Mississippi US Senate Candidate Chris McDaniel - "I beat Thad Cochran by 25,000 votes" launches formal legal challenge

Six weeks after the primary runoff election, Mississippi State Sen. Chris McDaniel is launching his formal legal challenge of the election results, saying the evidence is so conclusive that he will be calling for courts to recognize him as the true victor of the race rather than calling for a new election.

Interesting to see if he can make it stick

The establishment has all the aces..what court will hear this?

What heppened here happens everywhere

I have a feeling that what happened in Mississippi has happened all over the country. People are so quick to accept the "official" results and move on. I applaud Chris McDaniel's and his effort to expose this wrong doing. I really hope he actually has proof of 25,000 votes. I am a bit confused when they state: "We determined that of the Democrats that did cross over, 71 percent of them admitted they will not support the Republican in the general election. When you take those polling numbers and you go in and do the mathematical regressions, you can see that Chris McDaniel clearly won the runoff by 25,000 votes.” To me that is not proof. I can vote in a Democratic primary, and then vote Republican in the fall...so they better have more evidence than exit polls!!

It isn't that

I have a hard time believing

I have a hard time believing that Mississippi establishment Rethugs will do the right thing. Southern Rethugs are particularly dishonest. Just look what they did in 2000 in FL for Bush.

Yeah, it was a shame they

Yeah, it was a shame they didn't let gore STEAL the election!
What planet are you living on???

Good to hear

Someone taking a stand against this political corruption. I hope he cleans house in court.

You Beauty!

Go get them Chris!

Lord only knows

Lord only knows, but I hope he wins!

Give em hell Chris!

What I love is that same people who were clamoring for Al Gore's recount are now calling McDaniel a "sore loser".

My favorite is a DailyKos article I saw the other day talking about how voting in a GOP primary after voting in a DEM primary is NOT illegal.

Got to keep that one in mind the next time DEMS accuse GOP voters of "sabotaging" a particular candidate.

I doubt he can win the legal challenge, but no harm in hoping and praying for victory.

No doubt in my mind

that there was criminal acts perpetrated by Cochran and the GOP and that slimeball Hailey Barber. Good for Chris. I love a fighter.

Great news!I hope that Chris

Great news!

I hope that Chris is successful for several reasons, but also as a warning to other corrupt politicians.

What's the warning? If you

What's the warning? If you cheat, you'll probably get away with it, but if the victim has sufficient resources and is willing to stake their reputation on a lawsuit which could or could not result in any action you might, at some future date, have to account for your actions.

You've been warned!

no kidding been waiting for this

kinda skimming through Mississippi conservative blogs, it looks like McDaniel has some big time evidence and people who are going to testify on oath to this.

He has the evidence for sure,

He has the evidence for sure, I have been following the threads on other forums. The question is if it will be admitted, and how the Mississippi Republican voters react to this in future elections.

Unfortunately it's going to

Unfortunately it's going to depend on the judge too. There's goin to be a lot of Cochran and liberal activist judges that would love to rule against.
