Now is a good time to tell you prophecy and the great wave that will kill most of you.

Years ago we did a convocation called by my spiritual elder harry Bird (Lakota, Pine Ridge) and for the first time, elders of many nations shares the prophecies and visions we have separately but now we had them together. And they just started to overlay and fit in puzzle pieces and we understood that they all meshed together and we are ONE PRAYER. ONE BREATH. ONE PEOPLE UNDER GOD.

Notably absent were Hopi who are like the indians-indians. The keep time on a cosmic scale that is so far beyond most of our understanding and they have this very odd habit of never being wrong. When their elders speak up pretty much everybody in native america shuts up and pulls up a chair and listens and when they disseminate they mean for ALL PEOPLE TO LISTEN.

And they told us what to expect and what is gonna happen next.

Great Wave Teaching

"A great wave is coming and it will sweep away all that you know."

This is coming to you in your generation, this is happening. We do not know exactly what form it will take but LIFE IS ABOUT TO CHANGE RADICALLY.

And this will entail much human suffering. Many will be sweept under this wave and perish.

FORTUNATELY THEY GAVE US A WAY.

The elders tell us how to cope with this exactly the way we teach children to shoot rapids.

1. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HOLD ONTO THE SHORE OR ANYTHING ELSE OR THE POWER OF THE WATER WILL PILE UP ON YOU AND SMASH YOU ON THE SHARP ROCKS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HOLD ONTO ANYTHING OR THE WATER WILL SMASH YOU ON SHARP ROCKS.

2. KEEP YOUR HEAD ABOVE WATER WITH YOUR EYES POINTED DOWNSTREAM, DO NOT LOOK TO THE LEFT OR THE RIGHT AND DO NOT LOOK BEHIND TO SEE WHO IS WITH YOU OTHERWISE....

YOU WILL GET SNAGGED IN SHARP ROCKS AND THE POWER OF THE WATER WILL SMASH YOU.

3. KEEP YOUR KNEES BUNCHED UP IN FRONT OF YOU TO FEND OFF SHARP ROCKS. ALSO KEEP YOUR ARMS WRAPPED TIGHT AROUND YOUR BODY. OR.....

YOU WILL GET SNAGGED IN SHARP ROCKS AND THE POWER OF THE WATER WILL DESTROY YOU.

THIS IS THE TEACHING. NOW YOU KNOW THIS TEACHING AND I CAN STOP SHOUTING AT YOU.

Do you feel sufficiently shouted at?

OK, Smudge Teaching:

The elders would not tell us how to get from this place unless there's another place for us to go to. They would not tell us to travel unless there is a destination. Hopi seldom tell us everything they know but everything they tell us is to help us. So what to do?

When the wave comes, consult steps 1-3 above. And I hope you make it. I think I'm just gonna sit in my chair and let that wave wash over me and I get smashed into a thousand pieces along with everything I have known.

It's said my people will be together in the next place. So that's two places we can be. The Next Place and The End Of The River so basically....

We got options.

I am gonna imagine some of you washed up on a perfect sandy beach and a case of cooled Heineken and a tub full of sandwiches washes by and you guys are like PERFECT! OH TOTALLY AWESOME!

And you young men are tanned and fit and all the women are in bikinis, don't ask me how that happens but you can just start partying down because you are all that is left of the human race and know what?

yer darn good looking.

Scientists Warn Of Massive Tidal Wave From Canary Island Volcano

A wave higher than Nelson's Column and travelling faster than a jet aircraft will devastate the eastern seaboard of America and inundate much of southern Britain, say scientists who have analysed the effects of a future volcanic eruption in the Canary Islands.

A massive slab of rock twice the volume of the Isle of Man would break away from the island of La Palma and smash into the Atlantic Ocean to cause a tsunami - a monster wave - bigger than any recorded, the scientists warned yesterday.

Most of the wave's energy, equivalent to the combined output of America's power stations for six months, would travel westwards to the American coast but enough would be flicked north towards the English Channel to cause catastrophic coastal damage.

A computer model has been designed to show the way the tsunami will build after the volcano, called Cumbre Vieja, erupts on La Palma, at the western end of the Spanish island chain. It describes the almost unimaginable scale of an event that the scientists say could happen at any time within the foreseeable future.

