The fact is, this country does care about flip floppers

So the argument of whether or not he flip flopped in the context of him running for president is moot.

I don't think Rand considers

I don't think Rand considers Israel a foreign nation.

Good one !

.

Rand wants it real bad -- the presidency!

Rand was vetted by Netanyahu when he visited Israel. Any contender with real potential knows that presidential candidates must be stamped kosher if they want the Republican label. Rand learned from his father's honesty about U.S. foreign policy and his wanting to end all foreign aid, including the hand outs to Israel, was why his campaign was scuttled by the RNC, neocon radio hosts, and state parties. Rand is now certified as kosher and will avoid the destruction of his campaign.

We are in the Middle East until the Jews kill all of the Arabs or vice versa or until the United States goes broke and the Jewish lobby can't wring anymore welfare checks out of Washington. There won't be peace in the Middle East until the 800 pound gorilla gets out of the room that being the U.S. U.S. foreign aid and the promise of military support is what fuels the Zionist intransigence in Israel not having to make peace with its neighbors.

It only takes one to KEEP AMERICANS FREE. Know your duties & rights as a juror. Stop the unconstitutional conviction of innocents in federal custody. The Fully Informed Jury CALL 1-800-TEL-JURY www.fija.org IMMEDIATELY if not sooner. It's that important.

Ironic that "flip flopping" was a GOP echo chamber attack word

and was probably developed and market tested by Frank Luntz.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

I will not vote for Rand till

I will not vote for Rand till he stops this Israel ass kissing.

I support Rand,

but I completely understand where you are coming from. I personally hope that he is playing "the game" that needs to be played, in order to get elected. But we will see. So, basically you will be able to vote for him IF he wins, and seeks a second term. Because until he actually gets elected, we won't have any idea what kind of presidency we are going to have on our hands. Just like any other candidate, it matters not what comes out of their mouths before the election.

Cash, Weapons and Surveillance

Cash, Weapons and Surveillance: the U.S. is a Key Party to Every Israeli Attack
By Glenn Greenwald 4 Aug 2014, 12:00 AM EDT 409

The U.S. government has long lavished overwhelming aid on Israel, providing cash, weapons and surveillance technology that play a crucial role in Israel’s attacks on its neighbors. But top secret documents provided by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden shed substantial new light on how the U.S. and its partners directly enable Israel’s military assaults – such as the one on Gaza.

Looks like too many DP's are reading just one article.

There are many articles on this whole situation, from what I can tell were becoming emotionally reactive to yahoo's title of Paul flip flopping. Come on guys. Were better than that. Look up other articles compare contrast, and see whats going on.

Here is one to start on if you want.

agreed, a better article

But in the same conference call with reporters, Paul seemed bullish on aid for Iron Dome. Circling back to today's Iowa quote—I think Paul is trying to separate foreign aid earmarked for Israel from military aid for Israel. That's asking a lot of reporters, as almost all the aid that goes to Israel is foreign military financing, coordinated by the State Department and the Department of Defense. (The last budget contained $3.1 billion of this, for Israel.) Yet that seems to be Paul's argument. He has introduced a bill that would have zeroed out aid to Israel, but he has never specifically targeted military funds. And if you say otherwise, you "mischaracterize" a position that had endeared no small number of foreign policy realists to Paul.

That makes it even worse.

That makes it even worse. Why would he want to help defend apartheid?

Keep throwing around those propaganda buzz-words iconoclast...

Palestinians demanded Gaza. They got it. They keep attacking Israel, so Israel put up a border fence. Again, Palestinians demanded separation, and they got it.

If Hamas and Palestinians would just stop hating Jews and demanding the destruction of the Jewish state, there could be peace. Whether a one or two state solution. I support a one state solution where all have equal rights under the law. They tried that, and the radical Muslim "Palestinians" bombed buses and hospitals and movie theatres and weddings and Bar Mitzvahs, and demanded there own separate land, inside Israel.

The Israeli's with bad, hateful attitudes have grown that way due to a lifetime, and most of them even their parents' lifetimes of other people trying to kill them for who they are... Jews. Their parents escaped the holocaust and their children are in a country only 44 miles wide and surrounded by Arab-Muslim nations who want to destroy them for being Jewish. No wonder the Israeli governments policies, which are determined to keep the Israeli people alive, are so angry and hate filled in their retaliation of people who've been trying to kill them their whole lives for no better reason than they are Jews.

Israel is not apartheid, Iconoclast, and you know it.

PEOPLE OPPOSING TYRANNY - Real Grass Roots!
Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

yep

sure does. while many continue to cover their ears and eyes and chant: la la la la I can't hear you, others, one by one have had enough. I guess everyone has a different tolerance level.

it really does make Rand look terrible

He is against humanitarian foreign aid, but for military aid … really? This is the type of thing that Democrats point at to convince people that their candidates are better than anybody in the Republican Party.

I guess

scrubbing all those books that might be seen as critical of Israel from his site, didn't quite do the trick.

It's ok, end ALL foreign aid, Rand, Israel included...

...I'm pro-Israel and all for that, so long as ALL foreign aid is repealed. Done. 'Fin'.
