, you must be either a simple-minded communist, or a predatory monster. Which?

Excellent video!!!

I agree with everything in this excellent video, except that it didn't warn against trusting a government(a band of thieves writ large)with securing, regulating, or protecting the value of money! This in my opinion is the pith of our money woes!!

The misquote of 'Jesus' is what really (Paul was the one ..

directly misquoted, however) stood out to me. *Sorry* The closest Jesus comes to this is to say:

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and *mammon. Matthew 6:24

and from Luke:
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and *mammon. Luke 16:13

*Note the two words here are transliterated rather than translated. That may be to highlight the differences between honestly gained money and money stolen. Also, Riches themselves were seen as a god by some, and its name: mammon.

For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1 Timothy 6: 10

God knows that we need money to get the things we need, and Jesus advised us not to 'sweat the small stuff' (Matthew 6:26 -34)

“Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?

and who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?

“And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,

yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’

“For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Mike Maloney's entire series

is excellent, this particular video is one of his best. To see him getting choked up by Ayn Rand's words shows how sincere Maloney is by his witnessing the pride and greatness of what once was being allowed to be turned into the negative of what it has now become.

Former illuminati member Jhon Todd introduction to atlas shrugge

d. The illuminati plan to take over the us and the world. It is an Illuminati book. The book was ordered written and produced by Philip Rothschild, the leader of the Illuminati in his day and age. It was ordered written by a woman named Ayn Rand. She was, at that time, one of Philip Rothschild's mistresses. She was already a well-known author and her books sell nationwide. She wrote this book, it was suppose to be a novel. It's 1100 pages. It was written as a novel supposedly, but it is a codebook. And what's in the book, is a step by step plan to take over the whole world by taking over the United States: http://www.kt70.com/~jamesjpn/articles/atlas_shrugged.htm

You are completely full of

You are completely full of @#$%. You've never read the book and you clearly don't know your asshole from a hole in the wall if you believe any of that garbage. Everything Atlas Shrugged is about is the polar opposite of what the Rothschilds have been trying to do. The Rothchild's gave us central banking. What could be further from Capitalism? If there was a group hell bent on collapsing collectivist society and creating a Galt's Gulch, I would be on their side, Illuminati or not. The central banking empire has nothing to do with restoring capitalism by paying out enough rope for the collectivists to hang themselves with. Its about breaking down and destroying capitalism in order to achieve a perfect Orwellian state of elitist control and domination.

Oh for <*%"@$ sake!

You have obviously never read the book. How is the Illuminati going to take over when everyone is rebelling against collectivism?

John Todd must be a complete moron.

Let me guess, because Ayn Rand did not believe in your magic sky daddy, she is illuminati.

Fantastic. I can understand

Fantastic. I can understand the respect for Ann Rand. She deserves every bit of it and this particular piece needs to be memorized...

good stuff

When you see that in order to produce you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing. <--------------hits home the hardest

I agree with this!

Honestly though, it hit with the second strongest impact.

What hit you with the first strongest impact?

When...[list of a handful]...you may know that your society is doomed.
-@13m or shortly thereafter

Thanks Libera_me, and of course you may not be pulling from the same spot/list, and that would be fine, but I'd still be curious.

The misquote .....

I mention in the comment I made above. Many seem to miss this one, Jesus never said either "Money is the root of all evil" nor did he say "The love of money is the root of all evil." The latter was said by the Apostle Paul, and this at a time when statists (Caesar in particular) were the ones in control of the money. Jesus did say, 'You cannot serve both God and mammon,' this was back when Mammon was not only a common name for currency, but also a name for a 'deity.'

Yes, I did read that in your other comment.

That is interesting, but I don't hear Maloney or Rand claim that Jesus said that [or Paul]. I have heard many people though, in my life claim that as such. Whether or not those people thought that they were quoting from the Bible is another story. Perhaps Rand and Maloney met many of the same folks I've met. I do appreciate though, your references to scripture. They are quite insightful.