"We're looking at an event that could be decades or a century away - but there will be a degree of warning beforehand," said Simon Day, of the Benfield Greg Hazard Reseach Centre at Univeristy College London.

Most of the rocky western flank of Cumbre Vieja is unstable enough to be dislodged in the next big eruption of the volcano, which is active enough to explode at least once or twice a century. Its last big event was in 1949.

Such a landslide from a future eruption could travel up to 60 kilometres (37 miles) from La Palma's coast, causing the formation and then collapse of a dome of water 900 metres (3,000ft) high and tens of kilometres wide. The bow of this collapsing dome of water would become a giant wave, but also, as the landslide continued to move underwater, a series of crests and troughs would soon generate the "wave train" of the tsunami.

I didn't see Smudge type the word rape one single time. It's crazy how some people think.

Find a place and stay there

Went and heard one of the guys that was one of those designated
back in the 40's or 50's or whenever it was to be one of the bearers
of the Hopi prophecy.

I remember someone asking him what white people should do, and
he responded that white and (IIRC) Asian people had a special responsibility
to attempt to learn how to control and use wisely the technologies that
they had created (don't think the report card on that is looking too good).

He also said that the best thing white people could do would be to find a place
and stay there. I don't think he really elaborated, but thinking about it subsequently,
my take on it is something like this:

People who have the expectation of living with the same people in the same place
and having to provide for themselves with the available resources of that place are
going to value cooperation and social interaction that minimizes inter-community conflict.
Having to provide for themselves with available resources survival will favor developing
an awareness of what resources are available and how to utilize them in ways that don't
undermine/destroy them.

We basically operate under the same constraints on a planetary level, but the problem
is that people mostly don't perceive the situation that way.

For example, let's say someone has some farmland. Even if the person knows that farmland is a critical resource that is declining in absolute terms and even more on a per capita basis, the mindset typically is that even though paving it over for tract homes or whatever will reduce food production they almost never believe that *their* personal food supply is going to suffer significantly as a result of development.

Of course, if you have abundant resources to start out with and a fair amount of space you
can keep a system going for a while that rewards that type of avoidance of responsibility,
but eventually it's going to hit a wall.

Under a system like the US's which is largely based on the avoidance of responsibility, relationships with land, with people & etc. all tend to be regarded as expendable because it's believed that there is always somewhere/something/someone else to exploit. We can screw over these people, cut down that forest, wipe out that herd of buffalo because there's always more somewhere else.

Except there ultimately *isn't*. If we don't figure that out there's no techno-fix going to save us.

As I remember it...the Hopi said that safety...

will be found by relocating to the Four Corners. That the devastation will not reach there... I believe this is presently Navajo and Ute territory.

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

That's unless the "wave" is

one of those multi-decade to a century droughts
that have hit that area in the past...

Something tells me that....

a cataclysmic event tends to change climate and possibly latitude and longitude...considerably... I think the Four Corners was supposed to be a safe place to ride it out...and begin again...

Wha? .....hey....who stole my country?

Tubing the Rapids in the Conococheague Creek Yesterday

Took about 2 hours and tubed an old Indian riverway yesterday that runs across the Mason Dixon line of Maryland / Pennsylvania. My oh my this place is scenic....! Even floated across some bubbly rapids, made my own waves in the stills of the creek just for kicks.

Pertaining to the prophecy mentioned here, one should be VERY worried if one is living in an area prone to danger. It is my suggestion that one should move away from the danger sooner than later. My move from the mega city with 14 lanes of rush hour traffic was made 14 years ago. The area of the country I'm living in drains too well to worry about flooding, rarely sees a tornado, and earthquakes even rarer. Economically "my back yard" is stronger than others with two major interstate highways very close by, a huge FEDEX Ground HUB is a huge asset, and they just built an inland rail road port 3 miles west of my abode.

So, when the wave does hit ( hey I always enjoy your postings Smudgepot ) I'm sure it will hit where I live too, but but but I'm not worried about knee deep water :)

Ramblin Randy

I believe you Smudge.

