John Stewart

Jon Stewart needs to understand that a world where the guiding principle is VOLUNTARY cooperation for mutual benefit, the market, is better than one whose method of operation is the use of force to make people do things that are against their own interest or to keep them from doing things that are in their own interest, the government. Despite the fact that he reports on a daily basis that when government tells us we are doing this to you for your own good the government is almost always LYING. He still favors the second type world. However, I believe this clip does show he is moving the right direction. He is not making fun of Rand here is making fun of the media's constant quest to attack any notion that people should be free, for example the candidacy of Rand Paul.

Personally

I want all aid cut. If Israel was our friend they would understand that America is 17 trillion in debt and counting. We don't have money to go throwing around. A true friend would understand that.

I would have to agree.

I would have to agree.

Yup

I thought the same thing.

Simple:

End all foreign aid.

Didn't propose legislation to stop Israels welfare.

What's not to get, Jon?

When did common sense become a super power?

Why does the magicians phrase

"nothin up my sleeve" come to mind?

#StandWithRand - I do intend

#StandWithRand - I do intend to support Rand. I feel he's the best step toward the progression to NO "government". People are not ready for a jump to total voluntarism (although I'd be pleased to be proven wrong on this). I think there's very little chance that Ron will run again and we really shouldn't force that on him. I'd really like to see both Ron and Rand on stage at the next debates. Polling between the two of them would crush all the statists running. Towards the end of the run, Ron could bow out and ask all his supporters to support Rand.

Beware the cult of "government"...

Stewart and Colbert

Get on my nerves. Every now and then they'll crack a funny joke, but deep down they're your typical big city left wing control freak elitists. And they still peddle the idea that the majority of our government isn't a corrupt gang of sociopaths. That's pretty much why I don't watch their programs.

They work for the man.

Next Week

He will find a way to scorch him. John Steward is a roller coaster of half truth's. He's also the king of looking the other way.

I don't remember the last time I trusted Jon Stewart

He is hilarious.

He is also uber-liberal. Believes in all of it; he doesn't cry a word about failed socialist programs; he supports each new one, including obamacare.

So I don't mind an endorsement FROM ANY liberal host channel or station, but I probably cannot ultimately agree with Stewart on much else.

That Was Great !

Embraced.

I see the subtext of this Stewart clip

as, "Stick to your damn positions, don't start flipping on crap"

Google is government.