We've had about 16 inches of rain in the past couple of weeks. And this is the middle of the Texas summer.

I compare it too.

In the beliefs of the first to fourth turnings. I believe we are entering the forth turning.

Money talks and dogs bark

Thank you..

that is very nice.

I think the world will need you at the End of the River

so I hope you get washed along in your chair, riding in that wild wave, knees up and held in place with one arm while the other arm is raised high and swinging wildly around like you're getting ready to lasso that beach at the end, and you're whoopin' away, shouting whatever phrase comes to mind and that will be your prayer alerting Spirit that you're there and enjoying the ride because whatever Spirit does it must be good for you even if at that moment you can't see it. And maybe others will hear you and catch on and they'll start their whoopin', too. The ones too dense to understand, well, the rocks are sharp and they missed their chance by holding on to the dross of their material world and not getting into the Spirit of things.
It's gonna be brutal, my friend, but I'll be whoopin' along with you somewhere out on that river and once we get to the beach... OH! the stories we will have to tell the great-gran-kiddies!

so you are a brave

you will meet the end whooping. WHOOP WHOOP!

So for us crazy warriors there's the objective to have as much fun as we possibly can.

I am an old crazy warrior so I can't go jumping out of helicopters anymore so could you just kinda handle that for us?

I think I'm gonna count on you to have fun for both of us.

Send me post cards.

There is nothing strange about having a bar of soap in your right pocket, it's just what's happening.

LOL No brave here

But when the Spirit whispers in the Wind and shows me what I don't want to see, makes me face it, and when I crumble to the ground sobbing and am told to 'Get up' because I'm 'better than that', what am I to do? I get up. Shaken and stirred, but I get up. And I walk with Spirit because that's what Spirit demands of me. And Spirit is poking and prodding and nudging and downright slapping me in the face to WAKE UP and that inner thing, call it the Soul, knows. Knows we're not the mere mortals we pretend to be. And like a snake we have to slither out of that pretense and be.
We'll see how curious you are once the dam bursts. Curiosity may have been what killed the cat, but satisfation brought him back.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.

Very well stated, stm.

Wish I had the ability to express that feeling as clearly as you did in your comment.

I think that big wave has been mounting for a long time. That makes me think it's what brought us all together here on the Ark that is DP.

“It is the food which you furnish to your mind that determines the whole character of your life.”
―Emmet Fox

Exactly, Nonna, the Ark

Nonna, we're on the same wavelength. When I was reading Smudge's post I though, 'At least we made it on the Ark.' I love watching the Universe work. It was no coincidence that Smudge was holding onto that prophesy during the time Michael determined to close the Ark door. And now Michael has given the world two more chances to join and have their voices heard. We're like a group of John the Baptists emerging from the wilderness of disinformation and spreading the love of liberty.

When the time is ripe you will have the words, too. Let Spirit flow through you, trust in Spirit. Make Spirit you only desire. It's all we really have anyway.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.

Hoka Hey is warrior words, you are a crazy sick animal prepared to kill or be killed.

I am glad that you know these words. But only use them when you are going to war because they are hard words to take back.

I've been calling myself a retired warrior. If there's any more fighting to be done on this planet somebody else is gonna have to do it. I'm done with being a tough guy. I think the most dangerous thing in my posession currently is a soup spoon.

There is nothing strange about having a bar of soap in your right pocket, it's just what's happening.

The key to surviving big waves- never panic.

When a big wave is barreling down on you, there are 3 options

1.Do nothing. Let it crush you. (never really an option IMO)
2.Dive under it and pop out on the other side. Remember, another wave is on it's way.
3.If your in the right place, at the right time, ride that wave, enjoying every second. Maybe it kills me, but at least I went down having a blast.

When caught inside a huge one, sometimes you just have to go with the flow... fighting it is a waste of your precious energy.

Use option 2 or 3 Smudge and we'll see ya on the beach.

So did anybody tell you

that you look pretty good in swim trunks?

Not trying to totally gay you out dude it's just like you fit the part.

;)

Not lately lol

I'm not 18 anymore but I still spend more time than most in board shorts... No banana hammocks though.

Thanks for sharing this post. I found myself reliving river rafting and swimming in rapids again
